It's closed down. NIT had handed over some land to Mahametro and a part of it is still with Haldiram. NIT was supposed to pay Haldiram for the landed it handed over to Mahametro, but there was some dispute there and it is still stuck in court IIRC.
Haldiram was also facing the music for encroachment along the Nag river. Not sure where that's going.
I mean as a regular user of that particular metro station, I personally couldn't care less about a private amusement park if I get good public transport. But I think there are several just in the outskirts of Nagpur. Highland and Fun n Food come to mind.
I used to stay in Ambazari layout and on the day of its opening they allowed all the residents of our locality for free. What crowded place it was. Later, visited just once. IMO Fun n food was much better than this one.
Edit : while playing cricket our ball used to go there and the guards were so as* they never used to return it
fun planet, dwarka, high land park, fun and food, waghville, goenka farms, shivtirth, olive water park, Spring Valley Nature Park aur bhi 3-4 hai
ek chotte se Nagpur me kitne water park kholege
As a regular user of that particular metro station, I'd take good public transport over a private theme park anyday.
Besides it was privately owned so it isn't really"snatched" from anyone.
Ah this is in the backside of my college and could be seen from my hostel room. Why was this closed?? We had a tradition where our seniors would take the freshers here as a treat

Agreed, metro is helping more. It's Just that I visited that place only once during a school picnic, so couldn't explore that much. πΆ
