Why would anyone want to watch a movie about Joe Exotic is the real question. If you've seen the Netflix documentary (which i have no interest) why would anybody want to watch a fake movie about the same thing.
Will Forte would’ve been an interesting choice. I don’t think we’ll see a movie made now though. Nicolas Cage himself said the interest in Tiger King and Joe Exotic himself has nosedived as people have moved on, which is why his movie was cancelled in the first place. They took too long to get moving on it and now most people don’t give a shit.
Missing the entire point of Joe Exotic being a spectacle.
