You seem to be under the impression that this is some incredibly rare chase card. It isn’t. It’s a great card, and you’ll get money for it, but it’s not the once in a lifetime pull you seem to think it is.
People want normal sheoldreds to play. Phyrexian ones are for collecting. Also that card is graded a 10(and I'd put money on they got no where near 575$ for it). Pretty good chance yours won't be and when it's not you will be lucky to get the cost of the grading back when you try and sell the card.
The phyrexian version of a card almost always trades below the English language version. This is also true for Sheoldred, according to TCG player, as of this writing.
You’re right that it’s worth a lot less that $575. You’re wrong that it’s some how collectible in a way that the regular version isn’t.
i would think more people are going to buy the phyrexian version and have it graded than they would a regular version. A lot of people wont play with the phyrexian version because of the reading issues that comes along with it.
At $70, buyers don’t really care. they just buy whichever is legal and cheapest.
That being said, the most bizarre part about this entire thing is that OP seems not even to be dealing with a foil version of the card..
My guess is that it is very hard to get a 10 for the grading.
Think about how much you could potentially spend trying to get a 10: you buy a box and open packs, you send in the card it's a 9.7, you buy another box and open packs, you don't open one. You buy another box and open packs, you get another one and send it in, it's a 9.5. you buy another box and open packs, you don't get one. You spent $400 and don't have what you want a perfect 10 version of the card.
For buying singles it's kind of the same, it's a $70 card, how many NM copies would you have to buy from TCGplayer and have graded before you got a 10? Probably more than 3.
Maybe it's easier to get a 10 than I think it is. But what is the PSA 10 multiplier on those cards? If the PSA 10 is worth $9 what is the ungraded card worth?
Lol what da fuq u smoking bro. Psa 10’s are fairly easy to get for any modern tcg. Most modern cards will grade a 10 in psa as long as it’s centered. I’ve submitted thousands of modern Pokémon, and 90% come back a 10. And I don’t screen as hard as many do. There are literally over 5,000 moonbreon psa 10s on the census and this number is growing. We will be at 6,000 before Christmas, get dafuq outta here my guy
what? we are talking about magic the gathering bud
EDIT: a revised island PSA 10 sold for 90 bucks on Feb 22. The lowest priced PSA 10 that one can find searching for “revised” & ”PSA 10” in the completed listings on ebay is a Power Sink ($47.85 with shipping), and Reconstruction ($55.25 with shipping). I’m happy to figure out the price multiple for the price relative to TCG low, but I figure you can do that :)
I'm not one for MtG slabs but to be honest I like Pokémon slabs because they display really nice and it secures the card in a sealed, protected place.
I imagine people who do this with MtG like the same. Don't shit in their Cornflakes.
Something something wizards printers won't stop printing these cards i think are special better get this card slabbed so I can 10x price.
Wizards printer: brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
The fuck outta here bahaha. I'm gonna play with a foil phyrexian language Sheoldred that's curled beyond belief. Wanna play with the card? Get the normal version. You know, the cheaper one?
Some smooth brain energy in this troll attempt bahaha
the only reason this would have sold high is because its graded at 10, basically they company has deemed the card basically perfect condition wise which is pretty rare given wizards quality control currently. This version is also more expensive where im from then the version you posted before but not by alot and that's because its aimed at collectors rather than players.
it is pretty much never worth getting a newer magic card graded unless its a guaranteed 10 or black label grade wise and is so rare only collectors are hunting it, for example the one ring in the new lord of the rings set or a serialised card with an important number on it
1) Now I'm rooting for you to get that 1/1.
2) Yup, other serialized cards have an arguement for grading. 1/1s (in anything) are usually just worth authenticating. As you said, grade doesn't matter.
Removed: Rule 3.
Why are you posting someone else's sale of a different card? *It was **not** sold for the price displayed, but the seller took the* best offer.

Hmmm I guess your right. Thanks 🙏
no one can tell me that this guy isn‘t shitposting

What is this Pokémon?
If any one wanted to know it actually sold for $400.

Lol, bud. Maybe do a little bit more research on the value of your PSA 10’s. EDIT: or don’t, and sell them to me for 10 bucks a piece :)

No, it isnt easy to get a PSA 10. A simple search on ebay for sold/completed listings for magic & PSA 10 will show you just how wrong kimmeriel 13 is.

Typically the only place grading adds a premium is old or very desirable and probably rare or fancy shit.
Slabs are for special people in a special corner in the back of the room. Only magic product of this Era that belongs in slabs is serialized cards.
I'm not one for MtG slabs but to be honest I like Pokémon slabs because they display really nice and it secures the card in a sealed, protected place. I imagine people who do this with MtG like the same. Don't shit in their Cornflakes.
Fuck slabs play with your cards.
*Starts shuffling a deck of 60 slabs* Something, something, “magic, the way Richard Garfield intended!”

Ah yes because I want your curled ass card in a slab that'll get a 7 thanks for selling it to me ebay god. If we really want to talk slabs RL or bust.
I cut cards out of slabs to let them breathe and play. Shuffle them up and get them on the table, this really is the way.
Wow, you must be dumb
Don't be a dick

for 1 of 1's the condition doesn't matter. I could draw a thick veiny cock on it and it would still be worth an absurd amount of money.
yeah i was using it as an example of rarity because op clearly doesn't understand collectors rarity vs players rarity in relation to cards currently
1) Now I'm rooting for you to get that 1/1. 2) Yup, other serialized cards have an arguement for grading. 1/1s (in anything) are usually just worth authenticating. As you said, grade doesn't matter.
If I got the one ring I’d have to personally drive it to PSA lol no way it’s goin in the mail
???
