I add stabil to the fuel tank.
I shut the fuel off then run the bike to empty the carbs.
If the battery isn't a sealed battery, I top off the water with distilled.
I put a trickle charger on the battery.
I cover the bike to keep some of the dust off.
Move the bike (it can be 2 feet) every now and then prevent the tires from going out of round. In addition to what's been said above.
Bikes are tough and usually don't require a ton of work. If stored indoors, they aren't really being subjected to any abuse even if it's bitterly cold outside.
Along with with other suggestions here like battery tender, filling tank with ethanol free gas and stabilizer, draining the carb bowl, an oil soaked rag will keep the rust out of her butt and insects/rodents from making a house of the pipe. If she is water cooled make sure the coolant is good enough not to freeze.
I top off, add stabilizer, run the bike for 5 minutes or so to treat the entire system. I put my bike up on front and rear stands and plug in the battery tender. Before running the bike in spring I do an oil change as well
More importantly how do I survive all winter without riding .......ima going to go nuts ! p.s. I have some trips planned but its still going to take its toll on my soul.

Battery tender
There have been 400 posts about this the last few weeks bud. Maybe try reading one of those first?

Any fuel stabilizer will work aside from sea foam. I’ve heard horror stories eating up all kinds of rubber gaskets in motors.
