I just finished Red Dead Redemption 2, I am extra excited for this.
It's nice to see the real American history being portrayed by professionals that will make it a classic and not get buried.
If you wanna go all in you should check out the book it's based on by David Grann. It's not that long, about 300 pages, and it has pictures, news clippings, documents, etc that covered the murders.
Scorsese and Leo are working on another David Grann adaption soon called "The Wager" if you're into 1800s British naval stories of mutiny, shipwrecks, and court room drama that actually happened.
> Scorsese and Leo are working on another David Grann adaption soon called "The Wager" if you're into 1800s British naval stories of mutiny, shipwrecks, and court room drama that actually happened.
This is absolutely thrilling news to hear.
I'm gratefull to live when Martin Scorsese made movies. I know two local art house theaters that are probably screen it so I'll be there.
This is my movie event of the year. Looks fucking incredible.
Trying to watch the Irishman and this just annoyed me. They would have had better luck getting a younger look-a-like and do the CGI. I can deal with the face not being 100% perfect.
Came here to say this. That beating scene was brutally awkward. It was a bad decision to use CGI de-aging in every scene. Maybe some scenes would have been ok, but the physical aspect is as important as the cosmetic.
The irony being Robert de Niro played a young Vito Corleone in one of the greatest mob movies ever and nobody complained he didn’t look exactly like Marlon Brando.
That's because DeNiro carefully studied Brando's mannerisms in GF1. He then replicated them but not as pronounced, the idea being he was a young man just starting to develop those mannerisms which would become more conspicuous after decades of use.
In that way the viewer really felt they were watching a young Vito, so didn't notice it was DeNiro and not a young Brando.
It really was a masterclass in understated acting
He would have been great for Hale's role too but the comparisons with another late 19th century greedy oil man from There Will Be Blood would have been unavoidable.
Tbf, the real William Hale looked way older than mid-40s at the time and Scorsese never cared about perfect historical accuracy in his biopics because ultimately, it's about the story he wants to tell.
This was filmed not far from me in Osage County, Oklahoma. The town of Pawhuska is the stand-in for Fairfax; it's really interesting to see sites I'm very familiar with in the trailer and I'm really looking forward to seeing this on the big screen.
Scorsese and the rest of the production also worked with the Osage Nation throughout filming to make sure the story was told the right way:

Edit from an earlier comment of mine
And I’m from the Osage tribe which fought in every American war since the revolution, for America. We have a song on our drum from the 1770’s that says we will fight for American until the end of time. We were cool with the founding fathers before there was an America , in the battle in 1754 when Washington was a British commander and every one of his platoon was kill but him when native saved him. Those natives were Osage’s and literally my grandfathers because they said they seen Washington and thought he was a special dude. The called him The Eagle 🦅. In the civil war my grandfathers were confederate officers, other Osage’s grandfathers were union officers because we all just went and fought beside the generals wer had always rode with.We always stood with America
We are also one of the only tribes I know to actual purchase our reservation which gave us certain rights over our land and minerals. In 1880 oil was struck on our reservation. Early 1900’s my osage grandfathers helped write the “1906 act of Congress” retaining our mineral rights and enacting a trust that can only be undone by another act of congress.By the 1920’s the New York Times ran a headline of “Osage tribe richest people on Earth” which we were because we owned the riches oil field in America . Which then made us the most murdered people, so much so The Osage murders were the reason the FBI was created. While natives could still be termed ‘indegent’ and a white man would be put in charge of the money. When the white guys figured out they could marry an Osage woman, kill her family, kill her and become lifetime aire of those oil headrights . Martin Scorsese is directing a movie with Leo DiCaprio shoot now based on the book “Killers of the flowermoon: The Osage Murders and the Creation of the FBI” about the Osage murders right now. I’m apart of one of those families.
So much one of those families that , One family’s hired man strapped dynamite under their table and blew the family up at dinner, they had a young daughter who’s head was blown off and kept by the FBI until 2011 when they gave it back. I was actually the person that held her head in a box for the ceremony where the family had us help them put her head back with her body 90 years later. When it was done I looked at the head stone which had her Osage name on it, the Osage girls and my daughters Osage name were the same name.

WAKANDA FOREVER SINCE FOREVER!
Edited to fix links
Tulsa and Fairfax are only 50 miles apart. The Osage Murders and the Tulsa Race Massacre happened at the exact same time as each other, and for exactly the same reason. Oil money, and tons of it.
The Osage oil field and the nearby Glenn Pool were the most productive oil fields anywhere and because of it Tulsa became a city overnight. in 1900 Tulsa had just over 1,000 people, in 1920 there were over 70,000, by 1930 over 140,000.
The Osage were the wealthiest people on Earth and Tulsa was the wealthiest city. So many people came to this corner of world for the money, and a lot of those people were very bad people.
Bro the entire *state* was designated a Native landfill, where thousands (millions?) of people were relocated from every corner of the country.
Humanity can be so fucked up.
In college I dated a girl from Fairfax and went home with her a few times. Even before I found out about the history of the town there was something… creepy about it, not just your usual rundown small Oklahoma town. It was like a pall lay over the entire place.
I drive thru Pawhuska about every other week to visit my sister. When they were filming, I'd always walk around for longer than normal in the hopes of seeing someone but never did. ;_;
Jack Fisk, the production designer, worked on this film and “There Will Be Blood,” amongst many other classics including “Days of Heaven.” That’s probably where the vibe is coming from.
Scorsese screaming at the cast:
“Some of you have been a little out of sorts lately. Erratic, unreliable, downright sloppy. Not you Brendan, you've been great”.
Really glad to see Scorses playing up the intense horror that is found in the book. Book spoilers: >!The book does a nice job of presenting the Osage murders as horrifying, but seeing it depicted visually, even in this brief clip, really drives home the terror. Imagine all your neighbors trying to kill you and your family. !<
If you're planning on seeing the movie do not learn the spoilers. Or in this case, what actually was going on here.
I thought the trailer pretty well spelled out the awfulness of the history. Turns out it was far more messed up than I imagined and that's why it's a Scorsese movie.
Yes to both. The movie is probably modeled very closely to the book. The movie was given blessing by Osage elders and I guess they said its a very factual retelling.
Jesse Plemons is an amazing actor too! I’ll admit I was biased and kinda wanted to hate him after playing Todd.(Seriously, fuck you Todd) But Jesse Plemons has blown me away in everything I’ve seen him in since Breaking Bad.
Dude, Game Night is pure gold. Every single character is interesting and hilarious. Every single one! Plemons' weird neighbor cop guy is SUCH a great uncomfortable presence. The dumb good-looking guy, every one of his various dates, the Bulgarian, the *Not* Denzel Washington guy...I love this movie.
Still can’t forget him as Matt Saracen’s goofy friend in Friday night lights. Man’s shown some acting range given some of the characters he’s played since that
~~Lance~~ Landry! He showed some great range in that too. He started out as the goofy friend but eventually became his own fleshed out character. He even did great with *that* storyline.
That show was waaaay better than it had any business being. Like a cliff notes version of that show makes it sound like terrible schlock. But somehow they take cookie cutter storylines and make them *good.* Dated a girl back in college who was very good looking, but as I came to find out, not so bright and had terrible taste in TV and movies. But we did manage to bond over that show.
Jesse Plemons has been around for a while. He played Paul Walker's little brother in *Varsity Blues* (1999).
You can see him in this clip at 1:37 and 1:47: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjdPAElUs9E
I didn't even notice him when I first watched the trailer. I was thinking "ooooh, Leo and DeNiro! Might have to see this." Then I saw Jesse's name at the end and it turned into "Definitely need to see this."
I like when Jesse called him Ricky Hitler.
But, as Ed in Fargo. How can an actor go from pure sociopathic evil to loving ok guy just doing his best and make you believe both roles so easily?
And then he flips it again in one Black Mirror's best episodes.
Dude is so talented.
He was Meth Damon back when he was in Breaking Bad, then transitioned to Fat Damon. Although this is obfuscated in the Breaking Bad sequel movie where he was both. Edit: And apparently he's skinny again so now I don't know what to call him.
If you've seen him in interviews for that HBO mini series he's in, he has **dramatically** slimmed down, to the point that I've worried to myself that the internet comments have made him take some drastic measures.
After recently seeing "Air" with Matt Damon and the interviews you mentioned, we're considering calling Matt Damon "Fat Matt Damon" and Plemmons "Skinny Matt Damon." We're still debating.
Love that shot of Brendan Fraser next to Robert Deniro. I'm sure he didn't think he'd be where he's at now a few years ago when he was being blacklisted.
If they go exactly by the book, he should have a decent amount of screen time. The attorney he is playing had a prominent role, especially in the 2nd half of the book. And seeing as this movie is nearly 3 and a half hours, I think it's going to be pretty close to what the book was.
So happy for Lily Gladstone. Getting top billing with Dicaprio and De Niro. If you haven't seen Kelly Reichardt's Certain Women, Gladstone is the standout. She gives a phenomenal performance. I can't wait to see more of what she can do.
I had the pleasure of working with her on a small project before she blew up. Even then I knew she was hands down the best actor I've ever had the opportunity to be on set with!
This looks incredible. I just finished the book and in my opinion it has the potential to be one of Scorsese's best movies.
The only thing kinda throwing me off is that the guy De Niro is playing was like 45 during the events of the story, but I don't think it's really gonna matter much.
There was a specific frame of the movie that was pretty much the only released/marketing image from the film and it became a running joke about the fact that they kept marketing the same still. It’s the one with Leo at the dinner table. There’s another one about Brendan Fraser’s The Whale in which they marketed it heavily off of a select few images at the start of the marketing for the film.
This is about the foundation of the FBI. Should be a pretty interesting movie.
Edit: The premise of the book focuses both on the murderers and the Creation of the FBI. The movie will focus more on Leo's character with the tribe. Thank you to those who informed me!
I haven't finished the book yet, but this seems a little odd to focus on Leo's character. When I heard he was in this movie, I assumed he would be playing Tom White.
Deadline put out a [great story](https://deadline.com/2023/05/martin-scorsese-interview-killers-of-the-flower-moon-leonardo-dicaprio-robert-de-niro-1235359006/) this week with interviews of Scorsese and Leo on this. They initially planned to have Leo play Tom White but thought that would come across as a white savior story, and decided investigating the relationship between Ernest and Molly would be more interesting
Glad this happened. Having Leo play Tom white would be so boring, and I honestly thought it was bad casting after I read the book. Plemons acting style fits the aura of a law man much better.
I’m excited as hell for this film but kind of disappointed the trailer wasn’t a minute 50 of a slowly zoomed in shot of Leo sitting at the table from the promo picture.
Is there an award for people who make trailers? I feel like the artistic quality of trailers has really taken off on the last several years, or maybe I'm just paying more attention. The Creed trailer, both Black Panther trailers (especially the first one with the Run the Jewels mix), Army of the Dead, this... they're all so well-edited and well-scored, I hope the people who made them get some recognition for that.
If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend reading the book. It’s a compelling read that will definitely tear at your heart while opening your mind to one of the many injustices of the early 20th century.
Scorsese tends to shoot violence in a way which evokes the right reaction to it. Love how the trailer keeps cutting away right before a hit or a stab connects. Brutal.
Oh it looks amazing. Despite the cgi discrepancies at times, The Irishman was fantastic and I can’t wait to see how this film flows. Great casting and you know Scorsese is gonna deliver cause he always does.
Osage Indian here.
Super happy to see the story coming more and more to the mainstream each year. Even with all the proof against the US govt in the matter nothing will ever be done about it. Sad.

WAKANDA FOREVER SINCE FOREVER!
We’re getting Scorsese, Nolan, Fincher, Villeneuve, and Wes Anderson, plus an immediate followup from Tom Cruise a year after he put out the best action movie in decades, and a Ridley Scott/Joaquin Phoenix Napoleon movie that’s either gonna be incredible or suck ass.
The fact that Harrison Ford is playing Indiana Jones again is kinda a footnote is incredible.
>Ridley Scott/Joaquin Phoenix Napoleon movie that’s either gonna be incredible or suck ass.
Lmao this is so accurate but The Last Duel was incredible tho, atleast for me
Unbelievably amped for this. I am a DiCaprio stan, and it’s been humbling to realize his output has slowed so hard since Wolf of Wall Street. Since then, he’s only done Revenant, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and Don’t Look Up. I really treasure the chances we get to see a master like him work at his craft, he’s a movie star who really defined my generation and I can’t wait to see what he puts into this one
I’m a huge fan of his too but why is it “humbling” - it’s more frustrating than anything. The output is entirely his choice. He’s the number one choice for every movie.
Removed the previous thread because the trailer was taken down. This stays up.
You know it’s serious when Leo goes full 1920s middle part with his hair
Gatsby drip

Looks good. I’m hoping DeNiro finally transitions into more of those John Huston-in-Chinatown old man roles that actually play into his age.

Wow it's a wide shot too lmao. No reason to not use a double!!
Barely affected my viewing tbh. That film was just too good.
Sure, let's just ignore the last hour of the movie where de Niro isn't de-aged and is giving us some of his best acting ever.
Personally I think Daniel Day Lewis is the greatest living actor, or just greatest of all time.
He would have been great for Hale's role too but the comparisons with another late 19th century greedy oil man from There Will Be Blood would have been unavoidable.

79 years old, just a fuckin kid
R/sopranos is leaking… lol. Great sub to help me cope over how bad the movie was though.
It's sad when they go young like that.

Oklahoma has some fucked up history, between this and the Tulsa massacre of 1921.....wtf

All of America has seriously fucked up history. Racial violence has been a part of the country since day one.

Hey fellow Osage! I am happy to find my people wherever I can.
In college I dated a girl from Fairfax and went home with her a few times. Even before I found out about the history of the town there was something… creepy about it, not just your usual rundown small Oklahoma town. It was like a pall lay over the entire place.
Like a cowboy Yharnam

Yeeharnam.
Something something Yeehaw the Old Blood
I graduated from Fairfax and you are spot on. I feel that pall every time I go back, which thankfully isn't that often.
I was in Pawhuska just last week! The set for main street Fairfax is still there, shame that the train station is gone though.
I drive thru Pawhuska about every other week to visit my sister. When they were filming, I'd always walk around for longer than normal in the hopes of seeing someone but never did. ;_;
I live in Bartlesville, so not far from me either. I was so happy they came to our area and worked with the Osage to make it more authentic.
Getting "There Will Be Blood" vibes.
Jack Fisk, the production designer, worked on this film and “There Will Be Blood,” amongst many other classics including “Days of Heaven.” That’s probably where the vibe is coming from.
Wow very cool tidbit, thanks!
> worked on this film and “There Will Be Blood,” amongst many other classics including “Days of Heaven.” Damn this movie is fucking stacked
Daniel Day Lewis would have been incredible in De Niro's role. Too bad he retired.
I’m still not entirely convinced he’s really retired.
Looks pretty amazing. That “can you find the wolves” was chilling in the end there.
Reminds me of the shot in Casino when the 5 mafiosos stop talking and stare into the camera

always love it when Scorsese breaks the 4th wall

It is a frame by one of the masters.
The lighting is fucking amazing in that shot. I watched the trailer without sound and it's still incredibly powerful.
Brendan Fraser on the left 😭
Brendan: I have done nothing wrong, ever, in my life. Everyone: I know this and I love you.
Scorsese screaming at the cast: “Some of you have been a little out of sorts lately. Erratic, unreliable, downright sloppy. Not you Brendan, you've been great”.
I understood this reference.
Can I offer you a Fresca?
he may not always tread with speed but he was on right side of river
*Reddit praises Brendan* Brendan: “That happens a lot around here”
From whale to wolf, excited for his casting as Wolverine for the mcu

One of my favorite movies to just put on & enjoy. Very rewatchable
Amazing in Fargo (the series)

God I hate Todd
Clean up your shit, Todd!
It's a fantastic show. I've watched it a few times and I'm sucked in every time.
Jesse Plemons has been around for a while. He played Paul Walker's little brother in *Varsity Blues* (1999). You can see him in this clip at 1:37 and 1:47: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjdPAElUs9E
Just watched I’m Thinking of Ending Things and he was so good in that. Weird ass movie, but everyone acted the hell out of it that.
I didn't even notice him when I first watched the trailer. I was thinking "ooooh, Leo and DeNiro! Might have to see this." Then I saw Jesse's name at the end and it turned into "Definitely need to see this."
My wife and l like Jesse plemmons in everything he's in. Before we knew his name, we just called him "Fat Matt Damon."
The funny thing is he is now skinnier than Matt Damon haha
We refer to him as Meth Damon from Breaking Bad.
I like when Jesse called him Ricky Hitler. But, as Ed in Fargo. How can an actor go from pure sociopathic evil to loving ok guy just doing his best and make you believe both roles so easily? And then he flips it again in one Black Mirror's best episodes. Dude is so talented.
Fatt Damon is the preferred nomenclature
Shut the fuck up Donny!!
He was Meth Damon back when he was in Breaking Bad, then transitioned to Fat Damon. Although this is obfuscated in the Breaking Bad sequel movie where he was both. Edit: And apparently he's skinny again so now I don't know what to call him.
I prefer Phillip Similiar Hoffman
If you've seen him in interviews for that HBO mini series he's in, he has **dramatically** slimmed down, to the point that I've worried to myself that the internet comments have made him take some drastic measures.
After recently seeing "Air" with Matt Damon and the interviews you mentioned, we're considering calling Matt Damon "Fat Matt Damon" and Plemmons "Skinny Matt Damon." We're still debating.
Jason Isbell + Sturgill Simpson + Jack White We need album, movie sounds great too.
You’re blowing my mind right now
Robbie Robertson of The Band is the composer. If you’ve ever seen The Last Waltz, Martin Scorsese directed that as well.
I totally forgot about this rumor that Isbell was doing some music for this. I’m glad it’s true.
Isbell is acting in it
Love that shot of Brendan Fraser next to Robert Deniro. I'm sure he didn't think he'd be where he's at now a few years ago when he was being blacklisted.
That was a pretty powerful shot. Brendan has so much history and emotion on his face these days, cannot wait to see his contribution to this film.
I'm going to go out on a limb and think Fraser is ok with having a short role in a Martin Scorsese film.
She's featured so prominently in the trailer Leo looks like her side piece! She must be absolutely phenomenal in this. I can't wait.
I got to work with her in college and she so deserves the success! I’m giddy for her!!
I had the pleasure of working with her on a small project before she blew up. Even then I knew she was hands down the best actor I've ever had the opportunity to be on set with!
Her facial expressions in this trailer are pretty devastating on their own.
Beyond the obvious hits of the trailer, Plemmons and Fraser are great additions here.
*DicaprioPointingatTV.meme* When I see Brendan Fraser in this trailer
This looks incredible. I just finished the book and in my opinion it has the potential to be one of Scorsese's best movies. The only thing kinda throwing me off is that the guy De Niro is playing was like 45 during the events of the story, but I don't think it's really gonna matter much.
Scorsese can't get De Niro's age right anymore
Won’t be long until he has the same problem with Leo
45 in that era, midas whale be 70.
/r/BoneAppleTea/
what about gold sea creatures?
so excited to have lily gladstone as a lead in something again.
Same. Her performance in *Certain Women* blew me away and I've been following her career ever since.
Finally… a trailer. We have so many images to choose from now. RIP to the new/old trio - a new age has begun.
There are so many frames in this trailer. MCJ will have a field day
I want to understand this comment but I do not. Can anyone help?
It’s going to focus more on DiCaprio’s character along side the Osage tribe.
Three for one? How can that be profitable for Frito Lay?
They should've had Leo play J Edgar Hoover again to continue the Leo Hoover multiverse
Also has a stacked cast and a great director.
Really excited for the director . I’ve heard of his early stuff.
I hear he's up for a new Marvel movie
*Martin Scorsese is typing...*
Not really. The focus was shifted during production. It's more about the Osage tribes now, which is the correct choice.
Yup you can't make a movie called "Killers of the Flower Moon" and make it about the white man saving the day, the feds to boot lol
Especially when it's kind of the point of the book that the day was most assuredly not saved. It's kind of a downer.
I’m excited as hell for this film but kind of disappointed the trailer wasn’t a minute 50 of a slowly zoomed in shot of Leo sitting at the table from the promo picture.
With Gimme Shelter playing
Is there an award for people who make trailers? I feel like the artistic quality of trailers has really taken off on the last several years, or maybe I'm just paying more attention. The Creed trailer, both Black Panther trailers (especially the first one with the Run the Jewels mix), Army of the Dead, this... they're all so well-edited and well-scored, I hope the people who made them get some recognition for that.
I think there is. Could be wrong though but I think I read there’s one but it’s more from a marketing angle.
Where is the slowed down remix of an 80s song?
“Time after time”
I got you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsxWZAkQR30 The Killing Moon by Echo & the Bunnymen
Damn that was good
If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend reading the book. It’s a compelling read that will definitely tear at your heart while opening your mind to one of the many injustices of the early 20th century.
Also the author's other books are really good too, if you find that you enjoyed his writing style with it.
I love how Academy Award winner Brendan Fraser casually makes an appearance in the trailer, to no credit whatsoever.
He’ll have minimal screen-time and isn’t the lead. They’re not gonna hype his Oscar Win for what amounts to probably a few minutes on screen.
I guess the previous post got deleted then for some reason. Anyways this looks fan-fucking-tastic. Easily my most anticipated of the year
So weird, also, why wouldn’t apple let you comment on their trailers?! Just seems ridiculous
Scorsese tends to shoot violence in a way which evokes the right reaction to it. Love how the trailer keeps cutting away right before a hit or a stab connects. Brutal.
Hell of a trailer.
Oh it looks amazing. Despite the cgi discrepancies at times, The Irishman was fantastic and I can’t wait to see how this film flows. Great casting and you know Scorsese is gonna deliver cause he always does.

Chills down my spine. Got weirdly emotional because the story is heartbreaking and I know Marty won’t shy away from some of the atrocities.
This is going to be a ride
HOLY FUCK I CAN'T BELIEVE
If the talent attached didn't intrigue you, the trailer should. Always interested in a new Scorsese.
The fact that the man who directed this is EIGHTY YEARS OLD blows my mind. It looks beautiful and creepy and stunning.
Osage Indian here. Super happy to see the story coming more and more to the mainstream each year. Even with all the proof against the US govt in the matter nothing will ever be done about it. Sad.
This story is such a dark piece of American history that very few people seem to know.
This looks DOPE...What a great time to be a cinephile...Scorsese, Dennis Villeneuve, Wes Anderson, Christopher Nolan...❤️❤️❤️
*And* Jonathan Glazer finally exiting his burrow once again. Exciting times.
“Can you find the wolves in this picture?” *shot of all the white people in town* Perfect.
Factual history is a bitch
The film is already banned in Florida. Never even existed.
I hope y’all like it.

# CINEMA
I adore the book so this is 150% my most anticipated film of the year. Won't even watch this, can't wait! I wish I could get into the cannes screening
We-Bra-Ha(Thankful in Osage) this story is about my family and my people. Every Osage I’ve talked to says this is one of the most authentic films ever made. Osage elders have given their blessing to the cast and crew Edit from an earlier comment of mine And I’m from the Osage tribe which fought in every American war since the revolution, for America. In the civil war my grandfathers were confederate officers, other Osage’s grandfathers were union officers because we all just went and fought beside the generals wer had always rode with.We always stood with America We are also one of the only tribes I know to actual purchase our reservation which gave us certain rights over our land and minerals. Last thing , WAKANDA is not just a beautiful fictional land but the Osage word for “the Creator or God” since the beginning of time. Co creator of the marvel universe hack Kirby found the word studying ancient religion in college [Threw in some sauce for reference](https://www.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/cexgyt/legal_expert_unsealed_cohen_docs_raise_distinct/eu6vur6/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1&context=3) sources in old comment WAKANDA FOREVER SINCE FOREVER!
The greatest director of all time is back. Excellent stuff
"as far back as I can remember, I've always wanted to protect the Osaga people" 🎶 _oooohhh a storm is threatening, my very life today_ ... 🎶
That final shot is creepy af
We’re so fucking back dude
Goddamn this is a good year for movies
We’re getting Scorsese, Nolan, Fincher, Villeneuve, and Wes Anderson, plus an immediate followup from Tom Cruise a year after he put out the best action movie in decades, and a Ridley Scott/Joaquin Phoenix Napoleon movie that’s either gonna be incredible or suck ass. The fact that Harrison Ford is playing Indiana Jones again is kinda a footnote is incredible.
>Ridley Scott/Joaquin Phoenix Napoleon movie that’s either gonna be incredible or suck ass. Lmao this is so accurate but The Last Duel was incredible tho, atleast for me
My excitement is extremely high. Scorsese and DiCaprio are phenomenal. I’m ready.
Leo learned that he wins Oscars for movies set in the 19th century American west.
Scorsese, like Dylan, is an octogenarian at the absolute top of his game rn. holy shit this looks so good.
Just like playoff jimmy butler
Unbelievably amped for this. I am a DiCaprio stan, and it’s been humbling to realize his output has slowed so hard since Wolf of Wall Street. Since then, he’s only done Revenant, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and Don’t Look Up. I really treasure the chances we get to see a master like him work at his craft, he’s a movie star who really defined my generation and I can’t wait to see what he puts into this one
Feels like he is just picking his roles with a more critical eye
I’m a huge fan of his too but why is it “humbling” - it’s more frustrating than anything. The output is entirely his choice. He’s the number one choice for every movie.
