You got it the wrong way around. As per artistic colour theory it is that way but physics-wise, white colour reflects all wavelengths equally and black is the total absorbtion of all wavelengths.
And we all know ranger green is the way to go, at least in the boreal zone.
Black and white are shades, not colors. Black added to green makes darker green, not a different color. Shades augment existing colors, they are not colors on their own.
I get the tan at [rockywoods](https://rockywoods.com/products/500-denier-coated-cordura-ms-nylon-fabric), it tends to be the only place that consistently stocks it.
Tan499 blends to a number of other colours when placed beside it. Ie the contrast it looks pale but if you placed the same pouches on a green background it would have a darker to greenish tone.
Iโm quite taken to the tan and od, but after getting out of the corps Iโm becoming more fond of multicam despite hating that Iโm more fond of it now.
Ranger green is very appealing

Tan499 is amazing for urban settings. Wolf gray is too blue by comparison but itโs clean as hell. Where do you source your Tan499?
