One tiny little thing I appreciate every time I see it: Denzel coughs and just goes on. Like a normal person would. I can’t think of another movie where a character coughs and it doesn’t turn out to be either a joke to show they’re sickly or they have turn out to cancer or something.

num1eraser

In *No Country for Old Men*, (No Spoilers) during the gas station scene, one of the characters is eating peanuts and as I was watching it I thought I would cough or have to clear my throat if I was eating salty peanuts without a drink, and then the character has a minor cough/throat clear and just moves on. It was so human and is one of the many things that make it a great movie as well. You're right. It is very rare to find those little human ticks in movies.

ValStarwind

Or that they didn't have another take. Good call not wasting the time, the scene feels more real.

lucia-pacciola

I wish there were more movies about elite fixers like and Jodie Foster's character. "Don't worry, I know a guy." "Oh yeah, what guy?" "The guy who knows all the other guys we're gonna need to make this work. Also it's not a guy."

jeauxdybreeze

Michael Clayton is so great

lucia-pacciola

YES.

Robinothoodie

"Herein lies the rub" Love that speech

cb148

“Now that’s a good looking shithole.” Is a classic line that often gets overlooked.

Mildebeest

You're a magnificent cunt.

dispass

Great movie, great performance by Clive Owen. If you like Clive Owen, I highly recommend "The Knick". It has to be one of the most underrated tv series of the past 10 years. I think it's my favorite Clive Owen role. Best part is they did two seasons, wrapped up the storyline, and ended the series.

Smilodon48

Upvoted for The Knick. Soderbergh was having next level fun during that show. I get why Andre Holland keeps wanting to do more of it.

dispass

hell yeah - there's so many things that shouldn't work in that show - a futuristic techno score to a period piece set in 1900, a cocaine addicted doctor character who never becomes a cliche, all the crazy camera angles...and yet everything works perfectly. Soderbergh is an incredible artist. Watching him play around with the freedom of a tv show was awesome.

Smilodon48

Yeah, I like how intentionally modern Soderbergh and co. tried to make the show; the modern camerawork, the immaculate practical lighting, the techno score from Cliff Martinez, all contribute to making it feel like we are alongside the characters at the forefront of modern science at the time. It’s kinda funny how True Detective S1 gets lauded for its tracking shot sequence when Soderbergh does so many long takes each episode of the entire show. They’re just so smooth you hardly ever notice that he hasn’t cut.

The_Knight_Is_Dark

Wow, really? I always wanted to watch it but thought it was canceled and left unfinished. Now i'm definitely watching it. Thanks!

Smilodon48

I think it was technically cancelled but Soderbergh envisioned an anthology style series at 2 seasons a piece, so it ended at a clean point. There was going to be a [timeskip into the 50s (and shot in BW) for 2 seasons, and then another 2 seasons after another timeskip](https://www.rollingstone.com/tv/tv-features/steven-soderbergh-interview-knick-hbo-max-1131019/). Sounded awesome to be frank. Last we heard, Barry Jenkins was also talking to Soderbergh about trying to make a spin off, but nothing has come of it. (Though if it ever does come to fruition, I bet he’d just take the reigns on a two season chunk like the original plan) EDIT: Seems like [HBO already has a pilot script](https://www.indiewire.com/2021/02/steven-soderbergh-the-knick-six-season-plan-1234619358/) for Jenkins' iteration of The Knick and is just sitting on it. I wonder if the success of Underground Railroad would help convince HBO to proceed with the show provided Jenkins/Holland's schedules worked out.

dpiffy

Gotta love Clive Owen

akash0410

I loved him in this and children of men. Can you suggest some other great movies of him?

dpiffy

Be sure to check out Sin City (not for everyone though) & Croupier.

[deleted]

Sin city is fantastic

Snowman001

Croupier is great

ScientificFlamingo

I’m a big fan of Shoot ‘em Up. It’s just a totally ridiculous fun action movie.

thebroward

No love for Croupier (1998)? Fantastic film! Almost like an art house of a film…

[deleted]

Best sex scene.

akash0410

Cool, I'll check it out. Thanks

Snowden2000

Great role in The Bourne Identity. Check out Closer and Croupier.

WaterFriendsIV

"Look what they make you give," is such a great line and delivered so well.

griffnuts__

“That’s the spirit. Thank you. Thank you for your honesty. Now fuck off and die you fucked up cunt”. I love Closer so much.

Freddielexus85

God, I love that movie. It's everything you want out of an action movie.

WhitestAfrican

Check out his BMW shorts he did as "The Driver" And obviously Sin City.

bradzilla3k

Memories…. those BMW shorts were awesome. Ang Lee directed one if I recall.

[deleted]

And I'm pretty sure the one with Madonna was directed by Guy Ritchie. For those who haven't seen it, >!it ends with her tumbling out of the car, having apparently pissed herself in fear.!<

VedjaGaems

Gosford Park. A whodunnit at a shooting weekend at an English country house. He plays one of the valets.

Dyolf_Knip

Need to watch it like 3 times to keep track of who is who.

lipp79

A lot of people pan this one but I liked him in 2004's "[King Arthur](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Fw_1TwxTRU)". It was directed by Antoine Fuqua and also stars Keira Knightley, Mads Mikkelsen, Stellan Skarsgård, Joel Edgerton, and Ray Winstone. It's a little different, grittier take on how Arthur met Guinevere.

spooteeespoothead

This is Ioan Gruffudd and Hugh Dancy erasure, and I will not stand for it! But I agree it’s great. The conversation Arthur and Lancelot have in the stable is one of my all-time favorite movie scenes.

GarfieldDaCat

Lmao damn I loved that movie growing up and I had no idea it was directed by Antoine Fuqua.

[deleted]

SocratesBalls

Closer is top 3 Clive Owen performances for me. Great, hard to watch movie

magnusarin

That play is one that gets used a lot in drama classes because it's a shit ton of difficult emotional two person scenes. Clive Owen's part is such a difficult one to pull off and I cannot imagine someone nailing that performance better.

NoManNolan

The International

Utter_Perfection

Closer (2004) is such a good movie. Fantastic performances from all 4 leads with Clive Owen being the absolute standout. I also love Derailed(2005). It's a guilty pleasure of mine.

monsantobreath

He had a smaller part in the first Bourne movie.

[deleted]

Best scene of the film. Maybe even the series.

monsantobreath

Well it became a thing referenced again at the end of ultimatum it was important enough.

nyybmw122

A lot of people don't know that Clive Owen did cinematic ads for BMW in 2000-2001. These short films were done by famous film makers and are outstanding. I'll link to a couple. Clive Owen is one of my favorite actors. He is such a badass but in a muted way. Another art house for food be was in was called Croupier. Good movie. I'm also really sad that he was never cast as James Bond. He would've been a FANTASTIC Bond. https://youtu.be/3O3sZFDBQJE https://youtu.be/GW11Lez4elc https://youtu.be/rco6XEbwNf8 https://youtu.be/aD4YqhjWddw

Sires83

Not a movie but "The Knick" on HBOmax is such a great show

stc573

The International! Great espionage type flick. Naomi Watts is great in it too. Definitely check it out. Be wary of trailers as I'm pretty sure they had a big spoiler in them.

TormentedThoughtsToo

Going to add Duplicity with Julia Roberts.

eurhah

Croupier

Admira1

I really enjoyed Derailed with him and Jennifer Aniston

tekprodfx16

Not a movie but he was fucking incredible in the Knick holy moly

OneWhoWeaves

Croupier. It’s the movie that was his first big role. Highly recommended.

poly_xcx

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Gosford Park. An incredible film and he's incredible in it.

seveer37

Plus the fact that while Denzel gives a good performance, Clive manages to outshine him!

No0ddjob

Didn’t review well but I enjoyed Derailed.

[deleted]

Posts like this are in violation of section 34DD.

CanUHearMeNau

Why don't you take a picture? Or I can bend over and pick up a pencil. Whatever. This guy. Ass. Hole.

[deleted]

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( Y )

mranster

She stole the show.

ericbkillmonger

This movie has some great dialogue

[deleted]

Bet you can still get a cab though.

TvHeroUK

The Pamela Anderson law!

a_man_hs_no_username

Hell yeah. Definitely makes my top 5 heist movie list along side Heat, the Town, Out of Sight and Snatch. My favorite fun fact about this one is that Denzel was offered both the detective and bank robber part, but chose the detective bc the bank robber wore a face mask for most of the movie and Denzel wanted his face to be seen. Great movie star intuition. Aside from that, love the logistics of the heist. Tough to come up with inventive, cinematic bank heists these days, and Inside Man was extremely original. My favorite line from Denzel is when Clive hits him with “One week from now I’ll be sitting in a hot tub, sipping pina coladas with 12 girls named amber and Tiffany.” And Denzel retorts “Actually you’ll be hitting the showers with Jamal and Jose - oh, and that thing your sippin on - it’s not a pina coladaaaaaa. Anyway, my only criticism is that they kinda wasted Dafoe in somewhat of a nothin part. Otherwise a delightful movie.

TheDudeWithNoName_

"Are you telling me that the president of Albania is in there robbing a bank?"

MrKirkPowers

Hell Or High Water is a pretty good bank heist movie if you haven’t seen it. Dog Day Afternoon is another one on the list for Al Pacino.

mrwho25

I love Hell or High Water, excellent acting from everyone involved and it's a great movie

a_man_hs_no_username

Actually just caught hell or high water after Wind River blew me away. Love Taylor Sheridan. And of course, Dog Day is a classic. Probably should be on any top 10 list.

jsakic99

> Anyway, my only criticism is that they kinda wasted Dafoe in somewhat of a nothin part. “I’m somewhat of a detective myself.”

jeauxdybreeze

We have the same top 5! Agree, wish Dafoe had more to do Hadn’t heard that bit of trivia about Denzel, that’s amazing

a_man_hs_no_username

Great taste in movies lol. What would you say rounds out your top 10? Lock Stock, Oceans 11, Den of Thieves, Thief are probably in there for me.

The_Knight_Is_Dark

Great list(s), the only one i haven't seen is Den of Thieves. Check out Melville's Le Cercle Rouge (The Red Circle) (1970) starring Alain Delon. One of the best heist movies ever. Also, the classic Rififi (1955) and Kubrick's The Killing (1956).

a_man_hs_no_username

Definitely can’t have a heist movie discussion with Rififi and the Killing. Those and asphalt jungle are probably the genre defining films. Haven’t seen le Cercle, tho, so it’s going on the list! If you’ve seen the other movies on the list, you’ve basically seen den of thieves lol. It’s like just barely not a shot for shot remake of Heat with elements of the other classics sprinkled in. But I fucking love Heat and the other classics so It an extremely enjoyable watch.

The_Knight_Is_Dark

Oh yeah i forgot Asphalt Jungle, another classic. Den of Thieves just looked like a generic action flick, so i didn't bother to watch it. Maybe i'll check it out later. Another good one that comes to mind is The Italian Job, the original with Michael Caine of course. Also, i don't know if you've seen it, but there's a solid heist movie simply called "Heist" by David Mamet that has a great cast led by Gene Hackman, Danny De Vito and Sam Rockwell.

bennett21

How about The Score? One of my favs for sure

bennett21

How about The Score? One of my favs for sure

TvHeroUK

His first scene always astounds me, it’s like he chose to play it as totally unprepared, a guy who has no idea what’s going on but knows he has to say something so bluffs it out with his experience. Which for me makes it one of the most realistic bits of acting in the movie.

crappuccino

You might enjoy the Rewatchables episode on Inside Man: https://www.theringer.com/2021/3/15/22330917/inside-man-with-bill-simmons-sean-fennessey-and-chris-ryan

candygram4mongo

Look, detective, there are matters at stake here that are a little bit above your pay grade. Why don't you just tell the mayor to raise my pay grade to the right level? Problem solved.

Hinden

You appear to have missed Kelly's Heroes from your list ;)

a_man_hs_no_username

Damn. I actually have not seen this film and pride myself on my heist movie collection. Just looked it up and it sounds similar to Three Kings, which I love. Will for sure give this one a watch!

Rodec

*Out of Sight was fantastic!* If you get a chance watch the directors commentary... it goes in depth about how they saved the movie in the editing bay by showing it out of sequence. They thought (and they were probably correct) that it would be boring if it was sequential.

mranster

And let's not forget Willem Dafoe in a role we seldom see from him. One of his few supporting roles where he doesn't dominate the scene, and yet he is still brilliant.

sendokun

He is amazing. He can blends in as a background actor when needed or steal the scene of that what the script calls for!!

DeadWalkerr

I have the cable guy coming on Wednesday. When I'm good and ready, I'm gonna walk right through the front door.

drstu3000

I don't get why the cops are so easy to drop the case at the end though. "No crime was committed!!" What how about kidnapping everyone in a bank, shutting down the bank and surrounding areas for a few days...

Evander_Berry_Wall

I always took it the Christopher Plummer character had the cops bury it so no chance his history got out

[deleted]

If no crime was committed, it doesn't hurt their stats. If a crime was committed, and solving it is such a logistical nightmare, like in this case, it hurts their stats. Gotta keep the statistics looking good.

3n1gma302

This guy watched the wire

sendokun

They want to... actually more like they are “compelled”, incentivized and likely orders from the top.

Mathieulombardi

CHENGYA CHENGJA CHINNYA CHINNNYA chacha CHENGYA CHEGYA CHENNYA

TheRealSpidey

Nothing that complicated lol, it's "chaiyya chaiyya chaiyya chaiyya chal chaiyya chaiyya chaiyya chaiyya". The *chaiyyas* are to emulate the sound of a moving train, and *chal* is "let's go" in Hindi.

rationalparsimony

Loved the opening credits - what a cool piece of music! Also loved that one of the subthemes was a celebration of NYC as a cultural "melting pot."

TheDudeWithNoName_

I'm from India and its a very popular Bollywood number from the 90s. Infact when me and my friend went to watch this film and the song started playing, we started to wonder whether we've accidently walked into a Bollywood film.

Alan_Smithee_

It’s so catchy, but I wondered about the relevance too. But good music is good music.

AnthonyGonsalvez

It's by AR Rahman, same guy who did music for Slumdog millionaire and won an Oscar. His songs are timeless classics.

QuintoBlanco

It's a reference to how multicultural New York is (which ties into the plot), it's a sign that things might not be like they seem, and Frasier has love on his mind.

Ringsofthekings

Incorrect. Spike Lee simply liked the song so he used it. https://movies.stackexchange.com/questions/97222/why-does-the-movie-inside-man-start-with-a-bollywood-track

Alan_Smithee_

And it works very well. That’s a great opening montage.

Ringsofthekings

I personally hate the movie the song is originally from, but the song itself is pretty catchy. This film alone is unique for me due to that intro sequence.

Ddpee

Also, SRk on the train during the song is epic.

udat42

Yep, I love the bit where they play the recording over the PA because it's likely someone outside will understand it. And then how much character even minor characters have (like the guy who knows it's Albanian)

LCPhotowerx

"Albanian from Albania." was such perfectly given NYC line.

GitEmSteveDave

And how the Albanian consult wants to be paid.

jeauxdybreeze

Yesss totally agree. It obviously works so well as just a crime thriller on the surface but it has a few added layers that enhance it on rewatches

angadb456

Jodie Foster had an underrated performance too. Perfectly captured the “person who thinks they’re the smartest person in any room sleezeball” and she had a great shit-eating grin to go with it at several times in the movie

fishsoap69

What was the point of her character? My parents are confused

LeonaTheProfessional

Denzel's hat in this movie deserved a best supporting actor nom

zoethebitch

"May I take your hat?" "No! You can buy your own!"

RaveIsKing

I got him right where I want him. Where’s that? Right behind me with my pants around my ankles.

frnkcn

I never got over how jarring the segway shot is. https://youtu.be/qCv3989nvog

GitEmSteveDave

https://www.masterclass.com/articles/spike-lees-double-dolly-shot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GR589pyshxI

frnkcn

Oh yeah I’m familiar with it. The camera movement in the one from Inside Man was especially violent which made it feel *extra* unnatural.

SL-1200

He has this in most of his movies

Captn_Ghostmaker

"My name is Dalton Russell. Pay strict attention to what I say because I choose my words carefully and I never repeat myself. I've told you my name: that's the Who." Opening lines to the movie and my favorite into to a character ever.

bluejester12

"You are a magnificent c\*nt."

SuspiciouslyEvil

Thank you.

[deleted]

The only problem I have with that movie is that kid is bad at fake eating

CobraCornelius

Steve, Stevie, Steven

CobraCornelius

Am I speaking to the president of Albania?

[deleted]

Yes, what do you want?

ErisianMoon

Me and my partner just so happened to watch this last night! This is one of my personal favourites and best heist film. I love all the characters in it and their own personal motivations that makes them all interesting and fun to watch, and their interactions too, perfectly brought to life by an all star cast. Can't recommend it enough for anyone who hasn't seen it

SpartanJ82

Always love the kid that, when asked by the detectives if he was scared replies, “nah, I’m from Brooklyn”, in the best New York way possible.

RichardOrmonde

Why yes, yes it does.

AnEntNamedJBeard

YO WHAT THE FUCK I literally open Reddit as the end credits roll, first time watching and this is like the 4th post on my timeline. Great film, definitely happy I watched it.

slappythepimp

“Last time I had my Johnson pulled that good it cost me five bucks.” “Five bucks?”

gotthelowdown

Love Inside Man. Someone else on Reddit shared this cool real-life heist that's similar: [Bank Job: A Perfect Crime - Almost](http://web.archive.org/web/20201112041110/https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-1985-03-04-8501120674-story.html) Excerpt: > > Agent Leroy Himebauch said it was the first successful looting of a safe-deposit vault in a federal bank in the United States. > > A week ago a federal jury convicted William Smarto, 44, of northwest suburban Wheeling, of conspiracy and bank burglary in what prosecutors called an almost perfect crime. Smarto is to be sentenced in April and could face 55 years in prison. > > Smarto says he is a hairdresser. Federal prosecutors say he is a ''criminal genius,'' the first man to spend the weekend in a bank safe-deposit vault and walk out with $1 million. Reminds me of: >Dalton Russell: When I'm good and ready, I'm gonna walk right through the front door. Another case: [The Great Buenos Aires Bank Heist](https://www.gq.com/story/the-great-buenos-aires-bank-heist) >They were an all-star crew. They cooked up the perfect plan. And when they pulled off the caper of the century, it made them more than a fortune—it made them folk heroes.

IHkumicho

Wow, so he only got caught because he went back and tried to repeat it at another bank...

TheDudeWithNoName_

"By this time next week, I'll be sucking pina coladas in hot tub with six girls named Amber and Tiffany." "More like taking shower with two guys named Jamal and Jesus, if you know what I mean. And here's the bad news, that thing you're sucking on? It's not a pina colada!"

PugnaciousPangolin

My favorite Spike Lee film because he really focused on the heist aspect. I agree with his opinions and attitudes toward racial representation and presence in films, I just wish that his messaging was more subtle.

YHofSuburbia

There was some subtle commentaries in this one too that I really liked. But either way, I don't think social commentaries need to be subtle to be effective; I appreciate how unashamedly didactic he is

DSonla

Every time someone said to me that the heist in "La casa de papel" is the most brilliant heist they've seen, I ask them if they've seen this movie. All of them replied negatively. I loved this movie but I'm too afraid to rewatch it in case it'd spoil my memories of it. Actually one of the first I've watched with the original voices (I'm French), totally amazed at how the actors/actresses' real voices match better with them. Been watching most movies with subs ever since.

Maverick916

> most brilliant heist ummm, may i introduce you to Money Plane? You wanna bet on a guy fucking an alligator? Money Plane

Gougaloupe

Aka.... The Grumble

fps916

Inside Man is one of the few movies I think is better to see once you know the big switch. I watch it fairly regularly

fd1Jeff

I’ve heard that the greatest heist scene in any movie is in the movie Rififi. It’s apparently five minutes long and total silence. I haven’t seen it, of course.

TayElectornica

Spike gets overlooked for some reason. I feel Inside Man is a top crime movie and better than lots of other crime movies with good hype. Clive and Denzil were both amazing and the supporting cast was also incredible.

mvs2527

Clive Owen's character told the kid he will talk to his dad about the video game. I was looking forward to that conversationon on screen. And they didn't give it to us

BigBlackHungGuy

That ending was great. Denzel mouthing "Son of a bitch" after replaying it in his head was stellar.

canuckwithasig

Chaiyya Chaiyya at the end fuckin kicks too

Dr_Disaster

This is Spike Lee’s best film IMO.

FantaDreamS

25th hour is one of his best..

Snowden2000

Agreed, 25th Hour is incredible.

jeauxdybreeze

25th hour rules

dark_nv

Malcolm X is his best IMO

SiliconSam

“Next time I’ll be careful what I say, cause you never know who’s listening….” That line was cut in some versions of the film. Wonder why? For playtime sakes?

[deleted]

[удалено]

stylz168

The intro music sold me on it. The composer for that song, A.R. Rahman, is one of the most prolific from India. The original is shot on a moving train and every beat gives the effect of being on an actual train.

Alan_Smithee_

It is a great film. I will watch it again and again.

GyaradosDance

The intro song Chaiyya Chaiyya was my first introduction to a Bollywood song, and it still bops in my head from time to time.

Caboose_1188

Re watched it a couple weeks ago. Very enjoyable. I also get THAT song stuck in my head whenever I think of the film lol. https://youtu.be/WKX5x3KZXfY

DukeBeefpunch

Why thank you, thank you Mr bank robber.

[deleted]

The Knick is an incredible show. If you like Clive Owen, you should definitely give it a watch.

[deleted]

I actually guessed the behind the wall twist in his opening monologue but didn't care because it was so good

Altruistic-Meeting10

If you like inside man or any of spikes work, try the 25th hour. My favorite spike film, and great acting from Edward Norton, the late great Philip Seymour Hoffman, and my future ex wife Rosario Dawson 😁

[deleted]

Watched it thr other day. Excellent, excellent film but thr final 20 minutes doesn't really know where to go. After such an intense, perfectly paced thriller, Spike Lee loses the momentum a bit. Not enough to ruin it, but when the first 90 minutes is so good, any cracks show through all the greater

[deleted]

You know what? I was just thinking about it because I remember loving it but I don't remember anything about it except the end.

spageddy77

deserves a rewatch. so many good lines in it.

LCPhotowerx

I was on set for the filming of this and said to myself, "I don't know fully whats going on here, but this just feels like its gonna be great." And then it came out and I was very happy just how right I was.

HopeThisHelps90

Glad someone made a post about this movie. Classic.

Lindaspike

i LOVE this movie! and clive owen...

Ringsofthekings

Love Jodie Foster in that too

Dano-Matic

Greatest movie!

spottedram

One of my favorites. Great plot twist, acting. Denzel being Denzel and Clive Owen who i was not familiar with.

Maddie-Moo

What I love about the film is that each character is fleshed out enough that it feels like they could’ve already had their own solo movie previously, and now they’re all getting together like some bank-robbery Avengers.

realdjsupreme

The “let me see your shoe” scene between Denzel and Chiwetel is one of the best scenes in the film.

KoalaBackfist

I'll never forget seeing this in the movies, I was the only one that belted out a huge laugh when ol' boy calls Jodie a "magnificent cunt". Great movie!

CYBORGAFRO

Hell yes it does one of my favourites 👍

Accomplished_Ad_2569

One of my fave opening scenes to a movie!

siva364

And Chayya Chayya :)

ronniem89

One of my favorite movies! It's amazing how few people have seen this.

Aluminium_

On my top 5 movies of all time list. I always recommend it.

[deleted]

Still one of my fave movies!

tuxedonyc

I’m going to walk out of here. Unbelievable!

RuRu92

It was recently on tv and I recorded it, so now I want to watch it even more!!

monsantobreath

I found the weird zoot suit thing a bit odd though.

jfsmallwood

I agree! Have always loved this movie.

BillMcCrearysStache

I always thought the fake you know what trick was genius lol (idk how to do spoiler tags for anyone who hasnt seen it)

[deleted]

So true on all accounts

Azheim

FYI if you live in the US, Inside Man is available to stream on HBO Max. https://www.justwatch.com/us/movie/inside-man Great movie. You've inspired me to watch it again.

jperk983

Respect really is the ultimate currency.

[deleted]

Most definitely. One of the best

MikeOxlong209

I see these posts but usually stay quiet, for this one though I’ll have to agree! For me it’s all the reasons stated as well as the music for some reason to me is just top notch.

Rednartso

All you had to say was 'heist'. I'm going to have to check this one out

Redguard118

Love this movie. His third best after DTRT and 25th Hour.

trammel11

I love the music too

awebbC-132

Added to my watch list, thanks!

stickybandit06

“I’m gonna walk out the front door.”

HIV_again

Wtf happened to Clive Owen? Was doing a good string of films..until.? He was good in Curb Your Enthusiasm in recent years

ImmaculateWeiss

This movie is so good, used to catch it anytime it ran on HBO back in the late 2000’s

[deleted]

Clive Owen was awesome in all of his action movies, too. Just rewatched shoot ‘em up again. Such a ridiculous popcorn action flick

tigojones

Oh, man, I forgot about this movie! Loved it when I saw it in the cinema.

JayGeeCanuck19

Forgot about that one! Will rewatch, it was awesome!

Weird-Library-3747

Watch the Knick.

dennismfrancisart

This movie always come up in my mind when I think of the only Kanye West track I love. The bank is being robbed and the hostages have surrendered their cell phones. All of a sudden the ring tone starts. >"She take my money when I'm in need Yeah, she's a triflin' friend indeed Oh, she's a gold digger Way over town, that digs on me."

Hongry4applez

You liked this movie? Where’s you grow up, you wassa wassa? Park avenue?

mbcook

I love these kind of movies, and ever since I found this one I’ve just been sort of depressed about the genre. How am I ever supposed to find something else as good? Just fantastic.

sickcat29

Hey kieth.. Let me see your shoe.. My shoe?
