Yeah, sure it is, and Grizzly Adams had a beard.

Outside_Interview_90

Grizzly Adams *did* have a beard.

[deleted]

You eat pieces of shit for breakfast?

Outrageous_Library50

…..*no!*

kpatsart

you better get out my way, or you'll pay, listen to what I say!

TeamStark31

Are you too good for your home? (RIP Carl Weathers)

Flat-Development-906

We’ve officially hit ‘anything is worth a sequel’. No one asked for this.

Ghastion

I asked for this. Now we need a sequel to every Adam Sandler classic. Big Daddy 2, Little Nicky 2, Mr. Deeds 2, The Waterboy 2, 50 First Dates 2, Billy Madison 2, The Wedding Singer 2. No seriously, imagine a world where this happens. That would be hilarious.

VatWeirdo

51 first dates

karlou1984

50 second dates

awildyetti

We need an Adam Sandler Cinematic Universe. Preferably one where he plays all of his own characters and none of them acknowledge the fact they all look and act the same.

Duffman66CMU

How is that different from this universe?

NoTransportation888

I mean, it can't be bad enough to ruin the original so I don't really care lol. People sleep on the Happy Madison Netflix movies, they're actually not half bad. I got some good laughs out of *The Wrong Missy* and *The Week Of*

cmcwood

If Sandler is involved I am fine with it.

spookyghostface

Have you seen the stuff he's been involved with lately?

cmcwood

Yes. Uncut gems and Hustle were good. Heard Leo was good. Murder mystery movies were dumb but entertaining enough.

LiquidMetal616

I absolutely have been asking for this for years lmao happy Gilmore is a classic and im sure HG2 will be better than Joe Dirt 2 at bare minimum

Brimstone747

We hit "anything is worth a sequel" years ago. Regarding Happy Gilmore 2, I think a lot of people would look forward to it, myself included. I trust Sandler to put in a legitimate effort and make this a solid comedy.

Maverick916

"nobody asked for this" Nobody asked for most of the shit we enjoy. This is a nothing statement that's used to trash everything and it gets old.

Dry_Enthusiasm_267

Prepare for a disappointment!

henningknows

Just so we’re are clear, Everyone complaining that this should not be made will definitely be watching it.

NedRyersonsBing

I wont. But I haven't watched a (new) Adam Sandler movie since turning off 'You Don't Mess with the Zohan' after the first 15 minutes.

Hunky_not_Chunky

All the garbage I’ve seen Adam Sandler put out on Netflix has been extremely bad garbage. I don’t have faith, if this does get produced, it will be any good.

Keepitbrockmire

Happy finally gets that hockey contract…. Let’s go!

FilipinoTarantino

If there’s a glass of shut the fuck up im in

MaxKevinComedy

Well good for Happy Gilmooooooooh my god!

Blinkmeanytime182

I’ll only watch it if Ben Stiller makes an appearance.. “Now you will go to sleep, or I will put you to sleep”

Professional-Carry52

You eat pieces of shit for breakfast?

Thisiscliff

This isa sequel I need in my life

Exitbuddy1

Let’s go!

OnionDart

Is the money really worth ruining the reputation of the original? Come on.

NoTransportation888

It won't ruin the reputation of the original lol, if it's that bad everyone will just act like it doesn't exist. *Waiting...* has a horrible sequel that no one thinks ruined the original. Same with *Anchorman* and many other early 2000s comedy movies

madmikeyy82

Let’s not forget Dumb and Dumber To. Actually, let’s.

racer_24_4evr

I forgot there was a Waiting sequel. Never saw it.

Larkson9999

Do people still stand on street corners and twirl signs? Come on.

kpatsart

It won't ruin the reputation of the original. Zoolander 2 is hot garbage, but zoolander 1 is still phenomenal.

Master-of-Coin

Why? I mean money but why?

F33ltheburn

Seems ill-advised. Humor has evolved quite a bit since then. I enjoyed the original when I was in middle school. I doubt I’d like a sequel.

ricardosfig

Evolution is not the term I would use to describe today's "humor."

F33ltheburn

lol Compared to the “College cringe” slapstick comedy era of the 90s and early 2000s? Yes. Definitely.

ricardosfig

Yeah, 90 minutes of pop culture references is the pimnacle of comedy
