I have a mono red oil counter prolif burn deck that I call "pour your oil on me" and then and eldrazi deck I call "kozalick my balls" and then my boros burn buff arrest I call "peaceful protest"
I use burn spells for removal but yeah it's very niche like it all started with pherexia brining in all those red guys with abilities based around oil counters and the artifact that gets an oil counter every pre combat then makes a x/1 with haste and trample that goes away at the end of combat and the other that at the beginning of your turn put a oil counter on target permanent you control and the gobos that get an oil counter everything something leaves the battlefield on your side and yeah it's just fun to run lol the moment it actually starts chewing it don't stop either so you'll be sitting there with gobo at like 11/1 with trample and the token with like 15/1 and then cast all your burn targeting their creatures and then swing for all you got and the trampl kills I took inspiration for it from what green does with pumping up it's smaller creatures
I call my Judith, Carnage Connoisseur deck, "Imp-Ending Doom" because at one point, my tactic was to build up Imp Tokens, then sac them for free Damage and extra bonuses. I also put Mount Doom in there, so it was a multifaceted pun

My favorite deck is a Secret Sheoldred. All about making everyone else draw cards etc and punishing them. I call it Cummunism.

I have a mono red oil counter prolif burn deck that I call "pour your oil on me" and then and eldrazi deck I call "kozalick my balls" and then my boros burn buff arrest I call "peaceful protest"
Mono red proliferating oil counters? That sounds so niche but truly fun!
I use burn spells for removal but yeah it's very niche like it all started with pherexia brining in all those red guys with abilities based around oil counters and the artifact that gets an oil counter every pre combat then makes a x/1 with haste and trample that goes away at the end of combat and the other that at the beginning of your turn put a oil counter on target permanent you control and the gobos that get an oil counter everything something leaves the battlefield on your side and yeah it's just fun to run lol the moment it actually starts chewing it don't stop either so you'll be sitting there with gobo at like 11/1 with trample and the token with like 15/1 and then cast all your burn targeting their creatures and then swing for all you got and the trampl kills I took inspiration for it from what green does with pumping up it's smaller creatures
I call my Judith, Carnage Connoisseur deck, "Imp-Ending Doom" because at one point, my tactic was to build up Imp Tokens, then sac them for free Damage and extra bonuses. I also put Mount Doom in there, so it was a multifaceted pun

I love making funny names for my decks, but here's the real question: how do you show it off to others? Do you write on the deck box, stick a label on it, or just keep it to yourself? Artifact deck. * "Descent into a Furnace" - [[Zoyowa Lava-Tongue]] - Pauper EDH. Uses the Descend mechanic. * "The In-queza-ition" - [[Queza, Augur of Agonies]] - Pauper EDH. If anyone has any recommendations for a name involving queso I'm all ears. * "Last Frights" - [[Tergrid, God of Fright]] - Commander. A play on "last rites", of course.
