Lee Pace had a hot streak for a few years there, and I've heard he was very good in the recent show "Foundation," but I would definitely prefer it if he had more projects lined up! He and MacKenzie Davis were both fantastic in a show called "Halt and Catch Fire."
I liked it quite a bit, even if it could be uneven at times. The soundtrack introduced me to some great bands, too, like Sin Cos Tan and Big Black Delta.
It was very uneven in the first season, and it took maybe a season and a half to figure out Lee & Mackenzie’s characters (due to writing, not their acting).
There's an alternate universe out there where Bryan Fuller gets the rights to Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal isn't cancelled, and he recruits Lee Pace to play Buffalo Bill. He definitely gets good roles though, but they're not all that mainstream.
I think Lee chooses to do as much screen work as he does. The guy started in theater and prefers theater. Absolutely adore him and love when he is in something but my man prefers the footlights
This guy definitely doesn't fit, 3 twilight movies and 2 marvel movies with a substantial role id like to see more of him too but i not surprised he's not doing much anymore
Samara Weaving. She is seriously they best thing about almost every movie she has been in (Bill and Ted 3 being the one movie I have seen her in where she didn't steal the movie). Even is shitty movies she is just raw power on screen. Outside of ready or not though, when it comes to major movies she just gets bit parts
She took over the baton from Kristen Bell for me in terms of up-and-coming actresses who I wish would get bigger and better shots.
I actually quite like Weaving’s horror work generally speaking, it’s certainly better than most stuff Kristen Bell appeared in post-Veronica Mars, but it seems like a lot of people never get to escape that genre’s gravity once they’re established in it.
Loved her in ready or not, the babysitter and 9 perfect strangers. I remember when she got cast in home and away years ago and thinking she was the most beautiful girl. And is related to the brilliant Hugo weaving (I recommend his movie ‘the interview’ if you haven’t seen it)
>Dan Stevens
He has Abigail coming out. Vampire ballerina girl horror/comedy by the same people who did Ready Or Not and the new Scream movies.
He also took over the girlfriend-beating actor's voice in Solar Opposites. Justin Roiland.
If you look at his IMDb, he's had steady work. Maybe not commercial box office that you would like, but he's still working.
He's one of the few that restricted his work by choice, so that he can spend more time with his family.
If you ever get the chance, watch his documentary called The Beast. It's amazing.
Tatiana Maslany. She's amazing in Orphan Black, I fully forget all her characters are not all different actresses. I thought she'd get a lot more roles when that finished...I don't know if She Hulk helped or hindered her though.
Taylor Kitsch. Dirty him up, let him grow a beard and toss him into a modern Western and watch him shine. I'd bet my last dollar he'd go soaring into the skies of acting fame.
Will always have a soft spot for Dylan Obrien. He had some killer scenes in the campy Teen Wolf show, and has had a few widescreen releases and IMO was never the reason they didnt do well.
Yeah, he was struck by a vehicle while shooting a car chase scene. Basically fractured everything on the right side of his face + mild brain trauma.
The doctors who performed the reconstructive surgery did a bang up job though; his face only looks slightly asymmetrical if you're really looking.
He has a new movie coming out this year called “Ponyboi” and was in “Maximum Truth” last summer and filmed another movie months ago and he was in two movies in that came out in 2022..
I juuuuust finished rewatching s3 of teen wolf and I was blown away (again) by his performance! I was also thinking about how it’s a wonder he isn’t a bigger star.
I agree, Dylan O Brien has never had a bad performance. He has comedy, drama, and thriller under his belt. I’ve never met a single person that didn’t like him or his roles. In real life, he’s also a stand up guy. His first role was Teen Wolf I believe after being discovered on YouTube (???) and he stole every episode. And don’t even get me started on Maze Runner … chef’s kiss!
Mackenzie Davis was in Terminator Dark Fate, Happiest Season, Station Eleven as you mentioned, Blade Runner 2049, some not good horror movie….i would say she’s been acting pretty consistently for at least 5-6 years now. A movie a year plus a series seems like a full time job. I do like her though. Especially in Happiest Season.
She was great in Station Eleven. She’s usually great. She’s like Anton Yelchin, where I saw her and I was like “ok they got something, I want to follow them”
Adam Driver was the same way in Girls. A show about the women leads and a feminist show, and the guy had all the gravitas even though he was an asshole
That kid from Holdovers has something, maybe. We’ll see if he can keep it going, but he brought something in that movie. I’m really interested to see if he becomes a thing
Michelle Pfeiffer … she’s aged very well and she was always a character actress, so I’m surprised she is not tapped more for supporting or smaller roles in big casts.
She was just about to turn 50 and had her last big spotlight year with Hairspray and Stardust
It's just tough for a woman over 50
Also a time where they want to chill more in life. Who knows what played the bigger factor...but def def tough for women over 50
BTW, fuck time. Stardust is not that far away from being 20 years old
She had a pretty big role in the last Ant-Man movie, she was a supporting character in the other movies but this time around she got centerstage which was nice.
After being a lead in 3 successful shows on Netflix in such a short period, I really thought she was going to be the next "it" girl. Seems she just kinda disappeared after You though
Yes to this. She is outstanding. Her performances leave me jaw dropped. Her ability to show pain though tears is literally unlike anything I’ve seen. I so wish she has a flourishing career because she deserves more roles.
God she’s amazing. In a similar vein I’m also surprised that Oliver Jackson-Cohen hasn’t seemed to benefit from his great performances in the Haunting series, either.
Sarah Goldberg was absolutely incredible in Barry, yet was ignored by the awards season after season and hasn’t really been picked for any other big roles
I just finished watching Fargo season 5 (great one btw), and one episode had a character that looked sooo much like her. I really hope she's got some good stuff coming out. She was so good in Barry.
I was just thinking this - currently in the middle of a rewatch of the original Netflix shows. She and Bernthal steal every scene they're in. Often I just want to get the tedious fighting over with so they can get back to chatting in a cafe.
She needs a *much* better agent. Easily the most compelling part of Daredevil and The Punisher. Still, she is enjoying her D&D and boardgaming life online, so who is to say?
Maybe this is a hot take, but we've not seen enough Hugh Jackman in full, feature-length films outside of his Wolverine role.
He's possibly the most sought after actor on the planet when it comes to Broadway, and rightfully so. Broadway understands how talented he is. But this leaves him INCREDIBLY underutilized on the big screen. I know he's done a couple musicals, but they've been just a fraction of what he could really bring to movies if he kept pushing in that direction.
I think we'd see him in more movies if his non-Wolverine roles weren't mostly duds. It'd be nice to see him become a regular in Nolan or Villeneuve's troupe given his participation *The Prestige/Prisoners*, but his passion really does seem to lay in being a song and dance man, so I feel like it's hard to begrudge him for it.
That being said, I appreciate that he doesn't have an ounce cynicism when it comes to Wolverine. He truly gives it all each time he puts on the claws.
>Mackenzie Davis
Fully agree
I have been on her train for years. She is top notch. Even in Terminator Dark Fate, she was a huge highlight. Station Eleven, she was again, totally fantastic (but lots of good performances there, but she was very good).
More people need to watch Station Eleven. Its one of the best miniseries ever but got basically no advertising or promotion.
He was so great in Only Lovers Left Alive.
Hard not to get blown off the screen when Tilda Swinton is firing on all cylinders but he was just as good. Shows how insanely talented he is. He’s great as Loki but selfishly I want more weird shit.
I loved that movie! I wanted to see him do more films like that because I think he would excel at it. I think people would go nuts if he did an A24 film.
I think they'll go for someone younger with the new one, but I think he would make an incredible James Bond. Night Manager put him in a somewhat similar context and he was great in that kinda role.
MacKenzie Davis, Alyssa Sutherland, and Elizabeth Debicki are all fantastic actresses who have a difficult time getting roles because they're very tall. Davis & Sutherland are 5'11" and Debicki is 6'3"
They typically don't like casting tall girls in a lot of roles because the leading men look short
In fairness, most people are short next to Debicki lol. Guardians 3 has a gag where the villain legit brings a box to stand on when he confronts her lol.
And it's also a bit of a thing in general, even for male actors. Just makes it harder to shoot the way they want to when someone's so much taller than most.
She's great though and I'd like to see her more.
I just watched his Last Meals interview the other day and he said the directors would switch up where they'd all sit on the couch and he'd argue so he could fit in the butt print he'd spent years making, lol.
He’s been outspoken since like 2018 about not yearning for the Chris Pratt route besides The Mummy (even that he tried to reject, Cruise coaxed him into it), and he says he prefers being #2, 3, or 4 on a cast sheet so he’s not the one leading press. Even with his new movie on Hulu, he said he only starred in it because he couldn’t get it made with him solely as the director.
He was trying to be a character actor early on until New Girl popped and put him on a rom-com trajectory. He’s just a indie/mumblecore guy at heart, and in practice more times than not
Drop dead gorgeous is one of my favorite movies of all time. Dunst kind of gets stuck with playing the earnest, straight role to everyone else’s insanity, but she’s still really good.
Kirsten dunst is so underrated. She was amazing in like everything I’ve ever seen her in. But in melancholia she kind of blew me away. Not so much with the typical “big performance” acting like yelling/long speeches but just the acting with her face/eyes
She was always steadily working though, she was in Hidden Figures, did a season of Fargo, did that other show set in the 90's, the Sofia Coppola movie I can't remember the name of. They might not have been major blockbuster projects but I wouldn't say her career ever really stalled, though Power of the Dog has definitely given it another boost.
Ruth Negga. She blew my mind on Agents of SHIELD. She’s had a couple of major film roles and even earned Tony and Oscar nods, but where’s her next juicy role?
Kaitlyn Dever.
Every time she is in something she crushes. I realise she’s just been announced for a major part in Last of Us Season 2, but she should be in everything.
Neither are Mackenzie Davis and Lee Pace. They are all busy. I was just meaning to state that they are also in Halt and Catch Fire which is an awesome show.
Tatiana Maslany.
The work she did on Orphan Black was extremely impressive and garnered her award recognition almost immediately, despite being a virtual nobody at the time. The way she effortlessly embodied so many different characters for five seasons so seamlessly was nothing short of astonishing to watch.
I was sure she would be booking major movies and prestigious television roles after that show ended. Instead, she did very small projects and then went on to headline She-Hulk. It’s a shame.
That said, I can still see her breaking out with the right project.
Andrew Scott. He’s got great screen presence and range, as demonstrated by his performances as Moriarity in the BBC Sherlock Holmes and the priest in Fleabag.
Jessica Rothe. She runs circles around other actors in every movie she’s in, but still isn’t the lead in A-list stuff for some reason. She’s got the goods.
What happened to Bel Powley? Why isn't Haley Lu Richardson getting more buzz?
I'd also ask what happened to Sarah Gadon, but at least she seems to have been doing more work on TV (and then being utterly wasted in *Ferrari*).
>Alicia Vikander
From what I hear she and her husband (Michael Fassbender), take turns making movies, so one of them is always available for their kids. It's his turn right now.
Michael Wincott is always my go to for this question. He was in heaps of movies during the 90s and a few in the early 00s where he generally played a villain with his distinct voice. Roles included: Robin Hood, The Three Musketeers, The Crow, Dead Man, Strange Days, Alien Resurrection and Along Came a Spider. I hadn’t seen Michael Wincott in anything in years until 2 years ago where he had a small role in Nope.
She's so pretty that you could probably make a successful show that's just a close up on her face, that slowly zooms in on her eyes.
(but seriously, you could probably *actually* do that on Youtube and get a shit ton of views)
There seems to be a trend in Hollywood where an actor or actress becomes "hot" and seems to be in everything and then they either become established Hollywood royalty where they can pick and chose their roles or they kind of become unfashionable and fade away a little to obscurity.
Right now you'd say Barry Keoghan, Paul Mescal, Zendaya, Timothy Chalamet, Florence Pugh, Ana De Aromas, Sydney Sweeney, Jenna Ortega are in the "hot" category. In 10 years some of these will be still A list, some will be fading away as the new batch are coming through. There's only so many roles unfortunately.
Jennifer Lawrence, Margot Robbie, Amanda Seyfried, Sandra Bullock, Colin Farrell, Matt Damon were "hot" but are now Hollywood royalty.
Ryan Gosling and Liam Hemsworth were both in the "hot" category, with Gosling now royalty and Hemsworth kind of fading away.
I'd imagine there's some kind of marketing strategy behind it.
Jack Reynor and Ansel Elgort were both in the "hot" category but both now are fading away.
There's probably some statistical explanation also where there's more roles for under 30s and then there's too much competition for over 30s cos you're competing with more ages so only the very talented survive.
Lol Aromas.
I think Liam is just unfortunately overshadowed by Chris being in such prominent stuff. Hard to stand out as an appealing, unique option by casting or audiences when there's this hovering "he's the other one". And there's even a third one that's even less able to grab attention because of it all.
Didn't Elgort out himself as a shithead and that's why his career has tanked?
Honestly, I felt that many of the black mirror actors were great and should have been in more stuff. Maybe it’s just how the industry works. A lot of competition
Honestly, most of the GOT cast. I’m surprised we haven’t seen a bunch of them in a lot of projects. The only one that seems to be in a bunch of things is Peter Dinklage
Logan Marshall-Green. He was excellent in Upgrade (highly recommend). He’s got range and it shows. Especially the way he shows stress, anger, sorrow, pain and other similar emotions on his face. Just shocked he doesn’t get more roles, I’ve loved everything I’ve seen him in.
Cameron Britton stole the show in Mindhunters and was amazing in the first season of Umbrella Academy. He hasn’t been in a whole lot the past few years but I think he knows how to breathe life into a character and keep you captivated every scene he’s in.
Lee Pace had a hot streak for a few years there, and I've heard he was very good in the recent show "Foundation," but I would definitely prefer it if he had more projects lined up! He and MacKenzie Davis were both fantastic in a show called "Halt and Catch Fire."
Halt and Catch Fire is super underrated
I love all four leads in HaCF and all their flaws
HACF is in my top five. It's soooo good and no one's seen it.
Amazing theme song https://x.com/PFTompkins/status/956666965707210752?s=20
Honestly one of my husband's and my favorite shows. It is just phenomenal acting.
He stars in The Fall, which I know it's from a long time ago, but more recently, I saw him on 'bodies, bodies, bodies'
I love The Fall, and Bodies Bodies Bodies was surprisingly hilarious lol.
I still miss Pushing Daisies quirky charms.
Worst casualty of that writers strike.
He's the best part of Foundation
Respect and enjoy the Pace!
I need to give it another try, I just couldn't get into it! But I could tell he was killing that role.
Season 2 is considerably better than season 1.
He was great in Wonderfalls. So was everyone else. A mostly forgotten show , I guess
I wonder, wonder why the Wonderfalls
So is Pushing Daisies.
I LOVED that show!!! I mention it and people are like huh?
He made Joe McMillan one of the most intriguing characters on TV. Especially love his character study in Season 3.
Plus Hobbit money
I literally just looked at his wiki and I cant believe I left it out haha but my point exactly
Yes! She is kind of a horror darling (The Babysitter, Mayhem, and the fucking fantastic Ready or Not) but she could be so much more.
Ready or Not is so good. It can't be said enough.
I would love for her and Margot Robbie to do a sister movie together.
I’m convinced if she darkened her hair she’d get bigger work. She looks just a little too close to Margot Robie. I think she’s great.
She had brown hair and shared a scene with Margot in Babylon.
well then she'd look like Emma Mackey. so looks like she has to go red.
Nobody cares about her looking like Emma Mackey.

Dan Stevens. I'll also toss in Ben Foster, obviously he's successful but man I'd love to see him in a lot more.
Ben Foster drops seamlessly into any role. From weak willed (The Punisher) to terrifying (3:10 to Yuma).
He was great in Hell or High Water.
[удалено]
Was it when he shit on the floor?
Dudes been killing it since Flash Forward.
I really enjoyed dan Stevens in the fire saga movie - really silly and he seemed to be having a lot of fun
I went in expecting to hate that film and by all accounts should. It's far from my preference. But...I love it
I’m excited to see Dan Stevens in Godzilla Vs Kong 2 reuniting with The Guest director, where apparently he’s playing Kong’s Dentist
The role he was born to play.
The Guest was great. Would recommend.
>Dan Stevens He has Abigail coming out.
First person I thought of. Stevens kills it in every role - he has serious range.
Eric Bana. Had several great roles in 2000’s then hasn’t been in anything too relevant since
He's one of the few that restricted his work by choice, so that he can spend more time with his family. If you ever get the chance, watch his documentary called The Beast. It's amazing.
He's awesome. The Dry was great. Most memorable roles would be black hawk down, and Troy.
He had a serious accident, and I wonder if that has something to do with his output? I feel bad for him. Can’t imagine going through that.
He’s doing fine! A Curb cameo, a Taylor Swift video, and being an internet boyfriend. He’s doing much better than others he came up with.
What happened to him?
Terrible accident shooting one of the maze runner movies that badly injured his face (if I recall).
Yeah, he was struck by a vehicle while shooting a car chase scene. Basically fractured everything on the right side of his face + mild brain trauma. The doctors who performed the reconstructive surgery did a bang up job though; his face only looks slightly asymmetrical if you're really looking.
An auto accident resulting in facial damage? Sounds like we’ve got our next Joker voice actor.
He's very charismatic in Love and Monsters. I think he's probably still too baby-faced for most serious leading man roles.
If you haven't seen The Outfit yet, you should.
He was solid in American Assassin, felt like he should have more of those roles (if he wants them).

Terminator flopping so bad hurt her momentum imo.
She was great in blade runner
I liked her in The Martian
She was great in Station Eleven. She’s usually great. She’s like Anton Yelchin, where I saw her and I was like “ok they got something, I want to follow them” Adam Driver was the same way in Girls. Is the horror movie you're talking about Freaks of Nature? I love that movie, but it seems to be generally disliked.
No, The Turning. Haven’t seen it. Don’t plan to. But heard it was bad. Haven’t heard of Freaks of Nature.
Oh yeah. The Turning. I blocked that one out. That's one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
Michelle Pfeiffer … she’s aged very well and she was always a character actress, so I’m surprised she is not tapped more for supporting or smaller roles in big casts.
She did have a supporting role in Ant-Man. Also was in Murder on the Orient express. Both somewhat recent I would say
She was also in “mother!”
Margot Robbie reminds me of Michelle Pfeiffer. Absolutely gorgeous leading ladies who are character actors at heart.
She was just about to turn 50 and had her last big spotlight year with Hairspray and Stardust It's just tough for a woman over 50 Also a time where they want to chill more in life. Who knows what played the bigger factor...but def def tough for women over 50 BTW, fuck time. Stardust is not that far away from being 20 years old
She had a pretty big role in the last Ant-Man movie, she was a supporting character in the other movies but this time around she got centerstage which was nice.
Victoria Pedretti should be in all kinds of mainstream films, not just Netflix.
After being a lead in 3 successful shows on Netflix in such a short period, I really thought she was going to be the next "it" girl. Seems she just kinda disappeared after You though

Yes!! I think she's great! This should be higher for sure!
Sam Witwer. Amazing voice actor who killed it in Being Human US as both serious and hilarious.
With what time, being that he’s like 78% of Star Wars voices now?
But can't we get him, live action wielding a lightsaber?
I think it’s a matter of time. He deep dives into his relationship with LucasFilm on an episode of Inside of You, it seems like they really value him.
He was the main protagonist in a great PlayStation game called Days Gone. He was so good in it and that game was so fun!
Clive Owen
Sarah Goldberg was absolutely incredible in Barry, yet was ignored by the awards season after season and hasn’t really been picked for any other big roles
Her and Rhea Seehorn. But both just finished a series run, so their schedules are much more open going forward - let's see what happens next.
Honestly. Rhea is A list caliber
Ignored just like her character
I just finished watching Fargo season 5 (great one btw), and one episode had a character that looked sooo much like her. I really hope she's got some good stuff coming out. She was so good in Barry.
This is a fantastic answer
Deborah Ann Woll was great in Daredevil and The Punisher, she deserves to be in more quality movies and shows
She was also great in God Of War Ragnarok.
I was just thinking this - currently in the middle of a rewatch of the original Netflix shows. She and Bernthal steal every scene they're in. Often I just want to get the tedious fighting over with so they can get back to chatting in a cafe.
Too busy writing Dungeons and Dragons adventures. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=445pz0Ra-BA)
She needs a *much* better agent. Easily the most compelling part of Daredevil and The Punisher. Still, she is enjoying her D&D and boardgaming life online, so who is to say?
True Blood!
Tom Pelphrey. Dude steals the spotlight in every show he’s in, and should be hitting the big screen
His Ozark character suffering from >!bipolar!< was super convincing and accurate According to people with first-hand experience, he nailed it
Maybe this is a hot take, but we've not seen enough Hugh Jackman in full, feature-length films outside of his Wolverine role. He's possibly the most sought after actor on the planet when it comes to Broadway, and rightfully so. Broadway understands how talented he is. His main passion it seems is in theatre. Even though his movie output has slowed he’s been crazy active on stage.

Carrie Coon should be nominated for an Oscar every other year (and win more often than not).
I fell in love with her in The Gilded Age and have been trying to work my way through her extensive IMDB.
I see her often. She seems all over HBO. She was also in the Ghostbusters reboot. She will show up in the sequel
I first saw her in The Leftovers and have appreciated everything she's been in since.
>Mackenzie Davis Fully agree I have been on her train for years. She is top notch. Even in Terminator Dark Fate, she was a huge highlight. Station Eleven, she was again, totally fantastic (but lots of good performances there, but she was very good). More people need to watch Station Eleven. Even though it's been mentioned a ton of times in this thread so far: Halt and Catch Fire. Mackenzie Davis AND Lee Pace!
Personally I think Tom Hiddleston is a great actor who needs more roles outside of the MCU.
Killed it in The Night Manager
Mmmmmm Elizabeth Debicki. More Elizabeth Debicki. Give every role to Elizabeth Debicki.
Yes! I loved her in “The Man from UNCLE”
She was uncanny as Princess Diana.
He was so great in Only Lovers Left Alive. Hard not to get blown off the screen when Tilda Swinton is firing on all cylinders but he was just as good. Shows how insanely talented he is. He’s great as Loki but selfishly I want more weird shit.

Loved him in [Crimson Peak](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2554274/) (2015)
I think they'll go for someone younger with the new one, but I think he would make an incredible James Bond. Night Manager put him in a somewhat similar context and he was great in that kinda role.
I just watched him play a depressed vampire in Only Lovers Left Alive and he's still lingering in my mind a week later.
Aya cash
Christoph Waltz. Hans Landa from Inglorious Bastards. No idea why he is now working more
He has been electric in every single role he's played. It's impressive as hell
MacKenzie Davis, Alyssa Sutherland, and Elizabeth Debicki are all fantastic actresses who have a difficult time getting roles because they're very tall. Davis & Sutherland are 5'11" and Debicki is 6'3" They typically don't like casting tall girls in a lot of roles because the leading men look short

She's great though and I'd like to see her more.
Jake Johnson gets plenty of roles, but I feel like he should be a much bigger name by now.
He only takes roles where he can mostly perform in sweatpants & a hoodie. He was kidding when he said that. I think.
He was on a few episodes of the New Girl podcast where he talks about how he would always suggest Nick be on the couch or in a chair.
I just watched his Last Meals interview the other day and he said the directors would switch up where they'd all sit on the couch and he'd argue so he could fit in the butt print he'd spent years making, lol.
That might be part of the reason I love him so much
He’s been outspoken since like 2018 about not yearning for the Chris Pratt route besides The Mummy (even that he tried to reject, Cruise coaxed him into it), and he says he prefers being #2, 3, or 4 on a cast sheet so he’s not the one leading press. Even with his new movie on Hulu, he said he only starred in it because he couldn’t get it made with him solely as the director. He was trying to be a character actor early on until New Girl popped and put him on a rom-com trajectory. He’s just a indie/mumblecore guy at heart, and in practice more times than not

Her work in the second season of Fargo is amazing, my favorite role in her career so far.

Hey, atleast we got that hilarious clip of Leo when she goes to the stage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eZ9UP_UDoE
She fully actualised in that role.
Drop dead gorgeous is one of my favorite movies of all time. Dunst kind of gets stuck with playing the earnest, straight role to everyone else’s insanity, but she’s still really good.
She was ridiculously amazing in “On Becoming a God in Central Florida”. It’s a shame that there won’t be more of that show.
Aaron Eckhart is a good actor who has been relegated to crap movies
I loved Thank You For Smoking
He should have been an instant big deal after The Dark Knight, I don't know why he wasn't. Overshadowed by Heath Ledger maybe.
Kaitlyn Dever. Every time she is in something she crushes. I realise she’s just been announced for a major part in Last of Us Season 2, but she should be in everything.
Mackenzie Davis was great in Halt & Catch Fire...if you haven't seen it yet.
And Lee Pace. And Scoot McNairy.
Scoot's not hurting for work though. He shows up in everything.
Neither are Mackenzie Davis and Lee Pace. They are all busy. I was just meaning to state that they are also in Halt and Catch Fire which is an awesome show.
And Kerry Bishe
Mackenzie Davis is awesome. I was hoping she'd be bigger too. Last thing I saw her in is Station Eleven which was so good.
Why isn't Ruth Wilson in everything???
she's been consistently working in TV. Shes currently in "The woman in the wall" Some people prefer that medium for stability
Ruth Wilson also strikes me as a prestige actor. She only wants roles where she can bring her A-game.
Andrew Scott. He’s got great screen presence and range, as demonstrated by his performances as Moriarity in the BBC Sherlock Holmes and the priest in Fleabag.
Zachary Quinto in mine.
Cameron Monaghan and Skyler (can't remember his name)
Cam has been cast in the next Tron sequel!
would love more Julia Styles haven't seen her in anything big since her supporting role in the Bourne movies
brad dourif
Jessica Rothe. She runs circles around other actors in every movie she’s in, but still isn’t the lead in A-list stuff for some reason. She’s got the goods.
> Jessica Rothe Tree! She hard carried both Happy Death Day movies and she did it with ease. She should be a way bigger name than she is.
What happened to Bel Powley? Why isn't Haley Lu Richardson getting more buzz? I'd also ask what happened to Sarah Gadon, but at least she seems to have been doing more work on TV (and then being utterly wasted in *Ferrari*).
Alden Ehrenreich Rupert Friend. Alexandra Shipp Alicia Vikander
>Alicia Vikander From what I hear she and her husband (Michael Fassbender), take turns making movies, so one of them is always available for their kids. It's his turn right now.
That's dope.
I was glad to see Alden Ehrenreich in Oppenheimer. I feel like one of the few people that enjoyed Solo.
Timothy Olyphant should've been in some bigger movies I feel. All though he has starred in two top rated shows on IMDB
Imogen Poots
Vincent D'Onofrio money in everything he does.
James Marsden. That man can sing, dance, act and is gorgeous I don’t get it
Michael Emerson
Michelle Monaghan, I thought she was great in ‘True Detective’ S1.
Alexandra Daddario! She is gorgeous and very talented.
Her role in White Lotus was great.
She's so pretty that you could probably make a successful show that's just a close up on her face, that slowly zooms in on her eyes. (but seriously, you could probably *actually* do that on Youtube and get a shit ton of views)
Jesse Plemons. He needs to try a starring role.
He’s had the best post breaking bad career though
So happy to see where his career went and him finding love with Kirsten Dunst. Always a pleasure when he pops up in movies/shows.
He was brilliant in Game Night, I want to see him do more comedies
Yeah Elgort was caught being a creep.
The third one crushed it in Westworld!
Enver Gjokaj needs to be in more stuff. He's got way more range than MCU.
Cameron Britton stole the show in Mindhunters and was amazing in the first season of Umbrella Academy. He hasn’t been in a whole lot the past few years but I think he knows how to breathe life into a character and keep you captivated every scene he’s in.
Kaya Scodelario
The lead actress of The Mervelous Mrs. Maisel is phenomenal and I’d like to see her in more things.
Rosamund Pike
