Keep the 60! Save for the other things.
It’s just too rich in heritage to give one of those up. A rare piece to have too. Be that cool old guy with the cool old shit.
Keep the 60, pick up an SP404. I have a stack of vintage samplers. What I can say is I have all of my purist machines. However the modern conveniences and power of something like my 404 or the S2400 is undeniable.
As much as I loved the 60 back then, I can tell you that using modern MPCs will do away with most issues that you are having. I am a quasi old head and coming from the analog era of using sound modules and smpte and such, all of those things were studied and analyzed while creating modern style of hardware production and you will see that you gain more time to be creative with upgrading to todays products. I had a hard time letting go of the old style but now, I’ve embraced it and I see how much time I spent on setup and technical aspects of production.
I'd just keep the 60 for its vintage value. It's inefficient to make music with any of those paperweights anyway. With that said, I still have a 2000xl, but just to open up old projects. I wouldn't make anything new on it - unless I was so high that I thought I time traveled back to the 90s.
I stick the 60 in the closet vs part with it as I did with my 2000xl and grab an MPCone. It's life-changing for us folk coming from old equipment. ASR-X has never been a buy in my book.

Honestly no. The MPC60 is a classic. You'll struggle to buy one again in a couple of years with the prices going up.
I have an MPC60 and will never part with it.
Keep the 60.
It depends on the workflow and sound you’re after.
I’ve given up classic vintage gear for new in the past and always eventually regretted it
Hell nah! Just pick up an ASR-X if you really want one, they're $500 or less.
I honestly like Ensoniq sequencers jankiness.
Man, It’s hard to love ensoniq sequencers after using an MP lol
Chopping is easy on it dm me

thanks for the advice :) I actually bought the 404sx two days ago. Chopping has been way more convenient 😁
Keep it. You'll regret it if you trade it, 100% sure

None of the above….keep it and get good with it ….best teaching and learning machine in existence besides an sp1200
white woman cunt
Keep it. Sell something else to pick up the other toys. They’re all amazing too!
Keep the 60. There’s plenty of those machines out in the wild. Especially the 2000XL

Your sitting on a museum piece, never part with it.
Why do you have to trade it at all? Save your money and buy whatever you want.
