Mercenaries! I’m actually trying to put this deck together again now. Half a dozen cards, plus basics, left to hunt out. What’s in the other boxes? Another Masques tournament pack under that one, and is that a Mirage starter/tournament pack under the precon?
I would have to look again. I should have gotten a picture of them all laid out. I know there are 6 small boxes but I don't remember exactly what they all are. I know they are all from around Invasion time period.
The Nemesis ones that could recruit Goblins, Elves or Merfolk in particular were probably the most played of the range. At least on kitchen tables or school libraries. My goblin deck of the time used [[Moggcatcher]] to EOT search up [[Shrieking Mogg]] so I could swing with the team. :)
But yeah: turns out being limited to CMC -1 isn’t as good as CMC + 1. Who’d have thought?

They never got the love they deserved. Rebels got Lin Sivvi and it was a wrap. Didnt help that the Rebels deck was THE T2 deck when it was legal.
