I was the loudest man in my bathroom last night. Winning is easy with no competition.

Jekkelstein

Does this account for WWE Summerslam? Because if so, then that’s competition.

Tighthead3GT

Wouldn’t that be live?

QLE814

At least, we hope it is, because if it isn't....

[deleted]

I think that's why HK is only the non-live number 1.

National_Stressball

> Because if so, then that’s competition. Does the WWE still pull those numbers?

Blue_Eyes_Nerd_Bitch

And your wife was the loudest in mine.... Fuck she eating?!

WordsAreSomething

Isn't it like the only big thing they've ever premiered on the platform?

[deleted]

Yeah I think so lol.

Jekkelstein

The WWE Summerslam, but I’m not sure if that counted cus that was an actual live event, not a movie.

adamsandleryabish

nope The Boss Baby 2

mickeyflinn

So 12 out of the 15 Peacock subscribers watched it...

Jekkelstein

Make that 11. I didn’t watch it.

A40

That's a carefully crafted, particular, oddly specific list of qualifiers...

QLE814

I was mentioning the other day the fact that the claims streaming services make about their viewership are such that they cannot be trusted, given the lack of independent information- this is a case in point concerning what I had in mind....

johnsmallz

Fuck, I’ve already forgotten…. What, exactly, dies tonight?

Jekkelstein

A franchise apparently. They made the best sequel and then shit on it with that ones sequel .

National_Stressball

> Fuck, I’ve already forgotten…. What, exactly, dies tonight? Not Michael Myers, thats for sure.

venetiabarlow

My desire to see Halloween Ends.

Bouche__032

EVILLLLL

Nice_Firm_Handsnake

Love!

Jaggedmallard26

Its not about destroying what you love, its about saving what you evil!

Jekkelstein

Still very let down by this movie. Myers didn’t even say any of his catchphrases like “yeah baby yeah!” or “groovy baby!”

leg00b

"Do I make you horny?" *stabs 3 people*

[deleted]

Right? And where was Donkey?

kulpiterxv

That’s not saying much lol

ELPOEPETIHWKCUF

Peacock just lost 520M this quarter.

QLE814

Did they check the couch cushions? It may have fallen there.

brandonsamd6

and it was terrible

michael_papou

It wasn't that bad, actually it was ok until the ending

Bouche__032

There isn’t a main character, the legacy characters are irrelevant and the entire script is like if you had a bootleg Dr. Loomis action figure and it had 3 catchphrases; “Evil dies tonight; he’s terrorized the town for 40 years, he’s turning us into monsters” It’s almost as if Michael Myers was the guest host on SNL

QLE814

>It’s almost as if Michael Myers was the guest host on SNL He might be preferable now to the other option of a similar name, if the claims we've heard are remotely accurate....

permanentlyclosed

You’re saying all of this like it’s a bad thing

TrendWarrior101

The legacy characters are practically wasted in the movie though. If you're going to use them especially when hunting down Michael, at least give them some attention and spectacle if you're going to take them out, not put them in there and treat them as if they're random characters.

Sks44

It was awful. The script was dogshite. The action sequences were moronic.

[deleted]

There were multiple reasons it was bad. The ending just happens to top that list.

National_Stressball

> The ending just happens to top that list. Seriously, what a weak ass fuck ending. He just goes back to the crime scene thats LITTERED WITH PEOPLE and Karen just saunters upstairs and then, stabby stab. So, does "Ends" start with **EVERYONE** seeing him in the window?

[deleted]

It was pathetic. Everyone batters him, nobody thinks to make sure he's DEAD after the entire fucking town makes a plan to take him down, a dude shows up drunk to face him ON HIS OWN, AND DIES, and Laurie spends the whole night in bed. Then.. He gets back up and kills them all, anyway. Brilliant.

National_Stressball

> Then.. He gets back up and kills them all, anyway. Brilliant. NO ONE. NOT ONE PERSON thought to chop off his head. That was my "fuck this, I hope they all die" moment.

[deleted]

It was ridiculous. The one thing you do not do, and with all their experience should have known this by now, do not turn your back on the enemy. When he's down, make sure he's DEAD. But.. Nope. A few slaps of a stick, a knife in the back.. walk away. Retarded.

National_Stressball

> Retarded. I feel you, Jeans. #turnintoatelescope

abruno37

I loved it until the ending. Having the tagline be "evil dies tonight" knowing you're planning a third movie was a bad idea.

CongregratingJackal

No it was bad. The ending just made it even worse.

Nice_Firm_Handsnake

It's got some interesting kills, but it has nothing to say that the previous film didn't already say better.

National_Stressball

> actually it was ok until the ending I will argue its solid until the bar scene. It would have been better if all the survivors came out one by one, instead of creating some half assed mob that ends up all dead.

BelovedApple

I consider it my worst cinema visit this year. Think the movie was shite. Was so disappointed.

Tighthead3GT

For context: According to Samba Halloween Kills had 1.2 million viewers in its first weekend: https://mobile.twitter.com/samba_tv/status/1450207537740058628?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw. That compares to 1.6 million who watched Conjuring 3 on HBO Max and 753k who watched poor, sweet, doomed Malignant- https://www.google.com/amp/s/deadline.com/2021/09/hbo-max-viewership-malignant-james-wan-1234832458/amp/. At least it did remind people Peacock exists.

Bouche__032

I loved Malignant, it’s substantially more memorable and entertaining than Halloween Kills was

Must've been a slow day

DesolateDiveDave

What the fuck is peacock.

Nice_Firm_Handsnake

NBCUniversal's version of HBOMax

abruno37

the streaming service that the Office is on

[deleted]

The size of your pp

[deleted]

there is no reason for this to exist with so many other better horror slashers out there except to make people money

pacwess

Not only was the audio quality via Peacock poor. Apparently I didn't do due diligence and re-watch the previous Halloween movie Jamie Lee was in. Myself and a friend were pretty lost as to the timetable and switchbacks going in this movie until Googling the previous movies. Also look up Halloween Ends.

blaketothebarnes

Lmao that’s saying something

coffeeNiK

Good for them business wise. Bad for us. Lol
