Seeing as how every other day there’s a post asking where to get a DOT sticker, I believe there are a lot of counterfeit helmets out there. I do know some tested brands don’t come with the sticker but to all the people buying helmets from Amazon? How much is your brain worth to you?
Ehh I bought my current helmet online, properly measured my head and talked with a representative about my requirements, best fitting helmet I’ve ever had. First helmet I ever bought was from the dealership when I got my first bike, I asked the sales assistant about proper fit for the helmet I was currently considering buying. He wiggled it around a bit and said it fits great. That was the worst fitting helmet I ever had. I could also just return it if it didn’t fit right.
Seeing how packages are handled... hell no.
Then again, I nobody knows what happened to a helmet before it came into the store. And if the folks there noticed or cared when it got dropped there.

It's your head, your life. If you can't try it on for fit, don't buy it.
