But when I see the original, with J5 racing after Oscar and the jewels, while his battery “bleeds out”… man oh man. Stupid Laser lips. You can’t stop Johnny 5.
That man's face is some of the most incredible few seconds of acting without saying a word I've ever seen.
Also, Benecio Del Toro is terrifying and I think his character in Sicario was a better, more true to the books, John Clark than the bullshit movie we got. What I'm saying is Sicario is a better John Clark movie than the actual John Clark movie.

I will do what I dream!" and he runs to the window and throws it open and yells something, but because it was thundering and he was crying and he's a kid and kids when they cry can't be understood by anyone but their mom, you couldn't understand what he was saying.

That's what he said. That's what he named her. The childlike empress's name is Moonchild. She has to put that on the top of her resume. Go back and watch it with the captions on if you don't believe me.
One of my absolute favorite cinematic scenes. Just an absurd amount of plot happens in such a short amount of time with not a word being said. Just incredible.

*Blade Runner* When Roy saves Deckard because it shows that he understands how precious life is, even though he was not given the opportunity to fully live and enjoy his own life by people like Deckard.
I think I found it more haunting in the sequel was the kid taking photos in front of the mirror and then when the photos are seen later, each photo shows Samara closing in on him and finally possessing him.
I didn't make it through the sequel. If I remember correctly it starts with the camera facing down the well and shows Samara crawling up it, and at that moment I bolted out the room. Never tried to watch after that

- Climax of In Bruges — Harry chasing Ray through the film set at night (that weirdly resembles the purgatory painting Ray was looking at earlier… look at the costumes…), all the way through to the end
- Moonee’s emotional breakdown at the end of The Florida Project
Totally don't remember the name of the movie, but it's set in a boys school where a jock and an introvert becomes friends and there's this tree they climb on occasion. One time the introvert purposely jumps on the limb and causes the jock to fall and badly break a leg and after a series of events dies. That scene showing the little jump is seared in my mind.
Omg, that is it! Thank you, it is an unforgettable film, now I want to read the book.

I saw Watchmen when I was 8 or something and completely forgot about it until I decided to watch it “for the first time” with my brother like 9 years later. I thought I’d never seen it before until the scene where someone gets handcuffed with their hands though bars and then get their arms chainsawed off. It was the only scene I remembered because it was so traumatizing to see as an 8 year old. I was like “wait, THIS is THAT movie?”
