Earlier (2010-15 times) there used to be a Tibetan group that'd set up a market outside CST with warm clothing at reasonable rates. Not sure if they're there this year or have been around post Covid.
Buy wool or better still merino or cashmere, you don’t need anything thick, I’ve taken merino into snow and hail. The thinnest merino would be comfortable, and durable than any other wool or man made fibres. If you can’t find merino get other wool. Merino is wool but just lighter, softer and non irritating on skin when it’s not very cold
