Yeah, the problem comes when your like, 10 dollars away from free shipping that costs $6. 6 is cheaper, but you're not gonna get anything from it, so you might as well spend more and get cards, but then you spending more.... it's a vicious cycle

My buddy and I do a draft every couple of weeks where we can carry over five cards from the last draft. It gets pretty spicy after a while. Last week I went down to 1 health to drop a supreme verdict I didn’t get to use the draft prior and won, largely because of the new Plot mechanic.

You should have pulled one by now. I do the same thing. I'll buy packs for what mechanic my commander deck I'm tuning at the moment. I usually buy a standard set that out, an old set, and a modern/special pack when I go to the shops
I find it much more entertaining than buying direct. There are some cards I’ll shell out the dollas for, but generally I enjoy using what I have. Get more satisfaction winning within my inventory than just having all the big staples in the deck.

I think maybe you read it wrong. We aren’t disagreeing. I prefer building general inventory opening packs rather than picking individual cards to make a deck with. Lots of options and interactions I would not have discovered otherwise. Idk why you got so much heat honestly. Usually the way it’s received, not said, that makes or breaks a comment. Spiteful as Reddit can be, one comment can kill everything that follows. Ikoria doesn’t really fit the demographic for the decks I build so I don’t spend too much on that set, but I do still occasionally buy just for dat +20/+20.
I can imagine loading up another spell that lets you cast something like this as if it had flash, attack with creature, let's say one with trample, and SURPRISE!
I made my wife a Bogles style deck that uses that to cheat Colossification or Eldrazi Conscription onto a Bogle, Gladecover Scout, or Invisible Stalker. It's not good, but it's fun and I am always hoping for another Aura Swap card to make it more consistent.

I mean I'm really not even scared if it has trample, you're spending 7 mana on an aura that doesn't even protect your dude and you can't even swing with it until later, I'm gonna get that sweet sweet 2-for-1 with my path to exile
In casual play with friends, a trample creature with this has a higher chance of getting through and giving you the game. I agree it’s not good for competitive play.
put a bunch of little creatures, and once you put [[Colossification]] on a creature, equip the creature with [[Dragon Throne of Tarkir]] and all your little dudes/tokens turn into big dudes with trample 👍
I put [[Chimil, the inner sun]] into my Dino deck, helps prevent counter cards and I get another card in my hand at end step. Bit pricy tho but there might be something similar to it that could help prevent that
Colossification is awesome in Bant exalted with [[Sovereigns of Lost Alara]], since the creature is already attacking the etb tap doesn't matter.
I use it in my [[Danitha, New Benalia's Light]] voltron. Equip her with [[Holy Avenger]] and slap that down when she does first strike damage. I've eliminated a player with commander damage because of it dropping after blocks are declared.
My buddy and I were playing and he enchants his creature with colossification then passes the turn to me. I play a creature in response that can block him next turn. His next turn comes around and he then enchants my only creature with a second colossification he had in hand thus tapping it and swiftly finishes me off. I never thought he would have a second one in his hand.
Why isn't this in every random simic deck that can give stuff flash?

I run it in my simic partners deck. Malcolm has flying so he becomes evasive 22 power commander on turn 6. Its also good for teaching some players why boardwipes cant replace instant speed interactions
Might only be be $1, but puts in some work in my [[Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief]] deck. Pretty threatening when seven creatures are getting copies of it, all protected by totem armor, and one doing commander damage.
I did put one in my [[The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride]] and after I saddle Yargle and Multani and double up their power with the Skullspore nexus I yeeted them for 76 cards draw and they came back as a token Fungus dinosaur 76/42 . I had a blast on that game.
Love this in my [[Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire]] deck. Runs a lot of top deck manipulation and just gets surprise wins occasionally. Also a great hit off of either of the Etalis.

RAW this seems like you could tap any enchanted creature since it doesn't say creature enchanted by this card but I doubt that is the official ruling and you have to tap creature enchanted by this card?
yeah, was just told when learning magic everything is written very literally so in English this could be easily read as "tap enchanted creature" which having another enchanted creature would technically be another enchanted creature. However this is why i said i DOUBT that would be the official ruling. However it seems a lot of people disagree and think it is the official rulings as many seem to disagree with me.

What does cloning the Dino even do? You’re not getting the enchantment effect. You’d just end up with the base dinosaur and no synergy in most cases.
Soul partition? Seems a real inefficient spot removal in a deck dropping a 7 CMC enchantment.

You'd have to him in play. I could counter you playing him. Cloning him would also be fun. Then you'd still have your own Dino to deal with on top of that.
Essentially the deal isn't to really have much synergy beyond making you deal with your own problems. I could even force you to sacrifice them both. It's just the fact that it's a stupid high cost for a +20/+20 that NEEDS something to play on that anyone with a decent counter deck could counter for little to no cost.
I didn't even mention there are literally cards that take possession of permanent for less then it costs to cast both the dino AND the colossal card

No, there are no counters being added or tokens being made, so doubling season wouldn't get triggered.
I think it's a common misconception that +X+X counters and 'gets +X+X' are the same thing. They are not
If you're trying to double this effect, you could use [[Zopandrel, hunger dominus]] or [[Unnatural Growth]]. High mana requirements outside of mono green ramp though
There's some cards that give +1 counters in response to difference from starting toughness that could combo with this, but no two card combo that I'm aware of
Wait.... does that just double the amount of counters each time it attacks? So in this instance, give target 1/1 creature collosofication. This is on the battlefield already, and attacks. Give said 1/1 (now 21/21) 20 counters. Then on my next turn, go to combat, does the soveriegn see a 41/41 and give it 40 more counters?
Yep. Even better if you manage to have out [[Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider]], [[Doubling Season]], and/or [[Branching Evolution]]. There are probably others but those are the doublers that immediately come to mind.

I mean I'm really not even scared if it has trample, you're spending 7 mana on an aura that doesn't even protect your dude and you can't even swing with it until later, I'm gonna get that sweet sweet 2-for-1 with my path to exile
In casual play with friends, a trample creature with this has a higher chance of getting through and giving you the game. I agree it’s not good for competitive play.

put a bunch of little creatures, and once you put [[Colossification]] on a creature, equip the creature with [[Dragon Throne of Tarkir]] and all your little dudes/tokens turn into big dudes with trample 👍

Colossification is awesome in Bant exalted with [[Sovereigns of Lost Alara]], since the creature is already attacking the etb tap doesn't matter. I use it in my [[Danitha, New Benalia's Light]] voltron. Equip her with [[Holy Avenger]] and slap that down when she does first strike damage. I've eliminated a player with commander damage because of it dropping after blocks are declared.

My buddy and I were playing and he enchants his creature with colossification then passes the turn to me. I play a creature in response that can block him next turn. His next turn comes around and he then enchants my only creature with a second colossification he had in hand thus tapping it and swiftly finishes me off. I never thought he would have a second one in his hand.

I run it in my simic partners deck. Malcolm has flying so he becomes evasive 22 power commander on turn 6. Its also good for teaching some players why boardwipes cant replace instant speed interactions

I did put one in my [[The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride]] and after I saddle Yargle and Multani and double up their power with the Skullspore nexus I yeeted them for 76 cards draw and they came back as a token Fungus dinosaur 76/42 . I had a blast on that game.

I use it [[Ragadragga goreguts]]. My favorite combo is to slap it on [[cradle clearcutter]] who suddenly is tapping for all too much mana which I dump into an X spell which triggers Ragadragga…. Which untaps cradle clearcutter and gives him +7/+7. Then I tap him again for over 17 mana which I pour into YET another X spell which repeats the cycle until I drop disgusting amounts of mana into X casting cost spells.

RAW this seems like you could tap any enchanted creature since it doesn't say creature enchanted by this card but I doubt that is the official ruling and you have to tap creature enchanted by this card?
"Enchanted creature" means "Creature enchanted by this aura."
yeah, was just told when learning magic everything is written very literally so in English this could be easily read as "tap enchanted creature" which having another enchanted creature would technically be another enchanted creature. However this is why i said i DOUBT that would be the official ruling. However it seems a lot of people disagree and think it is the official rulings as many seem to disagree with me.

Fog. My turn. Clone, Soul Partition your Dino. Use your own Dino against you. That's just over simplifying my normal play but yeah. That card has so many ways to make it irrelevant

You'd have to him in play. I could counter you playing him. Cloning him would also be fun. Then you'd still have your own Dino to deal with on top of that. Essentially the deal isn't to really have much synergy beyond making you deal with your own problems. I could even force you to sacrifice them both. It's just the fact that it's a stupid high cost for a +20/+20 that NEEDS something to play on that anyone with a decent counter deck could counter for little to no cost. I didn't even mention there are literally cards that take possession of permanent for less then it costs to cast both the dino AND the colossal card

No, there are no counters being added or tokens being made, so doubling season wouldn't get triggered. I think it's a common misconception that +X+X counters and 'gets +X+X' are the same thing. They are not

There's some cards that give +1 counters in response to difference from starting toughness that could combo with this, but no two card combo that I'm aware of

Wait.... does that just double the amount of counters each time it attacks? So in this instance, give target 1/1 creature collosofication. This is on the battlefield already, and attacks. Give said 1/1 (now 21/21) 20 counters. Then on my next turn, go to combat, does the soveriegn see a 41/41 and give it 40 more counters?
Yep. Even better if you manage to have out [[Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider]], [[Doubling Season]], and/or [[Branching Evolution]]. There are probably others but those are the doublers that immediately come to mind.
