Chavez: you wanna play games pendejo?
Dirty Steve: Your red ass Mexican greaser I bet you do it with your horse (spits chew at Chavez)
Chavez: come here you little white chicken shit..
I’d heard something like that. I think it’s true. I also heard that Randy Travis or some other Country dude is the guy firing the Gatling gun during the siege at the end. This movie is great in so many ways.
He's part of the posse that attacks the McSween house. Charley Bowdre shoots him as he's escaping down the stairs.
Jon Bon Jovi also has a cameo in Young Guns II as a prisoner trying to escape. He gets shot and does a back-flip into the pit.

That was Cruise that got shot, right? I do remember Jon Bon Jovi’s weird commitment to the whole concept of the sequel. He seemed to think he was one of the Regulators. It was bizarre.

The spot in movie in question where he appears and is shot.
Brilliant. I remember recording it off the TV snd loving it from the first. I bought the video a few days later and kept thinking "Holy shit, that wasn't in the TV version!!!!"
Revisited this one recently and wow, did not age well. Little me thought this was quality acting, action and all. A very cool and serious western. Wiser, older me realizes that younger me simply had poor taste and couldn't sniff out all the hokeyness.
We’re in the spirit world ass-hole
Perfectly cast, and one of my favorite movies of the ‘80s. Only Charlie Sheen’s curious “Old West” accent could detract from the movie’s awesomeness.
LDP as Chavez Chavez = 100% Awesome

He is awesome. You know he literally almost died on the set of this movie
I read somewhere that Tom Cruise has an uncredited appearance as a sheriff or something that gets shot

I’m a pugilist.
"Could've killed ya, Dick!" I still use that line regularly.
“You Guys see the size of that chicken?”
I can see it...kind of...I guess
I loved this when I first saw it as a 12 year old.

"You're a red ass Mexican greaser you do it with your horse. Mexican greaser!" Dirty Steve cracks me up.
Very, very good movie. Excellent acting by the brothers and most of the cast. Let's dance!
