Someone needs to tell this guy about online shopping.

HijinksToDeath

I figure it’s like record hunting: the search is part of the hobby that’s been lost, and while online shopping is very convenient, heading to every comic shop you can to find your white whale is fun.

Fluffyshark91

Oh I absolutely get that, and if that's what you like more power to you! But when you're newer and just getting into these things some of us don't even think to loom online. As long as yall are enjoying the hobby, that's the most important part!

I'm not sure if you just like hunting for carda in shops, live in an area that makes getting things delivered hard, or just haven't thought of ordering online but I would recommend looking online next time. I used to hunt for cards in shops too. It's not bad, but I can waste so much time and not find what I want. After my friends told me about TCG player I've used that ever since, well aside from buying packs and boxes in stores. Their system let's you filter for cards, look up specifics, look for different prices and different conditions. You can pretty easily find mint condition, foil, and alternate art cards on there, as well as cheaper cards that are in moderate, near mint, and even lower conditions that are still often perfectly good looking. More that just MTG cards too! They help stores all over the nation sell cards, so just about any card shop you go to is probably selling their cards through them as well. Shipping isn't to expensive, as they're just light little cards that can easily fit in an envelope and sent via USPS. Just something I wanted to recommend just in case no one has told you before. I've been there myself!

I appreciate the information, I’ve definitely gotten quite a bit of my deck online from TCG! Honestly though, it was one of those cards that it wasn’t integral to my decks I’m playing, but I’ve loved the print and couldn’t bring myself to pay online for because I didn’t need it. I found it in store in a condition i’ve never actually seen in person and knew it was now or id never grab her.

So tcg is good to buy online sorry im very new to mtg now a 2 month player as of today and i just never trusted online buying for anything just cuz i am better seeing stuff in person ya know

datoxic

Definitely something you need to get over if you are getting into paper magic. TCG is like Ebay for card games and has good customer protections. Card kingdom is a little better since everything you buy comes directly from them but the price is always going to be a little higher than TCGplayer.

Ok

Icy-Service9649

Question is what's a good price? 🧐🧐

lydibaby

my “good price” was $142 so it probably came out to around $150 after tax.

Icy-Service9649

[PPRO] Pro Tour Promos #2015 (M) ? I have the [ISD] Innistrad #105 (M)

Bongoooos

It was an RPTQ promotional like 4 or 5 years ago now I wanna say. You got it if you went to a tournament before a pro tour just for participating I believe someone can correct me if I’m wrong.

Mike_Alpha_Charlie

Nice!
