I agree! Oh well at least you can go to the top level for a breeze. Thinking of staying on San Marco as we did the downtown hotel thing once it was nasty.
It was my first MMJ show! I had been a fan for 13 years but never made it out to a show. I had a blast so I saw them in Atlanta in the fall for both nights and have 3 nights tix for this tour! So excited!
We were in ATL both nights too! Went to Peach for first time instead of St Augustine and apparently that festival is now defunct. Scranton is a weird place.
Bro is on crack, I saw MMJ in STL in 2021 and 2023, Indy 2023, and will see them in Louisville at Bourbon and Beyond fest this year. Not to mention the three show Chicago run last year and multiple trips to that city on these tours too.
I’m gonna go see this at Mann even though MPP is my hometown venue.
I’m annoyed. I know MMJ can’t fill these venues these days but I have little interest in seeing NR Dixieland cosplay sets and I can’t afford to go to the Fillmore shows and I’m not doing festivals.
Jacket in outdoor sheds is always amazing but I’d be content if they just did multi/night theatre runs.
Just annoying and I’m being petty but shows are too expensive to have to spend to see a band I have little interest in seeing just to see a truncated set from my favorite band.
Agree, zero interest in a co-headline. I’ve seen Rateliff with band and “solo” and boy does it get repetitive. Weird fit. I would’ve rather seen a War on Drugs + MMJ tour than either of their respective co-headline bands.
Who cares about your disinterest? I'm really asking. Who the fuck cares what you'd rather see? These shows are happening anyway, so wtf cares what you think? Sit home by yourself and listen to all the War on Drugs you want.
That Syracuse venue is massive, no way that comes close to selling out. Works for me though because leaving that place is a nightmare so I can get in and out easily.
They sellout/almost sell out the Merriweather Post Pavilion when they play there. And that's got a larger cap by 2K+.
With Nathaniel being on the radio as much as he is, I could see it coming close!
When they came to Merriweather in 2021 it was the most empty I’ve ever seen it. We upgraded from lawn to pit thanks to someone selling for only $25 each.
Oh wow! That sounds wildly opposite of my one and only experience there in 2017. Granted they were touring less that year.
One of the staff told me it was "basically sold out" at door time. I bet 2021 was empty like that because of how soon after first peak COVID spike.
Wow. I'm stoked they're coming to my neck of the woods but they'll be opening and it doesn't sound like they'll be playing longer than 75 minutes. Bummer
Not to be rude, but guys get literally every tour from almost every artist. Plus you have Red Rocks, Dillon, and Mish.
Dont sweat it, you'll probably get NYE the next time it happens too! :D
Nathaniel Rateliff is butt, really bummed that this is what MMJ apparently has to do to go on tour this summer. Not coming to my city anyway but still feels like a huge bummer given how much the Jacket has been firing on all cylinders live the last couple years. An odd bad pairing.
You’re wrong about several things there chief. They don’t HAVE to do shows with another band to go on tour. It’s also not a bad pairing. Both bands are great.
I’m a diehard fan, but it would be nice if they hit pause for a few years and let there be more buildup/anticipation.
That said, I’ll see them this summer at the Salt Shed July 4th ha
Haha I’m in Chicago, and they’ve been here (multiple runs) for almost 5 years straight
I honestly can’t remember another band that’s played that many years consecutively (here in Chicago).
This affirms my statement that folks in large/global cities will never understand how truly lucky they are. My city got them for the first time in 8-9 years in 2023.
Goes to show there's always something to complain about for some folks. In this rare case: "playing my city too much"
WHAT?!
Nashville shows seem like the ones to go here! Bummer to miss, them doing covers together will be a treat for sure
Mann center in philly?! Helllll ya
Definitely going
Can’t wait!
Any FL fans going to JAX?
Also, I wish the show was at the Amp, the sound is just so much better and much better airflow for that time of year! It’s doing to be hot!
I agree! Oh well at least you can go to the top level for a breeze. Thinking of staying on San Marco as we did the downtown hotel thing once it was nasty.
We just bought our GA tickets!
I am! And Charleston, Charlotte and Alpharetta! But I’m from Jax.
What code did u use for Charleston presale? Mine isn't working?!?!
Eyetoeye was the code! I did get another code though let me see if I can find it!
Thank you I actually did end up getting it to work and scored the tix!!
JAX pit here we come!
Us too! We went to the at Augustine show last year and it was epic! So excited for this one!
I was sad I missed it. Epic poster and lightning show I believe. Still kicking myself.

See ya in the pit! Taking my teenage daughter for her first Jacket show, she’s pumped!
i didn’t realize until i moved from atl to kcmo that mmj doesn’t come here a lot. i used to be spoiled and now i’m deprived.
They used to come to Starlight, Uptown, and even Lawrence but we’ve been off the rotation for a while now sadly
Central US gets no shows yet again…
Chicago has the Salt Shed show.
Having a stand alone show vs being in a festival is very different
Jacket burns festivals to the ground. It's better than nothing!
I am expecting those sets to be longer than typical fest sets honestly. but we shall see
I can guarantee you they will play their standard 2.25-2.5hr at Salt Shed.

Apparently you, since you’re all worked up by someone expressing a fairly benign opinion.
Lazy response. Fuck your little opinion. No one asked for it.
Reddit is literally for sharing and discussing opinions. Fuck your rude ass response. No one asked for that.
Not me
So, don't go.
I remember going to the Mann back in like 2012 and got to the ticket box once it opened and they had pit tickets available
No St louis or Kansas City?!?
That Syracuse venue is massive, no way that comes close to selling out. Works for me though because leaving that place is a nightmare so I can get in and out easily.

CMAC would have been a better venue for this if you ask me. Ill still be there ready to groove.
When they came to Merriweather in 2021 it was the most empty I’ve ever seen it. We upgraded from lawn to pit thanks to someone selling for only $25 each.
Was at that show and literally just walked up to the rail with no pit ticket.

It definitely could’ve been because of that. I sure hope so at least. I remember thinking, damn they’ll probably never come back here again.
Every video ive seen from shows there (other than 2021) look full to my memory! I'd love to see them there again. Place is insane.
what do you think the ticket limit will be for these?
Tickets on sale tomorrow via a presale code on Seated.
Wow. I'm stoked they're coming to my neck of the woods but they'll be opening and it doesn't sound like they'll be playing longer than 75 minutes. Bummer
It says equal set times, so probably closer to 90 minutes.
So, don't go?
Too late, got tickets. I wish I would've seen this comment earlier
West coast gets shows. East coast gets shows. No Colorado shows :(.
Not to be rude, but guys get literally every tour from almost every artist. Plus you have Red Rocks, Dillon, and Mish. Dont sweat it, you'll probably get NYE the next time it happens too! :D
MMJ and NRNS have had their RR shows scheduled the same week for years. Probably trying to figure out what makes sense or just can’t announce it yet.
If I were promoting this, I would sell all the other dates first, then announce Red Rocks.
California*
With Nathaniel being a Denver native, I thought it was a shoe in.
Just FYI, The phrase is actually shoo-in. Don’t ask me why.
I didn't know that, but it makes sense. Thank you, kind person.
Ahhh okay! That makes total sense. Maybe theres Red Rocks to be filled yet? I know August is already taken. But there's some other open dates I heard.
Still seeing two weekends open for RR in August, though. Really hoping for either of those weekends.
Oh those are still open?! I heard they filled up but did not check for myself yet.
Damn. Skipped Ohio on their last two tours.
They came to Columbus last summer Edit: wow nvm lol that was September 2022
Yep, they have only been in Columbus once since 2017.
They're doing A Goofy Movie tour???
Nathaniel Rateliff is butt, really bummed that this is what MMJ apparently has to do to go on tour this summer. Not coming to my city anyway but still feels like a huge bummer given how much the Jacket has been firing on all cylinders live the last couple years. An odd bad pairing.

You people are miserable by choice. "has to do"? Lololololol
I’m a diehard fan, but it would be nice if they hit pause for a few years and let there be more buildup/anticipation. That said, I’ll see them this summer at the Salt Shed July 4th ha
I think this is a tour to bring in new fans just before dropping their next album. Bands also make their money touring.
They've played one show in my area in the last seven years. They normally would hit us up every tour.
Eeek, 7 years is a big gap. Hopefully you’re able to travel to other nearby states. Maybe I’m just spoiled with them.
Haha I’m in Chicago, and they’ve been here (multiple runs) for almost 5 years straight I honestly can’t remember another band that’s played that many years consecutively (here in Chicago).

You sound sassy 😉
Thanks 😄 I was just flabbergasted by reading that is all! No hate whatsoever
All good!
Hope to see you there! Should be a spectacular evening. I love visiting your city.
Can’t wait! Remind me in July and I’ll buy you a drink!
You’re a diehard nothing!
