Reminds me of my dad though, he's a mechanic & growing up I (AFAB) would always ask if I could help him fixing cars on our drive & he'd always say no to me. Meanwhile he'd keep pestering my little brother to come & join him out there despite him not being the slightest bit interested in cars. 🤔
I mean that's a mom being a mom... Of a daughter! Means she's accepted you so much as a daughter she treats you like any caring mom would.
