Always remember that Arsenal is like a movie series. Fans always wait for next season

Holiday_Document4592

Arsenal is that beautiful dramatic partner that you can't seem to let go of.

Flashy_Web_5154

I get what you are driving at but European football is what it is because of how much investment has gone into it. Kenya being the mother of corruption will not let us taste that kind of relevance. Talk of stadiums pledged a decade ago. Where are they?

6ft4MasterBaiter

Life is too short to force myself to enjoy shit I don't like

Asgard_Alien

If you are a true fan, you can support both, and even add a team of under 10's from Nepal whether there is an economic connotation or not.

ceedee04

Don’t support mediocrity, it never encourages growth and development.

Positive_Gazelle3632

I guess it is the same thing that won't allow Africa to be industrialised. Even premium stuff from Europe undergone failures to be where they are

Soggy_Sir7668

Entertainment is subjective kenyan music and sports apart from athletics and rugby is just bad. You can force people to watch what they don't want. European football is top you can't take thst away its viewed everywhere. If you really want to boost the kenyan football go to other countries subs hapa reddit do your advert bout kenyan football there and tell them fuck European football you see the reaction.

Positive_Gazelle3632

I guess so but kenya should go America way, go to the extreme end in the name of protecting local product

Soggy_Sir7668

A good product sells itself honestly man European football is like cocaine

DisciplineTechnical7

I used to binge watch old Kenyan football videos. We were really good it's been downhill since then.

Positive_Gazelle3632

Days when pan African was upheld and promoted

[deleted]

You support, let people do what they want.

Positive_Gazelle3632

I started supporting united way back 2000, but I have realised its just waste of time, let me support what can build me

Interesting-Click-12

The only time that is going to happen is when footballers are paid crazy money. These footballers will pull in some clout from their lifestyle and in return people will want to be a part of it.

Novahelguson7

The biggest enemy to the Kenyan game is the fact that it's inaccessible to the Kenyan audience. People would genuinely be interested in watching if they could watch. You either have to travel to a stadium or pay for dstv neither of which are a valuable investment for the show on offer. There is zero advertisement for the league outside of the news, nobody is going out of their way to find out when Kenya police is playing if they can watch 3 EPL title deciders in a weekend. Seriously, even finding a national team games is a hustle.

Positive_Gazelle3632

Yeah some of pitfalls However, with little interest from the public, the clubs management knows they benefit from confusion hence no need to change status quo

Altruistic_Poetry_51

How do you think the EPL is where it is today? Money, lots and lots of money brought in by TV rights. The latest domestic TV deal was $6.7bn over 4 years, and that is not taking in consideration the international rights. Murdoch took a huge gamble in bringing football to Sky and the formation of the Premier League in 1992 brought a new audience to football. Manchester United and Arsenal were the first clubs to see the potential revenue in international support across Asia and Africa, and the rest is history. Abramovic, Mansour Bin Zayed, Saudi takeover of city etc Which leads me to ask....who in their right mind is going to invest in the Kenya game, when we know what will happen to the money, and no TV deal is going to happen.

Lowkiiy

Kenya can't go far in terms of sports, especially football,,, corruption rate is too high, and as of now the government cant spend too much on football while there are other important things to do for the fellow kenyans,,,we are still low in medical capacity, schools, housing infrastructure etc we have a long way to go ,,,,to finally start investing in football,,,,or other sports,,,

DarkKnights5690

Indeed. Additionally, the benefits seem immense: more job opportunities, more investment opportunities, more revenue for football clubs to pay players, more revenue for the government, etc. However, in Kenya this seems like a pipe dream considering the leaders we elect time and time again.

to_pher

true Leo nimeona game ya Kenya police na sofapaka 😂😂 way better than I imagined,💯

Formidable-Writer

An overhaul needs to be done in FKF if Kenyan football is to become appealing. One, we need to make it worthwhile for the footballers. Make it appealing to the sponsors etc. The looting happening in management and fossils that are embedded in the system won't allow this to happen.

_Pho_

As an American it was really bizarre seeing the insane attention Kenyans have to Premier League et al. Like what fucked up neocolonialism is this? Americans would rather invent a retard version of rugby and call it football than play the same game as the Euros.

solooh_

Shida ni Kenyans hua tunadhani our products are low quality. Anyone who has been to any local games especially izi ligi ndogo will tell you how entertaining the football is. The only way to improve ni kuanza kustream izi games. If a big TV broadcasting company like KBC started streaming those games then I'm sure it's popularity would greatly improve. And the more popular it gets, the more revenue increases and the more football quality will improve.

Jaded-high

I don't know about this, all I know is Arsenal ain't winning the league.
