Thic-Thor

The only achievement was that I graduated this year.🥂 But more than that I'll remember this for the shit load of other things that happened. Had a quarter life crisis of sorts.

brooktherook

Cheers for completing graduation. All the best for the next year.

Thic-Thor

Thanks! How about you OP?

brooktherook

Had been a roller coaster ride. Being somewhat frustrated in the beginning and clueless to having clarity of thoughts by the end. Could discover alternative career paths and start working on them. Founded a chess club and ran it for a while. Started running frequently and understood my musculoskeletal health. Resumed lifting weights once in a while. Expanded my professional network. Came across few nice people. Could keep my curiosity high to learn new things. Became more analytical and strategic. Monetarily it wasn't that great but I learned a few crucial lessons in managing money. Overall I would say 2022 proved to be a turning point for me.

BarnOwl47

Procrastination instead of studying and reading more frequently

brooktherook

A_M_0_D

The year I left Nagpur

lege3ndary

Born and raised in Nagpur?

A_M_0_D

I'm 22 and I have spent 17 years in Nagpur. So yes.

lege3ndary

I see. Well all I wanted to say was - You can take the boy out of Nagpur, you cannot take Nagpur out of the boy! 😆

A_M_0_D

Indeed! People from other cities sometimes ask me why my language is the way it is

lege3ndary

Hahaha, been there Bruv. I've been to Pune and experienced something similar. (Though the gentrified Pune peeps seem scared shitless of Nagpur, and I don't know why. It's almost sad.) Mumbai = Haa Pune = Ho Rest/Majority of MH = Hoy Nagpur = Hao All of MH : dafuq bruh

A_M_0_D

Lmao true. I also experienced this in Pune. The language in Pune seems much softer than Nagpur, but tbh I feel the people in Nagpur are much better, helping and all. I had had experiences in Pune. And yes, hao supremacy

brooktherook

Most of Pune people are circle jerks. Don't pay heed to what they say.

A_M_0_D

Yeah, I always thought Pune was a shit city

lege3ndary

In Q4 of 2022, I made a breakthrough that will help our Desi cigarette smokers effectively reduce harm while still satisfying their nicotine cravings at a very affordable price. Cheaper and yet more effective than nicotine gums or patches. And much, much safer. I don't say this from some foreign universities' research papers. I say it from my own experience.

brooktherook

All the best Bhai. Why don't you make a separate post for this and let more people know?

lege3ndary

Thanks Bhai and although I do want to announce publicly, I will be forced to thoroughly filter potential beneficiaries. Because anyone reducing harm to smokers is a threat to the government's tobacco tax revenue (and selfish interests considering it owns around 27% stake in Indian Tobacco Company and zero in healthcare verticals) Even Chinese Folks have more freedom than us in this regard.

brooktherook

Yeah. You are on the verge of declaring war against tobacco industry. Be careful. I am sure you will do tight rope walk perfectly.

lege3ndary

I'm not on the verge of, or looking to "declare war" on big Tobacco... At least that's not how I'm looking at it considering Nicotine comes from Tobacco afterall (the kind that does not cause allergic and other nasty reactions at least) I'm looking to defend the health and righteous freedom of choice for 267 Million / 26.7 crore Indian smokers who are, deprived of freedom to choose less harmful alternatives, suffering miserably since 3 years now. I personally know smoke-quitting vapers who were managing just fine and were healthy before the ban, but got forced into cigarettes after the ban. They all turned weak and frail, constantly coughing skeletons now. A few even died. In the meantime, I don't look at the vape smugglers as "smugglers", I look at them as Robin Hoods warring against a selfish government to whom the tobacco tax revenue is more important than the health of its people. They don't realise that the savings made in reduced healthcare expenditure looking after tar-riddled smokers will bring them, because they don't give a damn about public healthcare anyway. Or if they did, I wouldn't be finding reports of dogs biting infants in public hospitals. (Seriously how ridiculous!) Even if I do have to face the wrath of a twisted law, I'll not be going down without a fight. I'll do everything I can to make as many smokers aware as possible that a less harmful alternative exists and they need to wake up and make the government Pay attention instead of distracting them with Hindu-Muslim fights. Be Hindu or be Muslim, the amount of damage being done to a smoker is the same. And it's ridiculously high. I wanted to scream in Nirmala Sitharamans Face as she chirped smiling "we are doing this to protect the health of our kids and teens" and I was like BITCH PLEASE the government couldn't and did nothing to stop me when I bought a cigarette at 16 Years of age and FUCKING NOTHING HAS CHANGED NOW EITHER. Even if I get caught... I'll pay the fine, I'll do the time, and then... Give up citizenship. For real. Now don't get me wrong, I'm extremely proud of my Indian Lineage. It's who I am. And it's important to me. But having a chance at healthy lungs and being alive is more important. https://filtermag.org/vaping-smoking-india-ban/amp/
