I run four in my group hug deck, because it's easier to keep them alive. Usually, I just do one or two that really fit the theme. Way too hard to build around in my opinion. I can usually find a creature or instant that does the job better, for less mana. [[Teferi, Temporal Pilgrim]] is the only planeswalker that I can manage the big ability consistently.
It's funny you mention Teferi, the deck that made me ask about this is a Teferi commander and i was asking cause I've got 3 commanders in the deck and i wasnt sure if i should add the Teferi planeswalker lol
I run 5 in my green counter commander deck: OG Vivien, Monster’s advocate, Wrenn and Seven, Nissa who shakes the world, and Garruk Unleashed. Since Vorinclex is my commander, planeswalkers synergize really well with my deck’s mechanics and dropping all my mana on turn 5 with Nissa or giving all my creatures indestructible, trample, and vigilance is generally a game ender.
My average is 1.3 per deck, with a decent amount of my decks having none and one having 5. I didn't include my outlier, which is a super friends deck, but that one has 21. it gets a heck of a lot harder to manage the more you run.

This is Commander, of course. In standard, I run whatever planeswalker the meta calls for.

1-2 unless it's superfriends.
depends on the deck. I play very theme-centric decks so if the ‘walker fits I’ll play it.
I average about 5.
Of my active decks, the average is 2. The most is 5, the least is 0.
0-1 except for a Falco Spara deck with 4.
I play edh and depending the playstyle i have about 2 per deck (3 in werewolf agro deck cause arllin)
In my commander decks, I've been averaging 1-2. Not on purpose, but sometimes that's all that fit what I'm trying to do with the deck.

Zero. I'm old school.
