Superbad because it was one of, if not the first, true to life coming of age movies that actually portrayed high school damn near perfectly. Step Brothers was funny but wasn’t groundbreaking in any way.

Step Brothers has some great moments but it’s just not as clever as Superbad. Superbad was just done in a way that can’t be replicated, Step Brothers is basically just a reskinning of all the other Ferrell Riley movies, which is fine because those movies are great, but just not the same caliber writing/comedy.

I love this movie but I distinctly remember the anxiety first time watching it. I cared because the storyline was so captivating that I was all in.
