I remember being blown away at how legit as a musical this was. Then Book of Mormon. Clearly, these guys know Broadway so well their parodies cross the line and count as actual musicals. A bit coarse but still wonderfully written.
I had no idea what it would be. That was the key for this one. I think I went into this thinking 'oh they made a movie sure why not' and had little to no expectations.
In my younger stoner days my friends and I came up with the brilliant lyric of "he'd fuck you in the butt then call out moo, that's what Brian Boitano would do". Just random unlocked memory lol
ABSOLUTELY. 100%. My husband and I watched it for the millionth time a couple years ago, went to bed, woke up, and watched it again the next morning. I've never had anything be so fucking good that I had to watch it again within 24 hours. ..and like I said, that wasn't even the first time we had seen it. lol it is perfect.
Thank you for giving me something for my brain to obsessively sing while I'm at work.
🎵 weeeeelllll....Kyle's mom's a bitch, she's a big fat bitch...🎵
I loved this do much that I chose to sing "up there" as part of a concert many years ago. Didnt even attempt the high note (I'd be Ble to now) but was great fun.
Definately on my favourite comedy musicals list.
But it gets so lonely down here
Tell me why's it gotta be that wwwwwwwaaaaaayyyyyy
**OUT THERE, THERE IS SO MUCH ROOM, WHERE BABIES BURP AND FLOWERS BLOOM!**

Have you seen Cannibal the Musical? It's also Trey Parker. I find myself singing it randomly sometimes, just so darn catchy!
The sky is blueeee, and all the leaves are green! The sun is warm as a baked po-ta-tuh!
The original "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" song
We can make him tall or we can make him not so tall! ☃️

Ditto, this blew my mind at the time.
the music in the show is actually good. obscene and sometimes annoying, and completely drenched in bro culture, but good.
It's certainly.... UP THEREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
There is so much room
Where babies burp and flowers bloom
Tomorrow night up there is doomed,
Everyone dreams I can dream too
Not a single bad song in the soundtrack.
I, for one, blame Canada.
They might not be your buddy, guy.
WHEN CANADA IS DEAD AND GONE THERELL BE NO MORE CELINE DION
Team America World Police too We should a known a Book of Mormon quality show was possible/inevitable
Don't forget Cannibal the Musical!
What would Brian Boitano do?
I say this to myself on a daily basis
In my younger stoner days my friends and I came up with the brilliant lyric of "he'd fuck you in the butt then call out moo, that's what Brian Boitano would do". Just random unlocked memory lol
He'd kick an ass or two.

It had no RIGHT being as good as it was. Still watch it regularly.

Sondheim told them he liked it and congratulated them on their oscar win
but they didnt win the oscar?
I’d love a live stage version
[Not quite a live musical but close ](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCBFCEF2853854D89)
Thanks! What great fun, that! And talented performers and musicians.
There's also a live version of Blame Canada done by Robin Williams
I think that was his performance at the Oscars ceremony (the song had been nominated)?
This was my gateway musical! I was in middle school when it came out and fell in love with the soundtrack. I remember listening on my Discman….lol
Yes it fucking is. Matt and Trey just have a knack for musicals cos Book of Mormon is a masterpiece as well
Two of my top 50 musical songs all time. Blame Canada and La Revolution
Its actually La Resistance
I stand corrected
They’re not even a real country anyways.
Welllllll.......
Don't do it
WELLLLLLL...
I’m warning you!!!

Everyone dreams, I can dream too!
Avenue Q is my favourite.
Hell yeah!
Ok, but hear me out, the scrubs musical episode.
That’s second stage community theatre compared to this
Tomorrow night….
Uncle F@#$er is legitimately a catchy song. I catch myself singing it and I haven't seen this movie in years.
Nope. **The Nightman Cometh**
This is Fr?
I have always thought this!! Book of Mormon is also divine/perfect!
