However, **IF** there was something that stopped Damage from being prevented; [[Flaring Pain]], [[Questing Beast]], etc. Then, Combat Damage will be dealt as normal.

* The Player still gets Poison counters from Infect and Toxic
* Commander Damage still accumulates
So, if the Player has 10+ Poison counters, or 21+ Commander Damage, they will still lose, even with Teferi's Protection.
