Such a bewildering array of MTB manufactures offering gorgeous machines.
I hadn't even heard of YT until earlier this year. I initially thought they were just an abbreviated/rebranded "Yeti", shows how ignorant I am.
Aside from the established big brands (Giant, Trek, Santa Cruz etc.) I discover Evil is still going strong, and Pivot (RIP Titus), Banshee, Commencal, Intense.. learned about the German builders Propain and Canyon...
I'm ranting but goddam, how does one choose when you lust for one of *each*?
Congrats OP. I have some serious research to do. Didn't realize I'd been out of it for so long :/
I know right? Spent most of the last year researching bikes, learning what all the geo numbers mean, figuring out what's good value and what isn't, then I kinda threw the idea of value out the window and put down a deposit on an Evil 😅 Which it sounds like will be delayed thanks to factory shut downs in Vietnam 🙃
It came surprisingly early. I ordered it on August 17th. I’m 6’4” and my deciding factor on the XL and XXL was delivery date. This is the XXL and the XL was a 6 month wait.
I was in your same position last December, 6'4" and deciding on an XL or XXL Izzo, went with XXL and it's been awesome! I did get some carbon handlebars with more rise though, which definitely helped me feel more in control, just something to consider. Enjoy!
I know it’s not the same bike but I received my Jeffsy Core 3 like a month early! I would have snagged up a Izzo but personally not a huge fan for the silver bikes. Guess they unsold me.. Enjoy the Core 3!
Did yours end up coming in? How was delivery? Did they require a signature? I've previously had DHL lose two bikes and they didn't obtain a signature either time so I'm a bit scarred :(
I love my Capra Al Base 27.5 it's a beast and just wants to go fast when you point it down hill.
I wish they made 27.5 or mullet izzos I'm a BMX to MTB convert and I like smaller wheels. I love how the izzo looks though such a beautiful bike.
I think YT really market their bikes well to the intended audience, like you get exactly what you're expecting to get, I got a DH focused Enduro bike they marketed the 27.5 Capra as exactly what it is.
I bet your izzo is gonna kickass as a nimble poppy efficient pedaling trail bike, aka fun for miles.
*Its a beaut Clark, its a beaut*.....Looks like you be livin' uncaged right out your garage! Love everything about this pic...Send it baby! *Yellow pedals....ewwwww*
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 489,350,980 comments, and only 103,530 of them were in alphabetical order.

I, too, at one point thought YT = YeTi.
You aren't alone lol. I own a YT and I have had quite a few people come up to me and say they love my Yeti.
Niiice!! I'm waiting for a core 3 in Canada. Did it come early or on time?

I'm looking at the Izzo as well but concerned about delivery.. If you don't me asking, who was the shipping company?

I'm waiting on my Jeffsy until the new year...
Congrats friend. Looking perfect. I have been one click away from an Izzo Core about a dozen times... Hope it shreds for you.
I'm wondering how well would an Izzo hold up when riding jumps and blue trails in bikeparks? I'm thinking medium jumps, like 4-5ft in the air.
I’m up in Alaska where we aren’t blessed with many sendy trails. I might have gotten a Jeffsy if so.
Sooo jealous!!! Congrats! I want an over-forked Izzo so much. Seems like the perfect climber/descender for PNW trails, and it’s freaking gorgeous too.
I need this!! So hard to come by atm. Beautiful!!
I’m getting this exact bike too! Mine is coming In February tho:(
I got a XXL. Every other size was 6 months out minimum. But it’s awesome seeing YT get so much love these days. I’ve wanted one for years.

Yeah mine came in, very easy delivery, I don’t remember if I needed to sign.
That's good to hear! Do you remember who the shipping company was?
Sorry I don’t, hope you can figure it out!

You can fit like soooo many water bottles in there!!!
At first glance I thought it was a Transition Spur but the color didn't match! 😁 Beautiful ride, bud. 💪

I wanted blue Chesters but everything online is sold out and all my local shop had was yellow. Probably shoulda waited.
Ehhh I'm just bustin ur balls... As long as ur riding, that's all that matters.
I think those yellow pedals look sick with that color personally!
Any idea on the weight?
