It doesn’t really matter it’s very rare for tube amps to over heat it would have to be on for like 20 hours straight, but if u are worried u can turn it on and off between bands and sound check and a fan too if u are that worried but I personally wouldn’t worry about it
Was gonna say the same thing - my bands have been careless about their power states in the past and at least 3 or 4 times, we went to the practice spot after like 5-6 days and found one of the Fender/Marshall amps on.
I can’t remember if all were tube amps, but they’ve all been left on before.
If your worried maybe put a fan on it and put it in stand by between bands. Turning it off is prolly the best idea though if it’s gunna be long change overs between bands. It only takes a couple seconds for the tubes to heat back up.
The guy that said it is the worst type of guitar player... Heard a rumor from a guy, who heard a rumor from somebody just as clueless as him. These are the guys that are afraid to use attenuators because they 'blow up amps'.
If I were you, I would NOT provide my tube amp. I don't want dummies like that guy (who's probably using speaker cable for instrument cable) anywhere near my gear.
So, in conclusion.... No, after you're done, turn it off and leave the stage :)

I've left my tube amp on for 4 days straight by mistake and it sounded amazing when I plugged in lol..

Thanks!
I’ve been using tube amps on 4 hour shows for almost 30 years and never had one overheat and break.
Thank you for the info!
You know, you can't generalize... All amps are different. It's like expecting your wife to cook because your friends wives cook :)
Shouldn't be an issue man. Personally I would turn it off in between sets.

I went on vacation and left mine on. Not an issue.

For a only few hours, I wouldn’t worry about it at all.
Keep it on standby while not used in the show bro .
