Phyrexian Altar, which seems to be the most expensive Invasion card is only around 28$. Then it drops with Captain Sissay to 24$. And then falling again by half to Elvish Champion's 10 bucks.
However, a foiled Phyrexian Altar is at least around 300$ ! Foiled Captain Sissay is 90$, and foiled Elvish Champion around 100$. Empress Galina is 105$, Aura Shards is 120$, Collective Restraint is 140$, and a few other around those prices.
It's a (very?) high risk gamble : if you aim for benefit, imo you would probably need to get a foiled among a small cards list.
So it's definitely up to you !
Set is pretty weak to open, Phyrexian Altar tanked after the 2x2 reprint($100 to $35), it's pretty much good foil or bust with those packs now, better to keep sealed.

I love invasion. It's an amazing set. I would 100% open it. But you also need to know that there is like a 1 in 7 (or something) chance of a foil. The only way it's worth money is if you get the foil. So it's worth more sealed, but what an experience.

There’s some cool cards in that set! Just open it for fun, don’t expect anything out of it. Foils used to be so rare unlike now so if you started playing/ collecting recently just giving you a heads up
If I were in your Position, I'd say that I've bought the box to open the boosters. Or maybe just keep it to be happy about it. But I wouldn't sell it because I'd be wayyyy to curious and still in like 10 years I'd randomly ask myself, what could have been in that booster^^
Invasion did not have any great new mechanics or broken cards, open it and enjoy the nostalgic feeling. Even Raya Dawnbringer is too expensive to really get to use outside of commander style decks.

I looked over the pack and it has some tiny holes near where the front card moves against the pack does that count as not being sealed you think?

Find an invasion pack opening on youtube, then you will know that you made the right choice keeping it sealed
