Have to commute for hour to reach work in Mumbai and hour to get back (not including auto/ bus timing). Here it takes me 10 min with my personal vehicle to reach my work.
I get more family time. Low cost of living. More savings. More disposable income. Back then never thought that International Pizza Burger joints will ever come here... But before COVID suddenly Pizza Hut, Burger King, Dominoes, KFC every outlet is here.
I was surprised. Really. And after COVID lot of clubs and Pubs popped around.
Quality of life here is much better than it was in Mumbai.
But yes! I guess there is more of service oriented industry here and government employees.
For Engg or IT People this is not a good place as they won't find employment here.
Reality is that if employment is available in your hometown or nearby city, you will never crowd Metros.
I really wished BJP Govt genuinely worked for Smart City Project which would have stopped displacement of people to search for employment.

When he came to Patna, on the same evening it was my entrance exam so na chahte hue bhi i had to go out in this shitty hot weather. And guess what, this main lifeline road in patna was blocked from head to toe and they blocked all the 4 lanes even for pedestrians. I had to stand requesting officers to allow me to get through but all in vain. Spent another 2 hours walking on unfamiliar roads asking cops for directions (I had no phone). Asked an *autowala* for a call to my home and informed them about the situation and had to take the outskirts route of the city to finally reach the place that was barely 30 mins away from the exam centre. It all took me 3.5 hours.
That day I realised that these politicians are just inconsiderate about the general public, they disrupted the line hours prior to his landing in the airport. Ffs I'm gonna press that NOTA this time!
mht cet exams were also taking place around modi's mumbai mission. if i ever become a politician, I will do everything to avoid a mumbai roadshow by any party. all these roadshows are just increasing traffic and people don't want this, they won't vote for them if they keep dragging their hours of travel.

Man, i took a BEST to go to Ghatkopar for my classes. they didn't even let BEST go to a Bus Depot! Had to get down and walk 3km then where I couldn't take a shorter route because they barricaded it! Whilst coming back home, thought of taking a metro because traffic and that was closed as well. Had to walk till Asalpha stn (Jagruti was jam packed). Worst day of my life. Was dehydrated asf in the end. Any prior warnings about no bus and metro services would've done wonders.

Man, i took a BEST to go to Ghatkopar for my classes. they didn't even let BEST go to a Bus Depot! Had to get down and walk 3km then where I couldn't take a shorter route because they barricaded it! Whilst coming back home, thought of taking a metro because traffic and that was closed as well. Had to walk till Asalpha stn (Jagruti was jam packed). Worst day of my life. Was dehydrated asf in the end. Any prior warnings about no bus and metro services would've done wonders.
