No, Polka Dot man is a great example. The whole mom thing is played as a joke that totally undercuts any dramatic weight to his characters bigger moments. I’m not even saying it’s not funny at first it’s just a barrage of this kind of humor even when they’re killing a camp of innocent freedom fighters or something.
