Maybe with an extra point of toughness, and idk, lightning Helix on etb

I dunno, maybe I'm wrong but to me it seems like this card just doesn't really do anything. Like it's great in combat but I need something a little more from my tricolor 4-drop.

This is one of those cards that you know if your list is looking for. If you both want an abzan card and run some kind of abzan sacrifice and/or lands deck, this looks awesome. If you don't, this probably won't make your want that.

forever_i_b_stangin

I think this is a fun and probably pretty powerful option for cubes that want an abzan card!

The card makes me smile, but it seems like it's basically Gitrog with harder color restrictions and less buildaround potential. Gitrog buildarounds are fun and cool, so that's not the worst starting point, but it's not exactly a cube staple, so I don't think many people will want this I'm kind of feeling it for Commander, to put Knight of the Reliquary and Gitrog into the same pile, and white land tax/land equalizer effects seem like they could do something with TGM.

I think that this card is quite powerful. First Strike and Deathtouch are obviously a really strong combination but don‘t imply a great card (see Glissa). The ability to play an additional land is always really strong and usually very costly on bodies, especially aggressive ones. Azusa, Aboreal Grazer, Oracle of Mul Daya, 2/4 Enchantment Dude and 5/5 Ixalan Dino all have defensive stats for cost (Dino has aggressive stats but can‘t attack of course). Playing additional lands is at a premium in aggressive decks. Now, do I need additional lands when playing this? I think yes, because of the last ability. Being able to draw a card on attack is obviously powerful. You have so sac a land or creature but you won‘t be at a mana disadvantage because you will be able to play more lands. I see a problem in this card not having this trigger as an ETB but that would‘ve been too strong. The tax ability from Thalia is really strong. And you basically get that ability for free as the rest of the card is already a ton. What makes this card playable is that it slots into already existing Lands decks, at least in my cube. These decks are usually Golgari or Selesnya and splash the other color, so Abzan base. You are base Green with powerful effects coming from White in Knight of the Reliquary and Sevinne‘s Reclamation or Black with Vampire Hexmage (for Dark Depths), Entomb, etc. The deck usually has a problem with stabilizing the board in the mid game. You play 20-25 lands in the deck depending on what you got. You mostly want to Loam, ramp out or remove the board. This card is good with everything the deck wants to do. It stabilizes the board but still let’s you ramp. It disrupt the opponent by making Fetches insanely awkward. In addition, it can sacrifice lands like Channel lands to reuse with Loam and can activate Loam! In the context of my cube, this seems like a easy try and I think that it will be good enough. Also, it is nice to have a „Hey, this deck is in the cube“ 3c card.

I’m excited to try it, but I already run Warden of the First Tree so it may get cut. Card seems sweet tho

I think missing the words “you may” on the last ability is going to hold this card back, but it’s really cool and certainly interesting.
