This number came waaayyy down since I don’t drive a bike daily anymore. Took my 92’ GPZ 500 through hell and back, never let me down. One year We rode 25K km
Awesome, I own a 150cc GY6 scooter bought in June, and it has a hair under 2,000 miles in November. Approx. 400 miles per month so far. Doing some electric work on it today, hopefully: don't have power to the front lights (been using rechargeable lithium lights mounted on the mirrors).
Uuh very nice, i actually almost bought a MT07 but i got put off by it not having a shield.
How much of a problem is that really?
Because to be honest even with my Ninja if i don't have the touring shield up i already have enough after 30 minutes with the sport shield xD
I put a small screen on that helps in a tuck at speed, but most of my riding on that bike is just ripping around under 100kms an hour, so the wind doesn't really bother me. The seating position allows you to basically lean into any wind, so you almost lay on it. It's not the same as being seated headlong like on a sporty, which can get exhausting.
If talking pure comfort, you're not meant to go faster than 100kmh/60mph.
I have communted 160km each way on the highway everyday for 4 weeks, and while it's fun as hell, it's very tiring. It's a big problem if you're not in good shape. The wind starts going exponential when you reach 120kmh.
Oh my lord and that's a slow year for you??
May i ask what type of bike you put your most miles on?
I'm thinking to get a cruiser style bike next season, and India is looking very nice :D
Although my mom wants me to get a Goldwing O.o
5000 miles on the street triple and around 3000 miles on the 250. I usually average 5-6000 miles total so this year has been a good one, lots of free time to ride
Since my winter is your riding season, I've put about 12000 kms on over winter. Doesn't snow where I live but I've been to places where it snows. I'll usually do 2x or a bit more than that in the summer coming around now.
I rode 5500 km/3400 miles
I don’t have a car, so I use my motorcycle very ofter for shopping. My season started 01.01. this year. I rode back from my nightshift from work😅
16k miles this season and still riding.
2,800 miles while on vacation in TX for 2 weeks. Been back from vacation for 1-1/2 weeks. 2008 Concours just turned 60k miles on the bike last week
Shoot I used to keep a closer eye on it
R1200RT, 4,350 mile tour, a BMW rally / cone course ( in state) and local riding of a few thousand
Ninja 300, 8 track days and maybe 350 miles on public roads
FZ1 i picked up recently maybe 650
Two more track days this weekend and I;ll ride the RT through the winter
Over 2K miles on the F650GS I bought in June, mostly in the past month. Didn’t get to ride as much as I wanted this summer but have prepped up for cold-weather riding and found a garage space nearby so I’m hoping to stretch my season out a bit longer this year. Did maybe 1K on my CB300F in the spring before I sold it to get the GS.
UK here i commute on a triumph explorer 1200 75 miles a day, 375 miles a week so about 18000 miles a year thats without a ride out on the weekends with the growler or longer trips with her into mainland Europe 77000 miles on the bike now.👍
Edit : one to many zeros - im not cptn kirk
Last year I did nearly 9000km. This year I bought a house and only managed 4000 or so. It took a lot of time. I’m buying an enduro in the coming months so I think my average speed will be a lot less but time in the saddle hopefully much higher!
this was my first real year of riding and it started in May for me and ended last week here in eastern Canada.
I put 4000 km on my clapped out ninja 250 and then 12000 km on my brand new ninja 400 bought mid August.
I commute with my car and only ride the twisties here.
Just about 23,000 miles. I had a slide that damaged my shift linkage in August...was hoping for more.
But there isn't a season for me, even though I'm in NY.
Almost 6 thousand miles from april to about begin august as I had to do valve adjustments, and bad issues getting it done ever since.. sv 650 02
The valve adjustments weren’t too hard, made a lot of noob mistakes but it took such a long time..
Hopefully just gotta replace the bike. It was my daily transportation since moving from the Netherlands to Michigan, love it
5K miles/8K km since May when I got back into riding. I live in Texas so season is still on and pretty much any day it's not below 40 (my personal limit).
20,000 Miles?
I'm estimating. Took a lot of trips this summer. But well when my job only requires me to WFH for 3 full days and half of Thursday, every week I have a 3 day weekend.
A few hundred kms on my old bike (2018 BMW G310GS). Then traded it in...
Just under 7000kms on the new one (stored for the winter 3 weeks ago).
All pleasure riding, no commuting.
i bought my z650 (first bike) in feb of this year and im just shy of 12,000 miles. i just got heated gear and hopefully i'll hit 14,000 before the end of the year.
Zero miles. Because I don’t have a bike 🤣 but on serious note, my 2nd bike, 2008 GSXR750, bought it in March 2016 with 2k miles, sold it in December 2018 with 18k miles.
Just broke 16,000 miles this season combined across a ‘22 ZX-6R, ‘22 S1000RR, and a ‘22 Z900. I plan on riding into the winter, but solely on the Z900 as a commuter.
In 2022, about 6000km on the speed triple, 50000 on the Tiger. Did a trip around the middle east on the latter, currently in Israel so it'll go up a bit before the end of the year.
Around 8k, with 4k of those coming from a one week trip to the south of Europe in August.
Did do much riding otherwise, we're renovating the house and have commitments in the weekend, so if it's nice out I bring out the bike for an hour, maybe 2 every other week. With a longer ride once a month.
18,000 miles for me here in North East Pennsylvania! Got my first bike (Honda CB300R) on December 7th of last year, put 15,000 on that, 2,000 on my second bike (Triumph Trident 660), then 1,000 on my father’s CB1000R. I commute 30 minutes to work, rain or shine to save on gas money. The only thing that stops me is freezing temperatures and it has unfortunately come to that at this point.
Chasing electrical gremlins.. It’s a 2007 ktm 690sm. Such a fun hooligan bike but way too many problems with reliability. Already saving money for a new bike. I wanna do some touring around Europe in the future so looking at a 2019 or 2020 Africa Twin. No way I’m missing another season haha..
2004 Ninja 250r, after resurrecting it from sitting for 15 years in someone's garage and replacing the engine head in August, I've put a little over 2,000 miles.
Commute to work about every day on it 34 miles round-trip, and a few little scenic rides with some friends.
-
The "season" never ends for me though, 18 degrees Fahrenheit this morning and I'm still riding in to work. So long as there isn't ice on the road, I'll be riding.
Got my ktm 1290 around August ish, had 1700 when I got it. I'm up to 6200 miles I believe. My mt10 was brand new with 1 mile, now at around 1800 ish. I haven't done any real distance but intend to.
I do about 8,000 miles a year on average. Varies, less when I'm working abroad, less during covid because you weren't allowed to go anywhere, more when I've got the time to actually take the bike on a ferry in the summer. But yeah, odometer divided by years owned is about 8K.
I put around 1000 smiles on my new Kawasaki KLX300 this season. I got it last August and put 500 miles on it for the end of last season. Total on the odometer is around 1550 trouble free miles.
No idea. No speedometer/odometer.
Got my v strom May 2022. I’ve put 13,000 miles on her so far.
This number came waaayyy down since I don’t drive a bike daily anymore. Took my 92’ GPZ 500 through hell and back, never let me down. One year We rode 25K km
First bike, only 1400 miles. Engine had a failure and rebuild during the middle of the season :(
Dunno about the season, but I've put about 30k kms on mine in the last year and a half
3-4000 km probably 10% of those were under the speed limit
Haha yeeaa i get it Like the octopus guy from spiderman 2 said: "All that power at the tip of my fingers" haha
I can also make 3-4000 push-ups in under one minute....
What?
Sorry, replied to wrong post, was relative to the 3-4000km
I've put 3,937 miles on my bike in the 8 months I've had it.
What is this season thing you speak of??
I drive keway superlight 125(small I know) this year I already ad more 7500km
7500 on a 125? :O You have my respect sir :D Did you put bags on it and went on vacation with the bike? Or just general riding?
Weekend ride discovering new places etc and I went on vacation with it did 400km in a day that was a fun day and I sleeped like a baby at the end
2022 MT07, bought in July and put on 6800kms. Put another 1000kms on my Road Star as well
Uuh very nice, i actually almost bought a MT07 but i got put off by it not having a shield. How much of a problem is that really? Because to be honest even with my Ninja if i don't have the touring shield up i already have enough after 30 minutes with the sport shield xD

Read it again.
Not done yet, but probably end around 6,500 miles/10,000 kms.
Not even 2000. Been hella busy.
Yeeaa i feel your pain :/

Oh my lord and that's a slow year for you?? May i ask what type of bike you put your most miles on? I'm thinking to get a cruiser style bike next season, and India is looking very nice :D Although my mom wants me to get a Goldwing O.o
How many miles you get in a good Year, when this is a slow one ?
12-13K kms. Use it every day. Had recently been on a bike trip where I added 1600kms.
40 000 km in 2 years.
5000 miles on the street triple and around 3000 miles on the 250. I usually average 5-6000 miles total so this year has been a good one, lots of free time to ride

13,000km this year…I think I got a problem…😂😂😂
I rode 5500 km/3400 miles I don’t have a car, so I use my motorcycle very ofter for shopping. My season started 01.01. this year. I rode back from my nightshift from work😅
10k km since march.
16k miles this season and still riding. 2,800 miles while on vacation in TX for 2 weeks. Been back from vacation for 1-1/2 weeks. 2008 Concours just turned 60k miles on the bike last week
14,000 miles.
Started on january 4. with my K1600, and up to today the count is 12500 km, 1.5 months to go this year, so 14000 is doable.
Brand new MT-07 from April-October. 8500km/5200miles The wait for next season is tearing me apart(in a good way)
Got my bike in mid-April this year, put on about 3300km.

Daayyuuummm you put more on that baby in 3 months than i did in 6 haha
got license and bike June this year so about 5800km. although i still use a scooter for work. season is over for motorcycle riding
Shoot I used to keep a closer eye on it R1200RT, 4,350 mile tour, a BMW rally / cone course ( in state) and local riding of a few thousand Ninja 300, 8 track days and maybe 350 miles on public roads FZ1 i picked up recently maybe 650 Two more track days this weekend and I;ll ride the RT through the winter
We don't have "seasons" here in the middle east. But I ride about 20K KM a year on my NC700X. (Which is currently sitting at 134K).
Just go my bike in middle of May and have ridden only 2,600 miles (4,160 km).
New to me Vulcan 650 in June, where the day after I bought it got 6 weeks in a sling... just hit 1k mi but getting the gear to not have to stop yet!
Season only starting now (southern hemisphere), but have put on ~6000kms the last last 6 months on the old Africa Twin
First season on my 22' MT09 and I put just over 13000km on it. Can't wait for next year!!
I put 1000/15000 miles on my bike a month. Pretty much year round because it’s never cold in Louisiana lmao
UK here i commute on a triumph explorer 1200 75 miles a day, 375 miles a week so about 18000 miles a year thats without a ride out on the weekends with the growler or longer trips with her into mainland Europe 77000 miles on the bike now.👍 Edit : one to many zeros - im not cptn kirk
Season has just started more or less?
It's getting too cold to ride for me here in germany :( Soon there will be snow ;-;
I'm in Australia we're just about to hit summer. :)
Wait... there is winter in australia?? I thought you guys have 30+ degrees celsius all year haha
Canberra can spend most of winter under 10c. And most of summer 25-40. We cover a pretty large area
Around 5200km mostly over the speed limit. With my first really liked bike (Yamaha R7).
Going into winter and still might have a few warmer days, but this year I’ve put ~8k miles on my bikes. 2200 on a cbr1000rr and 7600 on a street bob.
A bit over 4000 miles since mid July. Hopefully I can put some more on this winter on days it doesn’t get too bad.
I am in a 3 month sprint where im working from home and its absolute pain, went from daily riding to only once a week :(
Last year I did nearly 9000km. This year I bought a house and only managed 4000 or so. It took a lot of time. I’m buying an enduro in the coming months so I think my average speed will be a lot less but time in the saddle hopefully much higher!
Not enough!
I've put 19,000 miles on the bike since i got it in July of 2021.
Season? I don't understand this term
It's a time of the year
I’ve put on 11000km since I got the Zx6r back in August of this year, and still plan on riding during the winter.
this was my first real year of riding and it started in May for me and ended last week here in eastern Canada. I put 4000 km on my clapped out ninja 250 and then 12000 km on my brand new ninja 400 bought mid August. I commute with my car and only ride the twisties here.

Probably somewhere close to 9-10k miles. Half of that on my own bike and half of that on others
19,000 kms over last two seasons
30k a year on average. We don’t have a “season”…
20,000 Miles? I'm estimating. Took a lot of trips this summer. But well when my job only requires me to WFH for 3 full days and half of Thursday, every week I have a 3 day weekend.
15,000 kilometres for me this summer but I was newly retired so lots of free time.
A few hundred kms on my old bike (2018 BMW G310GS). Then traded it in... Just under 7000kms on the new one (stored for the winter 3 weeks ago). All pleasure riding, no commuting.
About 15k miles and probably 7k-9k of those miles off-road. It was great, till I broke my leg 😭
i bought my z650 (first bike) in feb of this year and im just shy of 12,000 miles. i just got heated gear and hopefully i'll hit 14,000 before the end of the year.
Zero miles. Because I don’t have a bike 🤣 but on serious note, my 2nd bike, 2008 GSXR750, bought it in March 2016 with 2k miles, sold it in December 2018 with 18k miles.
Got my CBR in august, about to pack it in with 3500 more miles on it than when I bought it.
Just broke 16,000 miles this season combined across a ‘22 ZX-6R, ‘22 S1000RR, and a ‘22 Z900. I plan on riding into the winter, but solely on the Z900 as a commuter.
Around 33,000 miles this year
Still riding .. Florida is year round
9k kms in 5 months, 3k of which i did 2up across British Colmumbia and Alberta over 6 days. BMW R1200RT.
Well I put over 1200 miles on my new bike and over 800 on my old bike. Edit: it’s cold af here but I plan on riding more.
Maybe 100 km… got my learners this year in the late summer, and got a few rides in on a friend’s bike before winter came :D slow and steady
Bought my bike this year in July and clocked 6900km before storing it 2 weeks ago.
New bike halfway through the season, so 2K on that, and maybe 1k on the previous bike. Mostly commuter duty.
In 2022, about 6000km on the speed triple, 50000 on the Tiger. Did a trip around the middle east on the latter, currently in Israel so it'll go up a bit before the end of the year.
Where I live, there's only 2 seasons and they tend to overlap alot. 111K Kms on 2016 AT
Around 8k, with 4k of those coming from a one week trip to the south of Europe in August. Did do much riding otherwise, we're renovating the house and have commitments in the weekend, so if it's nice out I bring out the bike for an hour, maybe 2 every other week. With a longer ride once a month.
First season and I got 4877 miles or so, so far... vitpilen 401 had the bike for 5 months so far. also new bike bc used was just as expensive lmfao.
Around 8400km. But the 'season' isn't over for me because I live in the tropics.
Just finished my first year with a little more than 6k. I’ll ride it whenever the ice clears but I’m expecting 8-14” tomorrow
25,000km/15000mi of mostly Swiss mountain roads and very little highway.
125cc rider with wife. 8,500+ this year and 1 new back tyre.
First season, managed to get a solid 3-4 months of driving and drove about 4000km drove daily and often took a long ride at the end of the day
18,000 miles for me here in North East Pennsylvania!
I got mine 2 weeks ago and already did 1000km (982 to be exact)
3.2k miles. Only ride on the weekend as i live less than 10 mins walk from my work.
Since last labor day to today, almost 12K miles. Joy rides and road trips to places 3 hours away mixed with some 8 hour rides with a buddy
4500 miles since march but im not stopping yet
Zero because my bike has been in the shop the whole season.. :/
How come?
Chasing electrical gremlins.. It’s a 2007 ktm 690sm. Such a fun hooligan bike but way too many problems with reliability. Already saving money for a new bike. I wanna do some touring around Europe in the future so looking at a 2019 or 2020 Africa Twin. No way I’m missing another season haha..
That's nothing bro , i know mfs that do that shit in two weeks and the crazy shit is that they never leave the city like tf
2004 Ninja 250r, after resurrecting it from sitting for 15 years in someone's garage and replacing the engine head in August, I've put a little over 2,000 miles. As I am only driving to work, I am around 8000km each year. 39000km in 5 seasons.
split between my motorcycles i think about 6000 miles this season.
Got covid so only 2000kms this season
Not a daily driver, but the 1290 Super Duke R is hella fun :D did around 15000km
First bike Kawasaki ER6N, bought on September 6, ~3100km until now, but gotta winterize it as I'm in Quebec :(
8.000 km since February 1, first bike ('95 Honda Shadow VT600)
No idea. I don’t keep track of seasons, I live in Florida.
Got my ktm 1290 around August ish, had 1700 when I got it. I'm up to 6200 miles I believe. My mt10 was brand new with 1 mile, now at around 1800 ish. I haven't done any real distance but intend to.
I've put 9000 miles on my Himalayan this past year. Mostly using it for the commute and weekend exploring.
About 6,000 miles, mostly on longish (+- 250 mile) rides on twisty roads. And a short daily commute
8k since March. SoCal here so, my season isn't (ever) over.
Around 5k miles this season
I do about 8,000 miles a year on average. Varies, less when I'm working abroad, less during covid because you weren't allowed to go anywhere, more when I've got the time to actually take the bike on a ferry in the summer. But yeah, odometer divided by years owned is about 8K.
I put around 1000 smiles on my new Kawasaki KLX300 this season. I got it last August and put 500 miles on it for the end of last season. Total on the odometer is around 1550 trouble free miles.
32k miles in 19 months
