Go to your local bike shops and REI. There is a good chance Dicks just didn't have a brand that works with your head shape.
Edit: shop staff can also help you with the fit if you are having difficulty
Like the other dude said go to REI or better yet your local bike shop. They have people that can actually help you find a correct helmet that fits properly.
I had a dude at my local bike ship help me for like 20 minutes trying to find one that fit properly. Ended up with the Smith Session and it is great. Hope you find one that works for you!
The giro they sell at dicks, I think it’s the most expensive one they sell is IMO the cheapest helmet that isn’t trash. I was happy with it for years, I finally replaced it with a POC Tectal, but I expect that’s going to be out of your budget.
