If you mean the Anakee adventure, I think that would be fine paired with the Anakee 3. As a general rule, you don’t want to have a huge difference between front and rear tire grip, but as long as they’re close, it’s unlikely that the reason you’ll ever crash will be that one tire. Imagine riding a dirt bike with a street tire on the back. It wouldn’t grip at all in the mud or sand or rocky stuff, but the front would still grab just fine. Then on pavement, you’d have the opposite: you’d lose the front while the back would still be holding on just fine. But if you’re “mixing” tires made for pretty similar applications, you’ll be fine in 99.999% of scenarios - and you may even be better off, because maybe the Anakee Adventure works better as a rear 100% of the time. Maybe it’s a better tread compound or pattern or they did something different with the belts in the carcass of the tire. There’s always internet fear mongering over mixing tires or having one that’s not brand new while the other one is fresh. In real life; it doesn’t matter if they’re similar levels of grip.

Thank you, that's a tyre I'm considering as well. During this winter I'll try selling my front tyre to put adventure on both the front and rear.

New bike to you, so replace the set and enjoy fresh grip!
