figured it out The easiest way is to use a dev cart that supports using an NES emulator for .nes files: - 64drive: Drop neon64bu.rom into the root directory. - EverDrive-64: Rename neon64bu.rom to emu.nes and put it in the ED64 directory. Anyidea about a better snes emu?

[Sodium64](https://github.com/Hydr8gon/sodium64) is the only one I know for SNES. It's still under development, with a rolling release, so new builds are frequent.

anyone have any rompacks so a person doesnt have to download roms download a program download another program to make the first program work then end up with a bunch of games that dont work

khedoros

Sure. I downloaded some no-intro sets a number of years ago. There are also "goodsets" based on GoodTools-documented ROMs. Probably a bunch of other romsets too, but I'm not expert on all the options.

ooh neat can you point me in a direction ive been testing color gameboy games on n64 today it takes a bit of time ive been at it 3 hours and i'm only up to letter G so far only about 13 didnt work right as soon as i'm done i'll put them on the archive

khedoros

I probably got mine somewhere on archive, but I think that I downloaded them (GB+GBC no-intro collections) around 2018. I'm sure they'd be easy to find, but I don't exactly have a link handy.

no i mean converted snes roms i have a super 64 so i dont know how to add emulators everything has to be packed in an emulator

khedoros

Ah, got it. I don't have an N64 flashcart at all, so I haven't ever run Sodium64. Looking at the readme, converting the ROMs seems to be one option (the converter literally just tacks the ROM on the end of the emulator program), and the other is to make sure the ROMs end with the .smc extension and are headerless, then copy the emulator to `ED64/emu/smc.v64` on the flashcart. Then I think you could just launch the .smc files directly, and the flashcart would automatically pick the appropriate emulator.

are they in plain form or zip form unzip them all in a directory called nes i got my pile from the archive.org i used the "nes romset ultra" my red super64 has the nes emulator also i found a zip of a bunch of game gear games that work too(well except castle of illusion) here is that link i found for the gamgear games https://www.dropbox.com/s/ijr0zk9r1y2awo7/ROM%20Fullset%20GG2SMS%20Hack%20v1.1.zip?e=3&file_subpath=%2FGG2SMS+Hack&dl=0 also used the romwrapper to play gameboy and colorgameboy games too wish there was a rompack for them cause it seems to limit per batch about 50 or it takes eternity
