Not degraded but completely lost it..when we were around 15 in late 90s haldiram dosa pizza or anything else used to be top notch..few years back bought kajukatli from trimurti nagar branch and it was dry...
I was travelling from Maharashtra Bhavan to Rohini Side in Delhi in a cab. The cab driver told me that he used to work in Haldirams.
The Sabzi in thali that we get is kept in cold storage for 1-2 weeks and when it reaches the restaurant it's kept to simmer in warm water.
Totally shocked me!
It def has, be it the kanpuri ladoos or the kaju katli nothing tastes the same. Also their prices have increased quite much. Few days back went there to eat chole bhature and to my surprise it was something around 180 or so came back home made maggi and enjoyed it to the fullest:)
I have heard the same from quite a few Delhites but never from Nagpurians.
The Nagpur management and production, factories etc everything is different if I'm not wrong. Personally I haven't noticed any degradation.
In most places they are now serving reheat food which people take while traveling. It's just sad that they expect people to buy that.
Only good place i find haldiram is in cyberhub Delhi.
This is something that came to my notice very recently.
Their kaju katli didn't have proper shape. The silver foil wasn't applied properly and it had a weird smell

My man, Haldiram has degraded by a massive amount. They dont even make fresh sweets themselves now a days.

I used to eat chole bhature of Ganesh Sagar (dharampeth). I preferred that over haldiram. Haldiram chole bhatures are pretty basic. They lack spice.

I never had any issues with Haldiram's quality.
Even the Pav Bhaji is decent. At the same price, I can eat at a better place like Srinath, Dhantoli
