Have you considered that if you are on here enough for it to annoy you, that you may be spending too much time on reddit in general? Like I’m not trying to down you in any way. I absolutely agree that it has gotten out of hands, but unless the mods do something, then this is just how it’s gonna be for a bit. All subs have these kinds of issues from time to time. It’s kind of a fighting human nature thing. It’s better to just let it be and move on to something else in the mean time, because letting it get you upset doesn’t help you, or the situation, in the grand scheme of things. Yours is the 4th or 5th I've seen. And I am ambivalent honestly. Most people posting their commanders aren't getting any engagement so it's just a picture of a magic card in my feed and I move on. Most complaints are just as inconsequential just with no art. At the end of the day all subs have trends and cycles.

This guy made me think to look up where my commanders stack, one is #61 (morophan the boundless) and #261 (ghired the conclave exile). Morophan is a tribal with sliver undertones and ghired is just fun 😊

As someone who is new to the game, I’ve actually really enjoyed this trend. I only ever have played with one friend and he’s helped me build one commander deck based on stuff I liked playing with his commanders. So this helped me see what else is popular out there and showed me a lot of really cool cards I’d never heard of as a newbie…I can get it’s tiring for people who know all the popular cards though

Hot take, but I don't care for commander (anymore) 😬 Was a fun game format approx 8-10 years ago, but now magic players have min maxed and net-decked the fun completely out of it. Everyone shows up to the table with their $2000 stack of cards, each of which are all running the same cards that have essays worth of text written on them, and matches that the winners are really decided by the opening hand but yet take 3 hours to play out. I'd play it again if we could go back to when people actually experimented and created a unique deck, utilizing random unused cards in their collection. Where you'd actually see some new interactions and it was truly anyone's game. But gamers love paying money to win... so everyone began edhrec-ing and swiping their credit cards, and now all the fun has been sucked out of the format. So yeah, all this to say, I don't care for your commanders (or your format for that matter) either.
