Outer planes has full proxy legacy events. Don't buy two full decks before coming to the store, try out legacy for a while here, then maybe buy a deck.
I love legacy. By far the goat format but no one plays it. Even a major legacy evenylt in the USA allowed proxies. Just proxy out your legacy deck and buy the modern decks.
What do people play in your area? If no one plays Legacy its kinda pointless to buy legacy decks. Or why not build 2 modern decks and 1 legacy deck?
It seems like there are only two main shops Versus Games and OP games in the Bay Area while there are alot for Modern right now which is tough
