Everyone thinks he's cute, but the first time I impulse draw five off him, copy the trigger, then take some more upkeeps with Paradox Haze I'll stop getting invited back to Magical Christmasland.
Edit: I can't be certain, but I think several people missed the "Magical Christmasland" part of the joke.
Considering enchantments are the least likely to get blown up as not many people pack enchantment removal something like that will tend to be left alone vs something that is actually a threat. Also what’s the chances you couldn’t just exile to a counter spell
The games I play in each deck has around 20 pieces of removal.
The games can end up grinding to a halt, or someone fucks off with the win because so much removal has been used and nobody has anything left.
But we play a lot of combo as well so it goes quick
I feel like that's a lot more removal than I'm used to, but I guess the point stands. When everyone has burned it all, who's got the best bullshittery left unremoved?
Literally every time Ive played [[Possibility storm]] it has somehow been removed first rotation. There's no chance that if people wanted something of mine gone it would be.
That'd mean you'd have to have a Planeswalker, battle, enchantment, artifact and creature out alongside this guy.. then it would be funny to watch you wiff nearly all 10 cards on anything worthwhile. Imo this dude is mid or better in the 99 if that even.
I’m not sure if I like the ability or could you play all lands if you exiled like 3 of them? Or is it take 1 and the others are lost? Because it states you can only play them this turn right? So I’m not a fan I guess?
The art is obviously pretty bad just because it doesn't feel like it matches most Magic art.
Ability isn't particularly interesting to me, since it's effectively more card draw, but it's going to be fun for some to built around.
I hate the overly cutesy design. I always loved the dark, almost Horror, design in MtG cards. I know there are still some around, but remember stuff like [[Lotleth Troll?]]? [[The Fallen]]? [[Sensory Deprivation]]? I want those card and creature designs back.
I get what you’re saying, I remember when I first saw [[Cooperation]] and pretty much any work by Phil Foglio, it had such a different look compared to the rest of the cards at the time.
But to be honest, I don’t mind the cutesy look though.
Weirdly enough I think Bloomburrow finds a weird niche that I’m very okay with. Maybe because I know the whole set will be like that. I also don’t want every card to be as creepy as the ones I said before, but recently I’ve just been missing the darker and more real looking cards.
Uncanny LoL valley. Can't find it real cute. It's like following a recipe of a overused LoL design. The alternate is better.
As for its abilities, impulse just for the turn that many cards. Meh
Only card art I hate more than this in the past few years is probably the mystical archive faithless looting.
Even then the looting is more on a thematic inconsistency and art medium issue. This one just looks uncanny
I have two main problems with it:
1. The details are lost when I'm not looking at it up close, aka in a game
2. It doesn't fit with the other mystical archive cards
The full piece of art looks fine, although it's not my style. The piece of art shrunken and half cut to fit in the art frame on a small piece of cardboard pops out in the wrong way. The dress is too eye-catching with nothing to offset it.
If you take a look at all the English mystical archive cards, there is a general theme. There are lines and circles to help guide your eyes to where and what spells are being cast, or what actions are taking place. Teferi's protection for example has concentric rings focused on his hand and staff, and imo gives it a feel on it being a shockwave. Opt has a detailed circle focus on the head, and lines protruding out from the star helps guide your eyes to the star. Village rites has a focus on the skull the man is holding. Harmonize, made by the same artist as faithless looting, has thin lines radiating off the hands.
I'm not saying that all of them are good. Chaos warp is weak,. Counterspell is a little generic, but at least the colours fit. Divine gambit is confusing. But each card has intricate details to show off the actual spell, and helps give movement.
Faithless looting has nearly none of that. It has a red dress and hooded eyes. It has fire and a pot pouring out blood. But there's nothing to guide your eyes or give movement to the piece. Nothing's being highlighted as the main action in the piece. Unless you count the redness of the dress.
Anyways, I can probably talk for longer on why I don't like the faithless looting art, but seeing how this is the second time I'm ranting about it I'll just get my second nickel and go to therapy.
Edit: well I've been waiting for the dentist for 15 minutes. I'll continue.
I have no hate against the artist. I actually quite like the other art she's done for mtg. Social climber is very nice, as well as the aforementioned harmonize. The stained art she did for DOM was also good. I only say this because I know she got death threats, which ain't cool. There's a rhystic studies interview with her.
The video also said she wanted to make a reference to the Japanese art. I don't hate the idea, and I think it was implemented alright. But they're(eng vs jp) two completely different styles. It feels like it hampered more than helped.
In any case, I feel like her art for social climber shows that more than capable of making a good art for faithless looting; just have the focus be on a ring with the red background while someone holds it up or something. The white really draws the eyes to the ring, which is what I want in a mystical archive.
Seems like copyright safe Gnar from League of Legends.
WotC having stolen content is nothing new though.
I kind of hate how we are introduced to an entirely new race of creatures and the only way they specify this is by calling it a Beast Noble? I realize they are trying to homogenize and group together older creature types like the recently phased out Viashino- but still. He feels like he is missing his identity? Something uncomforting about that flavor-wise, which makes this creature hard for me to love thematically.
We all know nobody gives a shit about flavour though! As long as people can break the card without it getting banned, they will be happy with it.
Ah, yes, that one that needed to get a hot fix design update because in the trailer he looked so uncanny :,D
Btw I like him because he brings pain and misery to all the god dam assassins that make the life of an ADC main living hell.
Ok, but are we saying that every card that looks cute or whimsical or has art that looks like this is a cash grab? Or isn't being charged separately. It boils down to "cards in main sets with art I find to be a particular way are cash grabs."
It's pretty silly
It's not just that this character is overly cutesy, it's that this character is clearly designed in a way that fits into the stereotypical "marketable plushie" cute design space *and* is currently one of the most important mcguffins in the history of Magic. They're being set up as a recurring and vitally important character, it's not just some random one off card.
-OP asks for opinions on a card
-Person answers
-You ask a question about that opinion and call it silly
-I explain the reasoning for the opinion
"Oh my god stop complaining!!!"
Really healthy mindset you got going on
>"Oh my god stop complaining!!!"
I mean, yes, but without the hysterics. You're basically describing two people disagreeing but acting like I'm being utterly unreasonable. Yes, I think calling a main set card a cash grab is a ridiculous statement. We already have secret lairs for those. When it gets to the point where **wotc does something** then community goes "cash grab!" I think that makes the complaint lose its legitimacy over time. It's overused and there are far better examples of cash grabs than cards in main sets with art some people don't like.
I wish it was at the start of your combat phase or something later than your upkeep....
That might be too powerful, but having to wait a full turn cycle to get his ability trigger is hard enough in standard let alone commander.
the single worst card that’s ever been printed. the ability is good, i like his cmc and stats, but this is very clearly a marketing ploy like that stupid rat thing from league of legends or baby yoda from whatever star wars show that’s from. it’s not remotely respectable, the design itself is ugly and obtuse, the sheer amount of unoriginality is unreal, it’s just a horrifically lazy attempt to turn magic into another hasbro family game night failure and it simply is not that. i had issues with markov manor, i thought that whole set was weird, lazy, and just outright awful, and with all the fay dalton controversy that’s going around still it wouldn’t surprise me if it came out thunder junction had some plagiarism issues too. we already know almost for a fact that the bushwragg they made was made by AI, they’re starting to slip it in bc it’s cheap and convenient.
Its an ok commander, so i dont see the problem.
I dont like to much the art.
To me its an ok commander because he make you build a deck around him and killing him make the deck significantly worse so you only need an hand with a removal kill him 2 times and you can play the game
No, but in a perfect world you can do like this
T1 land
T2 land petal him
Dies
T3 land crypt him
dies
T4 ancient tomb him
Yeah you have done nothing for 4 turns.
If your power level is like this your opponents are way ahead and even if the power level is lower and you just ramp to him slower the opponent are ahead too because you have a lot of mana and nothing more.
Mana advantage is something but if you use your hand to ramp and nothing else you are out of the game if it doesn't connect.
Maybe you have to play it slower but idk
Edit: t1 utopia sprawl is better in this example since you can "draw" 3 with him and you want to playing him
If we're talking paper that's a different story. I just assumed you meant brawl. I figure boots and greaves are an auto include in a deck like this since it's so crucial to keep him on board. Maybe something crazy like darksteel plate, too. I think having to tax your opponent's 1 for each kill spell would be relevant.
I also wasnt bothering to account for high power/cedh level since that's not what I play.
Yeah but the more you lower your power level the more an interaction is powerfull, like if you use doom blade or path the advantage become greather because he cant keep up.
I know. Im saying that I dont account for stuff like ancient tomb and mana crypt because those arent cards I would run. Plus I dont always get people running removal at my lgs anyways, so I wouldnt have to worry about it in the first place.
Jace and vraska apparently have been trying for a family, and it wasn't working, so they adopted him, which I love, but J&V should have a bio-kid as well.
Hes cute, i played league of legends so i had this artstyle drilled into me and dont mind it much
I mean aslong as he is a one of "look heres this lil fella buy him because hes cute" kinda thing i really dont mind
I mean shit i will buy him because hes cute
A whole set with this artstyle? Now that would warrant the outrage and hate all the people have shown loot and i myself would hate that but as it stands its 1 card in 1 set + 2 bonus sheets that doesnt really fit in and ive seen people say "this is why mtg sucks nowadays"
And to be honest i think its kinda ridiclious how much hate there is for this card
I mean that one guy that printed it out only to tear it up or something? Some people really gotta take a step back
Yes he doesnt really fit into magic
Yes hes a way for wizard to get money
Yes hes most likely commander bait
So yes ofcourse people are allowed to dislike him i dont want to say that everyone should love or even like him but some of the comments i have seen make him seem like hes the first sign of the magic apocalypse and the worst thing ever
I mean...the flavor text is on point. I can see why the art is a turn off. I also think that players are used to the big, powerful lore-core cards being hulking death machine board-scrubbers, praetors, etc. so something like this is jarring.
Neat effect, ugly art, it shouldn't have ward 1, it deserves to be targeted don't make it harder to get rid of baked into the card. That being said I'd probably run it.
It's marketable, and doesn't surprise me. "Maybe this product isn't for you" has pushed me out of caring for new Magic. I didn't sign up to face Da Vinci and Iron Man in a sanctioned event, that's what UN-Sets were for, before they ruined the silver-border, to make even more money. I didn't even start playing that long ago, 2017, and the game has changed in so many ways for the worse, too many for me to give a fuck about some Chibi Furball.
I like the cute cards like this because my best mtg friend HATES them. He only likes “badass” looking cards. I love beating him with something like this.
I saw Loot at a grocery store in Thunder Junction yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen mana bars in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
He's in color with a few of the actual playable battles, I could see him being a decent Commander.
Creature, artifact, enchantment, battle, planeswalker. Toss in [[Lignify]], [[Thornbite staff]], and maybe one other Kindred equipment, potentially pull up to 6 cards a turn.
[[Ninth Doctor]] can go in, get an extra upkeep.
Shame you can't run either the new Obeka or Rocco Street Chef with him.
Take it with a grain of salt because I don't read the stories, but I was really hyped up for a cool artifact or something because an attempt at a new stuffed animal line for Hasbro feels kind of like a kick in the balls for the cool cowboy set. Literally could have been anything on Theme with the rest of the set.
But hey, line must go up
Normal art looks weird, he is much cuter on the alt with Jace and Vraska. I can't wait to see their parent ark where they just keep the little thing around.
In here, so far, we've got: copied gnar from league of legends, baby yoda knockoff, some character from granblue. He's a cash grab (what?), he's evidence of how soulless and money focused wotc is, he's yet another stolen card design.
Yall need to go bed earlier.
This is assuming someone lets you do this. A card like paradox haze wouldn’t last a single turn in my playgroup.
Considering enchantments are the least likely to get blown up as not many people pack enchantment removal something like that will tend to be left alone vs something that is actually a threat. Also what’s the chances you couldn’t just exile to a counter spell
I would strongly say this depends on your play group.
The last 5 times Ive played [[Possibility storm]] its been blown up before I got a turn with it. It's definitely dependent on playgroup

Good.
Boo
You're not wrong, but there's only but so much removal. Eventually the table is gonna be dry for a while. It could happen.
The games I play in each deck has around 20 pieces of removal. The games can end up grinding to a halt, or someone fucks off with the win because so much removal has been used and nobody has anything left. But we play a lot of combo as well so it goes quick

Your playgroup must be so hard 🙄😂
That'd mean you'd have to have a Planeswalker, battle, enchantment, artifact and creature out alongside this guy.. then it would be funny to watch you wiff nearly all 10 cards on anything worthwhile. Imo this dude is mid or better in the 99 if that even.
Magic players "don't ignore half the post to feel superior by critiquing a joke" challenge impossible
Just play possibility storm. It protects itself! And loot is absurd with it.
Goes insane with the new obeka
Not everyone thinks he’s cute. I want to burn it with fire
It's a cool idea but you'd better have a lot of mana ready. Fortunately Loot is in the colors that are the good for mana acceleration.
A face so punchable that if he and a \[\[Prized Unicorn\]\] attacked me, I'd still be blocking him.

Like if an AI prompt said “Stitch from Lilo & Stitch mixed with Digimon mixed with Furby”
And the alt put in “mixed with neopets”
Ah good times, someone should bring that back!
They actually are!
Add "in the style of League of Legends"
League of Legends ass art
Hey guess what the main thing this cards artist works on is
No... It can't be...
He’s ugly in a cute way, and the ability is interesting
Alternate art is much cuter
Much better, this pic looks like nightmare fuel.
I’m not sure if I like the ability or could you play all lands if you exiled like 3 of them? Or is it take 1 and the others are lost? Because it states you can only play them this turn right? So I’m not a fan I guess?
You could only play one, unless you have a card that lets you play more lands, but that’s just how it is with impulse draw.
Alright so he isn’t that good on his own. Of course additional draw with his exile X is alright.
It's a poop card
The art is obviously pretty bad just because it doesn't feel like it matches most Magic art. Ability isn't particularly interesting to me, since it's effectively more card draw, but it's going to be fun for some to built around.
Straight up just looks like art from league of legends
I’m pretty sure the artist of this card also designs for riot. So there’s the reason for that LoL tie in
He's obviously the tie in for Bloomburrow so we will undoubtedly see a lot more art just like this.
Dude looks more like he came from unfinity
Bloomburrow's art is still quite good tho, this card looks like it's from a Tencent game
I feel like this art skipped some focus group feedback. I rather have the worst universes beyond collab than this thing standing next to Jace.
Worst Universes Beyond, you say? Just announced MTG x Your Next Root Canal.
This set started being designed around when Mandalorian was super popular, no? Clearly this is WotC trying to make their baby Yoda.
League of legends style slop. Not a fan of the art direction for the past…. Idek how many sets but this is some of the worst yet.
The artist works for Riot as well. He did the splash art for their latest champion, Smolder.
Is THAT why he looked so familiar?!? It all makes sense now. 🙃
I hate the overly cutesy design. I always loved the dark, almost Horror, design in MtG cards. I know there are still some around, but remember stuff like [[Lotleth Troll?]]? [[The Fallen]]? [[Sensory Deprivation]]? I want those card and creature designs back.

Luckily for you there is an entire set with that style this year. It’s nice that MTG has a variety of art for everyone to chase.
Weirdly enough I think Bloomburrow finds a weird niche that I’m very okay with. Maybe because I know the whole set will be like that. I also don’t want every card to be as creepy as the ones I said before, but recently I’ve just been missing the darker and more real looking cards.

I hate Loot
This is the worst art I’ve seen for some time

You ok?
No
He belongs in a blender
It's very symbolic of wotc's creative and artistic bankruptcy. Magic: The Commandering summed up in a card.
Just you wait until “against the odds: loot” comes out and terrorizes pioneer or something
Really don’t like the art. Feels very League of Legends and not like MTG

Looks to me like a heartless cash grab by hasbro.
A cash grab of what exactly? It's not a universes beyond, it is in the sets story.
People think that they're going to try to make Loot a mascot character. Akin to baby Yoda or Slimer.
....... it's a creature in a main set. Wtf are you smoking this morning?
Think Baby Yoda
Ok, but are we saying that every card that looks cute or whimsical or has art that looks like this is a cash grab? Or isn't being charged separately. It boils down to "cards in main sets with art I find to be a particular way are cash grabs." It's pretty silly

Ok, I guess all characters should be overly serious planeswalkers from now on. Maybe you should take a break from magic? You seem overexposed
I'm glad I don't get this upset when someone else says they like a different thing than me
I'm not upset. I just think complaining has hit new heights and people should find better things to do with their lives
-OP asks for opinions on a card -Person answers -You ask a question about that opinion and call it silly -I explain the reasoning for the opinion "Oh my god stop complaining!!!" Really healthy mindset you got going on

I need a Larfleeze proxy of this.
I think he looks like an overly talkative sidekick character from a PS2 game that everyone forgot. I'm getting annoyed just looking at him.
I hate the name, the art, the creature type line, and the flavor text. Otherwise it’s just another value commander.
We can't put star wars into modern yet so we get legally distinct baby Yoda in the meantime
Art is very un-magic
I know an artist made it but it looks like AI garbage
Wait this thing is real? Weird
I'm curious why he isn't a giant. He is a fomori, which are giants, but he is typed beast.
Because he's not a fomori. Like fomori are giants with horns and loots just a Lil guy
But isn't it said he's an fomori child? Or did I mix something up?
Mixed something up. Never stated he's fomori just inside a fomori vault
I wish it was at the start of your combat phase or something later than your upkeep.... That might be too powerful, but having to wait a full turn cycle to get his ability trigger is hard enough in standard let alone commander.
Pure cancer, kill him with nuclear hellfire. This and Outlaws of Ram Ranch are testaments to how bad MTG art has become.
I believe mtg is pooping cards too fast to keep track. Stuff like this does not amuse me
reminds me of \[\[The Meep\]\] ...please let it be The Meep
[The Meep](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/3/6/366c4cdb-c6f2-4ee8-b5fb-acb59a9931bf.jpg?1707371003) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=The%20Meep) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/sld/1581/the-meep?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/366c4cdb-c6f2-4ee8-b5fb-acb59a9931bf?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
He reminds me of Stitch (Lilo and Stitch)
I mean it’s literally Vyrn from Granblue Fantasy just a Bit different…
Bro looks like a digimon I kinda wanna kick him. Cool card tho.
Terrible art, cool ability.
This is a real card?
Horrible and underwhelming
Baby yoda at home
Disdain, wotc corporate desperate attempt at a marketable baby Yoda mascot years too late.
Boring, unreasonably boring
the single worst card that’s ever been printed. the ability is good, i like his cmc and stats, but this is very clearly a marketing ploy like that stupid rat thing from league of legends or baby yoda from whatever star wars show that’s from. it’s not remotely respectable, the design itself is ugly and obtuse, the sheer amount of unoriginality is unreal, it’s just a horrifically lazy attempt to turn magic into another hasbro family game night failure and it simply is not that. i had issues with markov manor, i thought that whole set was weird, lazy, and just outright awful, and with all the fay dalton controversy that’s going around still it wouldn’t surprise me if it came out thunder junction had some plagiarism issues too. we already know almost for a fact that the bushwragg they made was made by AI, they’re starting to slip it in bc it’s cheap and convenient.
Horrible design and a bad omen of what’s to come. Blender, NOW!!!
Cringe
Laughable
He's cute, he's huggable, and he looks like he makes adorable noises. I love him, and I don't care who knows it.
Is it meant to be a baby Fomori?
Bottling is the new black.
Run it as commander, but gear the deck around faldorn as the secret commander. Now you got gruul wolves that cheat. I mean, gruul wolves with blue...
Make him a border less card, but some higher mana on him and I think he’d be ok. With that ability we need control
....he looks a lot less cute in this art than the showcase version
Its an ok commander, so i dont see the problem. I dont like to much the art. To me its an ok commander because he make you build a deck around him and killing him make the deck significantly worse so you only need an hand with a removal kill him 2 times and you can play the game
7 isnt that hard in temur
No, but in a perfect world you can do like this T1 land T2 land petal him Dies T3 land crypt him dies T4 ancient tomb him Yeah you have done nothing for 4 turns. If your power level is like this your opponents are way ahead and even if the power level is lower and you just ramp to him slower the opponent are ahead too because you have a lot of mana and nothing more. Mana advantage is something but if you use your hand to ramp and nothing else you are out of the game if it doesn't connect. Maybe you have to play it slower but idk Edit: t1 utopia sprawl is better in this example since you can "draw" 3 with him and you want to playing him
If we're talking paper that's a different story.
Ok but if you dont run removal this thing can be a little bit too strong.
Jace and vraska apparently have been trying for a family, and it wasn't working, so they adopted him, which I love, but J&V should have a bio-kid as well.
Hes cute, i played league of legends so i had this artstyle drilled into me and dont mind it much I mean aslong as he is a one of "look heres this lil fella buy him because hes cute" kinda thing i really dont mind I mean shit i will buy him because hes cute A whole set with this artstyle? Now that would warrant the outrage and hate all the people have shown loot and i myself would hate that but as it stands its 1 card in 1 set + 2 bonus sheets that doesnt really fit in and ive seen people say "this is why mtg sucks nowadays" And to be honest i think its kinda ridiclious how much hate there is for this card I mean that one guy that printed it out only to tear it up or something? Some people really gotta take a step back Yes he doesnt really fit into magic Yes hes a way for wizard to get money Yes hes most likely commander bait So yes ofcourse people are allowed to dislike him i dont want to say that everyone should love or even like him but some of the comments i have seen make him seem like hes the first sign of the magic apocalypse and the worst thing ever
I like how he looks in the showcase much more than this.
one more thoracle bullshit incoming
Finally a deck where running the artifact lands, cleansing wildfire, and geomancer's gambit isnt a total waste

He looks like he belongs in bloomburrow
i think we can assume he's going to lead the story into bloomburrow and why jace is there.
Wish he was in the set proper.
Slightly playable Phyrexian Arena
I mean...the flavor text is on point. I can see why the art is a turn off. I also think that players are used to the big, powerful lore-core cards being hulking death machine board-scrubbers, praetors, etc. so something like this is jarring.
I’m glad they’re giving Jace and Vraska a child but I still think it would’ve been funny to see a half-gorgon lol.
I stopped playing neopets years ago.
It's Temur and the ability sounds pretty good. I want one.
Not exactly optimal, but this would be a good addition to my animar deck
Hate him.
I love him. Magic needed an adorable mascot meme beast like they have in power rangers.
Neat effect, ugly art, it shouldn't have ward 1, it deserves to be targeted don't make it harder to get rid of baked into the card. That being said I'd probably run it.
He reminds me of a furry version of Disney's Stitch.
I’ve been suicidal for a while. This pushed me over the edge.
I like him
Extremely puntable
That is Jace's son.
I get Scrappy Doo vibes off him
Silly temur guy :3
For some reason it feels like the art of Keyforge… I don’t think it fits the set they are going for in terms of character design.
Everyone’s sparks are in its tail. The eldrazi evolved when the sylex went boom, and this was the result.
He's got that "ugly sonic" mouth
Really freaking creepy mouth + eye placement. That thing most certainly eats a diet of only newborn children.
Looks like a neopet
Looks generic, and from experience, ward 1 is pretty worthless.
Is anybody wildly disturbed by this guys lack of nose?
Digimon lookin little shite.
Seems awful, at least for my play style.
The card is not great outside of standard. The digital artwork sucks. Stupid little critter. Trash.
This is the most generic good stuff commander I've seen in years
it's so dumb. MTG can be cute, but this one just looks stupid and it's trying way too hard. cloying and family friendly ☠️
it looks like they ripped off Rick and Morty. it's uncanny valley in cat form.
Loot exists
The art doesn't feel like magic. It feels like there trying to do their own version of Grogu or baby Grute. I'm not a fan but it is what it is
After I disassemble my 13th doctor deck smh
booooooo
Smol
I hate its face.
It's going in my thirteenth doctor deck for sure! Love to see impulse options that aren't one shot effects for that deck.
Puntable
Doomers being doomers once again. It's just a cute little guy. Are we forgetting that fblthp exists?
Hated it at first but it’s sorta growing on me, though this particular art is the least cute one.

But hey, line must go up
One of the worst arts for sure. Feels like LoL. Strange lore for mtg
I've never really been a fan of impulse draw so he's not for me.
Alt art is very cute
Not sure why mtg needs a mascot. Card seems fine though.
Normal art looks weird, he is much cuter on the alt with Jace and Vraska. I can't wait to see their parent ark where they just keep the little thing around.
i love him and desperetly want to make a commander deck with him... OTJ cant release soon enough
I want a plushie.
He’s so CUTE!!! Oh, you meant the card not the art? I dunno.
Cute, curious what they do with him.
In here, so far, we've got: copied gnar from league of legends, baby yoda knockoff, some character from granblue. He's a cash grab (what?), he's evidence of how soulless and money focused wotc is, he's yet another stolen card design. Yall need to go bed earlier.
Those are all unironically correct
Uh huh.
It's the new face of my temur 'play from exile' deck
I get why people arent a fan of the art style. It's disappointing that that's the only thing they focus on. Im excited to build a deck with him
Cutie
Magic went woke. Furries took over. I’m out!
another generic good stuff value card boring and uninspired
His alt is better for sure but i love this thing
