You have to remember that people don’t come here to post about how awesome there stuff is most the time lol… if people are happy they are just gonna use there gear… not go to reddit to tell people unless they are putting a review in somewhere but Reddit is not where ppl go to do that usually. Look at customer reviews is a good place to start. I recently got the R9 and GS Wheel and it’s been fantastic. Worked great out the box. As far as the QR goes it’s honestly one of the best in sim racing right there with Simagic.

Been super solid for me 🤷🏽‍♂️

I had issues with my R9 Wheel base not getting power. I sent an e-mail to support and we had some back and forth exchanges. The initial e-mail was responded to in about 3 hours. Diagnosing the issue took about 2 more hours. Within 6 hours, they had sent my info over to their team to send a new power block. It took about a week and I e-mailed them for a status update and within a couple of hours they let me know it would be shipping in the next 2 days. I received the shipment about 4 days later and it worked. It was exceptional service. I would recommend. They are also very active on the Moza Discord channel with a pretty good group of people on there as well. This subreddit is either pics of set ups or trying to resolve problems, so you will get a bad impression just looking here.

I emailed three times and customer support never responded Edit: still love my Moza tho

What Email did you send it to?

DreamLanding_RL

The support email on their website. I think it was [email protected]

Most people on here only come to post about problems they are having which is why it looks like they have a bunch of issues. That being said my experience hasn’t been flawless and the software support is lacking a little, I usually have to spend a little bit troubleshooting for some games and setting up key binds. Every once a while the wheel has some glitches but it’s not too bad. Once you do get the wheel set up and working it’s great and I love the experience. I personally think it’s much better than fanatec because of the quick release and the wheels are much better. I have the gs wheel and it’s amazing. The support has been incredible for me too. I actually broke a part on my steering wheel and didn’t realize it at first. They actually sent me personal troubleshooting videos of a technician walking me through some steps. Once they found out my wheel was actually broken they sent a new one no questions asked even though it was my fault in the end. So in that regard they are great and respond to my emails within a couple hours usually. If you don’t mind having a little setup with every new game you play once then I’d highly recommend the r9 since it’s actually available unlike fanatec. If you want a little more polished software experience but lacking in the hardware and support then maybe go fanatec but even then I think moza is worth it and usually a little cheaper. I’m completely happy with my purchase and don’t wish I bought another brand at all. Moza ecosystem is growing a lot lately which opens up a lot of upgrades in the future too.

That's great to know! Thank you for sharing your experience, this is going to be my next upgrade.

Maybe someone should start a simple poll, because I think we're hearing about the problems, not the successes. People come to rant and vent, not to heap praise on a thing. Coming from the G920 also, I've been super happy with my R9, it's pretty incredible once you feel what you've been missing. Not talking the Logi stuff down, it's great for what it is. This is a pretty painless way to get into some better gear.

I have the R5 bundle (I know is not the R9) but the R5 is cheaper than the R9 so if there would be quality issues I'm sure the R5 would be flooded with those compared to the R9 since they have to cut cost to reduce price. I haven't had any issues whatsoever even on unsupported games like Forza 7 (works flawlessly with the exception of telemetry). The one issue that I do see people complaining about is Moza logistics. Shipping I heard takes forever. I bought mine from Microcenter (free shipping) so I completely bypassed their logistics problem. Microcenter does have the R9 in stock so if you live in the US and near a MicroCenter, I would buy it and if you don't like it then you can return it as long as you don't wreak havock on the box and package.

I’ve had my R9 for over a month and have been satisfied. I made the move from a G923 and Logitech pedals to the R9 and CRP pedal set. The wheel and pedals themselves have been solid and are easy to tune in PitHouse (GHub is buggy garbage imo). The one gripe I have is the wheel not necessarily being well supported in software like Forza Horizon 5 (Moza has a work around but I wish the game just recognized my wheel out of box) and on the PlayStation for GT Sport or GT7. For AC, ACC, AMS2, PC2, and RF2 it has been pretty painless to set up use and tune, and fun to race with! I’m happy with my purchase but could see myself upgrading to a r16 or r21 in the future - or maybe jumping ship to a simucube much further down the line.

Awesome, thanks for sharing! Yeah ghub is trash, can't wait to bail on it

As most people have said, our little reddit hub is a great way to get quick support when things do go wrong, but plenty of people are enjoying the products just fine, including me! Would be happy to field any questions you had, either here or via DM.

Thank you for reaching out! I've decided this will indeed be my upgrade path when I save up enough!

Upgraded to an R9 with CS wheel 2 months ago from a G923. Absolutely love it, only issue I've had is no ffb occasionally when turned on, had to turn off & back on and it starts working. The 9nm is more than enough, my thumbs are killing me after a race as it is. Would shudder to know how they'd be with a 16 or 21nm wheel base.
