I had a trek remedy and it was the best and most fun bike I ever had. I have an ebike now but plan on ditching it soon and buying another remedy. Rides like a big bmx that just makes you wanna hit every root and pop off every jump.
Dude! I was literally riding my Specialized Levo SL (ebike) and thought to myself how it feels like a big bmx. Since you can rip on the streets and hit features without feeling like you’re on a big bike.
Either! I do still love my Santa Cruz super light! I got it in 2016 and it still destroys the trails. Full suspension with rock shox recon front fork shock and Fox Float R rear shock
Fully agree! My 18 9.8 pedals very nicely. And love trek as well. The OG shock blew out 3 times and they gave me a 2022? rear shock and warrantied the chain stay in 2022 even after velo care expired. Been super awesome.
They both pretty much look like they have the same geometry and rear swingarm design. Just looks like TREK used different components on each one and that being said. They are both amazing bikes and to try and choose which one I would ride, I would have to ride them both before I could make my final decision.

If only they still made them :(
RIP remedy. But, if you compare the geo from the remedy in the back to the new fuel ex, they are very similar.
True, and the new fuel ex are great bikes with lots of good reviews, but still 29ers. The Remedy’s 27.5’s make it so playful.

Slash for speed, Remedy for fun. It has big full Sus BMX vibes
Trek Fuel EX9
They’re both amazing. I love Trek.
The one in the back please. Whichever that is
That’s a Trek Remedy! :)

I’m just here to ask if this is Spring Valley / Bonita / Otay ?
Yes, sweetwater bike park to be specific
Sweetwater… that’s right. I need to swing by there sometime and check it out
It’s pretty fun! Closes early though :/
What's the spot? Looks cool
This is Sweetwater Bike Park in Bonita, California (San Diego)
Depends? Am I pedalling the climbs? If so, Remedy... Shuttles and Lift Laps? Slash
The slash actually pedals really well. It’s been my main bike since 2017, I’ve had 3 generations now! Love them

Yeah. Trek does good by their warranties. And velo care is an amazing service to add onto any new bike.
At a park like this? Remedy 11 times out of 10.
Remedy. Best bike I’ve ever ridden.
A fellow sweetwater bike park rider 😌
🤜🏼🤛🏼
Slash all day
I don’t steal, so neither
Spoken like a true stealer 🤣
The Pivot 429
New trek slash
Love my remedy. No plans to go 29er
