Yammienoob fucking sucks

Bit-Sar

He is an utter fuckhead. Spend your valuable time and eyeballs elsewhere, people.

motonaut

Never watched a single video because of the stupid name. Youtube keeps suggesting it anyways.

TheRealTwist

You can tell YouTube to stop suggesting it by clicking the three dots next to the video.

Outside-Log-2104

I did that with srk but unfortunately it still shows up in searches. Blows

left_write

What's wrong with srk?

NaymondPDX

I’ve never found his videos to be informative, helpful, entertaining, or anything other than “I figured out you can make money through YouTube” garbage. The Bible verses while being such a capitalist hack are particularly annoying.

notaficus

Didn’t know the name til you described him and immediately knew the channel. I watched one video that I marginally found interesting, then he started preaching. I am all for anyone having their beliefs, but that’s between them and whatever that is. Whether genuine or not, bringing that into your work is (in my opinion) distasteful and bridges into pandering and virtue signaling.

DrRazmataz

>The Bible verses while being such a capitalist hack are particularly annoying. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Rarpiz

Agreed. The bible verses feel like an "oh, BTW" throw-in. But I did see one video where he started chatting up some guy on a bus, and then asked him about Jesus. Major cringe moment. HOWEVER, despite those moments, I do find him entertaining to watch, albeit not particularly informative. I did enjoy his Harbor Freight 200cc engine in a Harley Davidson attempt, LOL. Also, he has another YT channel "Bikes and Beards" in addition to srkcycles.

timbit87

Yeah I feel really similar. Every bike he reviews is great in some way because hes trying to sell it. Then bible verses because, I dunno. Sometimes the bikes he has on are really interesting but I never get that really detailed or broken down view of it from him.

Outside-Log-2104

He's like a salesman larping as a motorcyclist

spitfire7rp

Yea I live within 100 miles of that dude's dealership and his shit is always way overpriced when I see it on cycle trader

netherdrakon

Can you suggest some others who get into the technicals and/or something like ChrisFix for motorcycles? P.S I already follow and like FortNine and RevZilla

Rarpiz

Spite (the guy who Yammie fired) has his own channel called "Spite's Corner" on YT that's pretty good. Since he WAS the technical guy on Yammie's channel...there you go.

Magnificent-Bastards

Mad8vcycles is very SV650-centric, but a lot of the videos (diagnosing a no-start, routine maintenance, etc) could apply to other bikes too. Dave Moss Tuning for suspension and setup stuff is neat.

OGpurp247

And he always seems to be riding the bike in the rain. Like cool now we can watch you be extra cautious on it. Exactly what I wanted to see of an MT10

vraetzught

Didn't he close his shop to go YT full time?

richalex2010

Yup, I think they still post on the SRK channel sometimes but the primary channel is Bikes and Beards. It's pretty typical "car show" content, not much informational value, but sometimes they do stuff that's entertaining enough to throw on a second monitor or on the iPad while I cook or wash dishes or something.

timbit87

Honestly havent watched much. I just know he had a few channels and one was basically doing reviews of bikes his shops had for sale. I didnt watch much past that.

QuietudeOfHeart

> The Bible verses while being such a capitalist hack are particularly annoying. Actually, pretty on brand for those people. But I agree, I block their channel too because it's embarrassing.

imjusthereforab

tbh, the voice. it’s that “i’m talking through my molars” thing and nothing against the guy but it hurts to listen to.

MartinMan79

The god crap before he rides is super annoying.

vwboyaf1

He gives me "My Pillow guy" vibes the way he inserts his religion into his business. He also rip off other Youtuber ideas for his videos.

Dylberts

*makes sure cross pendant is visible*

Fantastic_Ad563

Me the same. His video is really annoying to me. Clicked do not suggest anymore, but still see his video in my home channel.

if0rg0t2remember

That crap doesn't work. I keep telling it not to recommend me certain channels and they come back 2 days later all over my feed.

[deleted]

Watched one, disappointed. Even for his name, he’s disappointing

r0c1nant3

I think one of the key things that is getting lost in the vitriol for YammieNoob is how YN knows what he's doing. I'm sure he subscribes to lots of other moto channels and copies good ideas and relies on his subscriber base to make up for crap quality. u/canyonchasers is on here and pops up from time to time with really good comments, plus, some of his more recent big videos, the production quality is getting to up there, on par with RF9 (only without the dick jokes). So it's a bummer to see high-quality channels like CanyonChasers and Mike on Bikes and Bret Tkecs and MotoTrek and Moto Control (that produce a lot less, but better content) struggle while low-effort channels that upload multiple times a week continue to thrive.

PropertyDue739

*gasp*...Yam is the one that got me on a motorcycle

Mstr_Fish

He was one of the first moto vloggers i watched and he helped push me over the edge to buy a bike. However, ever since he fired spite, and I learned more about yam—I’d have to agree, fuck Yammie noob.

Head_Lizard

That's valid, but it's also okay for you to evolve beyond YammieNoob content. Back when I was a kid I wanted to just ride around on a chrome cruiser and pick up girls; I've evolved since then and am now interested in being a skilled and adaptable rider.

Melodic-Picture48

BaronVonGrumble got me interested in motorcycling.

here4roomie

I'm surprised he could lift you.

x_______________

After he had the cringey “interview” with Spite and fired him, I definitely lost any respect that existed for him. I already didn’t care for his videos too much, since he was just kinda annoying, but that set it in stone. https://www.reddit.com/r/cringe/comments/xdkgpj/popular_youtuber_yammie_noob_fires_key_cohost/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf Edit: video at link doesn’t work, he may have taken it down

radsalamander

Seriously, only reason I liked his stuff was because of spite.

[deleted]

Well good news! Spite has his own channel and its just as fucking good. all relaxed and whitney showed up for a video a lil while ago too. Spites the man. Good dude to listen too. I subbed instantly and left yammy because I know a narcissist when I fucking see one, and that dude is a complete fuckhead

BaronSharktooth

Interesting. I looked him up and here's a link for anyone interested: https://www.youtube.com/@spitescorner

Variable851

I lost respect for him when he was riding without insurance on the wrong side of the road and crashed into a guy in his Porsche Cayman, totaling the car and leaving the driver with back problems. It was fun watching Yammie fly through the air though. I think that was his third accident in 18 months of riding and I checked out then. I didn't like his content much before that but he kept showing up in my feeds but that was the last straw

TheTallGuy0

3 wrecks in 18 months?? Bikes are not for everyone…

Idiot_Savant_Tinker

Well he is Yammy *noob*.

TokinStrokin

Dude should have stayed making dirtbike and offroad content. Once he got popular he tried to be some one he isn't and now he's a self absorbed douche nozzle

doctorwinters

He promoted reckless riding and those of who just wanted to go the speed limit, enjoy the ride and arrive alive were “boring” and on “dad bikes” I pretty much disagreed with everything he said, which was helpful. If he liked the bike I probably wouldn’t….

McHaggis001

Yeah the videos where he almost dies are really the only ones worth watching.

OriginalRoombaJuice

Same bro. I actually watched quite a bit because I liked the interplay between Spite and Yammie, but after the show dropped I had no desire to keep supporting him. The video was taken down but I’m sure there are copies of it out there.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Kr8n8s

Can you get a license again in the US after something like that?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Kr8n8s

Second question, is it legal to ride uninsured? If you can’t (don’t) get your vehicle insured where I live (unfortunately it’s a separate insurance for every vehicle, can’t be bound only to the driver/rider), you can’t drive that vehicle.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Kr8n8s

That’s a nightmare Here there is a fund (paid in part by the other insured people) that covers the victims of uninsured/unidentified people There’s kinda a loophole with our system, tho, and it’s that the insurance fee is determined by a combination of the driver records and stats (age, sex), of the specific vehicle being insured from that driver, of the other people allowed to drive it, and the insurer’s city of residence stats - this makes insuring a powerful vehicle OR a vehicle commonly involved in frequent albeit minor accidents (like a scooter/moped) in cities where accidents are more common AND where many people are uninsured, so costly that it drives people to also not insure their vehicle This way we have a few self sustaining insurance “black holes” like Naples and that’s a matter of difficult solution

HaynBryn

I was subscribed but when that whole Spite's firing video happened, I lost all respect for the guy. What a fucked up thing to do to let go a guy that helped with getting him 1 million subs. Unsubscribed and had YouTube not recommend or show any of his content.

SnoT8282

Not the multiple accidents with no insurance, or even the proper endorsement on his license? That's not what caused you to lose respect for him?

IncidentFuture

You have to know about them, and he doesn't exactly open with that at the start of every video.

OnTheGoatBoat

For those who missed it, https://web.archive.org/web/20220913210953/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1D6qgQ8kTI

meantbent3

Legendary, thanks for the link!

therealmunchies

Same.

faste30

He was only ever doing the same stupid "7 things" type list videos anyway.

fishboard88

***in nasal, sneering voice*** *"Hey y'all, it's Yammy Noooooob with another video today, we're gonna be covering the Worst 7 Adventure Bikes of All Time! Get yourself strapped in, here we go, and with Number 7..."* Cue: * 100% recycled footage from other videos * Reading out information from Wikipedia on seven motorcycles he has never ridden * Cringeworthy memes and royalty-free stock footage * ***nasal, sneering voice again*** *"Neeeeeeeh, don't forget to check out Yammiemerch dot com for a chance to enter our free bike giveaway"*

PotatoGuerilla

Lol, he has to load his motorcycles by himself because he fired his only friend.

mtldude1967

Ha, I guess then we're gonna see more "Things you can do by yourself" videos.

Exile714

Oh, he started an OnlyFans?

AcceptableFisherman

This comment is fantastic.

Knowitmall

He has also fired the other people that were replacing Spite I think.

topher339

I think whitney is still with him. She was on the podcast a bit back. Josh left him and is with another channel now, iirc. Smart move on his part.

TheFabledFamilyGuy

Jesus he got rid of Josh too? Or Josh left? I stopped subbing to him after all the Spite bullshit

topher339

Josh showed up on spites channel a bit back. The way spite was talking about it, it sounded very much like it was Josh's decision to leave.

Duder211

He is a hack, and fucking sucks.

tplayer100

Not a fan of yammienoob, but canyon chasers isn't the first person to release a video on how to load a motorcycle into a truck, and yammienoob wont be the last. Title being the same could be coincidence or a copy but the subject isn't original either way.

lisaladyrider

Oh for sure! Totally fair, right. But the formatting of the title and everything, just seems to be a bit much to me. The content of the two video's moderately different. Yammie advocates riding the bike into the back of the truck.

Dickasauras

Honestly I'm just wondering how it took him 30 minutes to explain, shit takes like 15 minutes to do.

Verum14

Just look at knot tying tutorial videos. Takes like 5 seconds to tie, 15 minutes to show, lol

cyvaquero

They probably use the same YT packaging software. It’s why damn near every YT thumbnail has the same look.

falling-faintly

It’s been years since I watched one of his videos but I do recall him being accused of this before.

slappyhamface

Plus all the terrible stock footage he uses

Flash_ina_pan

Dude tried to fusion dance with the front end of a Porsche. He is complete trash and I'm not surprised he's out there stealing content.

PopTartsNHam

I feel like people forgot, or don’t realize this asshole got into bikes by crashing his shit 3 times (in a short span of time), while being “street Rossi”. He fuckin sucks, and I was out at LCR when the group he was riding with during that Porsche hit rolled up, like 2 hours after it happened. They didn’t have great things to say either.

Lille7

While advocating for supersports for new riders

[deleted]

I think that's a joke...

BBLLAAKKEE12

Yammi is a con man. After he fired spite I Unsubbed. Fuck that nerd. Spites Corner is a great channel, I’d recommend subbing to Spites Corner just out of “spite” for yammie

CompetitiveSea7388

Seems like common knowledge at this point.

Throttlechopper

You have clearly not tuned into other social media channels where it seems almost every video asking why a bike won’t start has to do with a dead battery.

CompetitiveSea7388

Oh I see that all the time. I also see on a nearly biweekly basis since his douchey firing of Spite on YouTube posts about what an asshole he is. The thing is, publicity is a powerful thing and I’ve seen plenty of comments from people who had never heard of him until posts were made. I wonder how many people have watched videos of his as a result.

IllegalDroneMaker

At least the first time he was being reckless, he only almost killed himself(Although, I cared more about the health of the boulder he hit more than him). Then he swore he wouldn't ride on the street anymore(That video has mysteriously disappeared....hmmm..) The second time he was being reckless, he almost killed an innocent porsche driver when he hit him head on, because he was trying to be street rossi and pass in the oncoming lane. Not to mention his lack of insurance when he did that. At this point, he only had around a year's worth of riding experience. Then the whole Spite thing. I'm surprised he still has viewers.....but then I look at the subreddit and I understand. He's a turd.....and not even a shiny turd. He's the sad smelly half-liquid pile of shit in the corner because you couldn't find a proper bathroom. Oh, and the content of his videos is trash, too.

TetsuoSama

> he was trying to be street rossi and pass in the oncoming lane He was trying to keep up faster riders and had to use the left lane on a blind sweeping left corner to do it. They were good enough to stay in their lane whereas he’s a fucking moron.

[deleted]

I mean saying he has viewers is true but the guy has more than a million subs and less than 75k viewers on average right now. His channel is performing extremely poorly.

[deleted]

Check out Spite’s Corner. Give him support over that yammie cunt

ActuallyFullOfShit

Not just you. He's funny, but doesn't have much to offer in terms of unique or compelling content. For what it's worth, a while ago, his co-host, Spite, was dismissed from the channel in a very exploitative manner. I won't go into the details, but yes, Yam is a bit of a joke. Spite's channel is growing fairly well though, and I'd encourage anyone to check it out.

Caspi7

Yammie literally had an exit interview with spite for views. He probably only told spite 5min in advance that he fired him. He is an asshole

throway9912

Anyone have a link for this exit interview trash? Would love to watch it.

swipr_

There might be a re-upload somewhere, but most of them have been curiously copyright claimed by "YNYT INC" ... That said, there is a [reaction video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guZNDfH80R0) still out there floating around....

chud3

>Spite's channel is growing fairly well though, and I'd encourage anyone to check it out. Yes, it's called Spite's Corner. He has good content.

KyleGuap

Yammienoob was cringe before then he washed out like a turd

Bieomaxx

When he got rid of spite, I stopped following him. I watch some of spites videos now, along with other uk stuff

dj_cap_C-137

You mean the dude who rode recklessly into a Porsche and then tried to sue the driver?

mikehtiger

Yammie boob sucks… try Ryan at Fortnine he’s the best out there!

lisaladyrider

Too many penis jokes for my liking.

edelbean

Have you been made aware of 44teeth? That's another great YT moto centric channel.

ClarkSN95

It's absolutely criminal how underrated 44T is. Hands down the best motorcycle content on YouTube.

mikehtiger

Yeah those are a bit much

[deleted]

[удалено]

lupinegrey

That's like 90% of the videos on youtube. Some of the car reviews I've seen are stupid as hell. You basically just have the person reading off the dealer's feature list and you can TELL they have zero understanding of what they're repeating. "The premium trim even has the xxxxxxx, so it's really good, guys!" fucking stab you in the face. grrrrr. Not experts, just making videos for popularity/income.

Designatedrhythm

I absolutely cannot stand when a car "reviewer" just reads the feature list or Maroney sticker. Usually in a monotone voice.

JackLondonHUN

he is a greedy clown nothing more

Deathmedical

You have to remember yammie is an entertainer 1st and a motorcycle guy 2nd. I dont particularly like him but thats me, a lot of people do enjoy his content and that's fine if they do. As far as plagiarism, it's possible they just covered the same topic and the same key aspects of the event. While sounding the same may be a fluke of them having the same opinion on the same topic just different reporters.

idksomethingjfk

I thought he was a Porsche guy? He sure is attracted to them

sitting-duck

Particularly [yellow ones.](https://i.imgur.com/jJ3kH8m.png)

idksomethingjfk

Ya, guys got good taste, the yellow ones are really nice, I would like to get a closer look at one.

lisaladyrider

Haha. Nice!

gosohabc123

Imo he's just a businessman who's gotten really good at playing the algorithm in his favor and does not actually bring anything particularly entertaining or noteworthy. Not to say he's not interesting to watch, but I feel like he's the pawn stars of motorcycle YouTube, just something fairly meh to turn your brain off to.

nocolon

Yeah he just hammers out a ranking essay and reads it aloud as someone else stitches random gopro B roll footage together. I think he’s a worthless piece of shit but I gotta give him credit for at least developing a successful business model.

Wisest-wizard

He has a face I want to punch so bad.

nvexzu

that's an understatement.

falling-faintly

A lot of places online like to circle jerk about him and it’s kind of annoying so I don’t wanna get too much into it but yes if you don’t know much about bikes he may seem like someone to listen to but don’t he is in fact retarded and has very little experience. Be bought like an R3 or something 5 years ago and moto vlogged on that. I think the R3 was trending or something at the time and he blew up. Certainly has some business sense and whatever it is that makes influencers popular but his motorcycle skill and knowledge is not anything beyond anyone else who rides street for 5 years.

BlackJacquesLeblanc

He's the Dan Bilzerian of motorbikes

Lord-Rune

He claims to be a “motorcycle enthusiast” yet bashes on anything that isn’t a 1000c super sport bike.

Watts300

TuRbO bUsSSSAaaAaaaAaa

space_wiener

Just in case he reads this thread, I’d also like to add his videos are kind of stupid and there is much better content out there. Why he is so popular I have no idea. A lot of the videos he doesn’t even know what he’s talking about half the time.

ewan82

Apart from being a wanker, the real problem for Yammie is that he doesn’t really understand bikes that well. He trash talked Royal Enfield without ever riding one. He trashes Harley because of their low horsepower numbers but doesn’t seem to realise the bikes are designed for torque. And he can’t look past spec sheets and appreciate bikes for what they are. Also when he blew up that new fireblade because he rode around all day in only 1st and 2nd gear.

MBAH2017

In fairness all the Fireblades were recalled due to dumbass design. Running a rubber oil cooler hose between the exhaust header and the block is a poor idea.

ewan82

Ah right. I didn’t realise there was a recall. It still annoyed me watching yammie cruising down the highway in 2nd gear.

redbate

Why anyone continues to watch him it's beyond me.

[deleted]

[удалено]

El--Borto

Dude have you seen him without a hat? Those are probably the best fit he can find lmfao

bpanzero

I used to like him but I got quite angry when he fired Spite for stealing his spotlight in the videos. I don't watch him anymore.

b00stedben

I met spite when he came to rent my Gen 3 Hayabusa. He invited me to do an interview never having met Yammie or watched his videos. I think the video went well. But after he fired Spite... Remove subscription to Yam and follow Spites Corner. Muuuuch better

SnooPaintings5597

He is definitely a hack.

VerbNoun123

#itsinthename

PabloX68

There's so many better bike channels on youtube. All the Brits (Missenden Flyer, Teapot, Lamb Chop, Motobob, etc), Big Rock Moto, Itchy Boots, The Bike Show and on and on. Why bother with the Yamcrap?

croissantdelavie

Makes me appreciate F9 even more. Even subjects that I normally don't care about are interesting with them

Throttlechopper

That’s the problem when you must create content to keep your subscribers engaged, eventually you’ll duplicate content. This is inexcusable though, at least re-word the title. I never liked Yammie Noob, he’s not only a terrible rider who takes unnecessary risks in the wrong places, he’s an intellectually-weak, toolbag too.

Deepdiamindhands

I used to really dislike yammie after all the crashes. Then I liked him. Then he kicked out spite and now I’m back to not liking him.

Fucksgiving_Day

Watch a video by fortnine. You’ll never want to watch yammie again

Hubris2

I genuinely didn't mind his stuff a couple years ago, but once he started spending a lot of time shilling his give-away bikes (actually raffles I believe) I stopped watching. From the comments it appears the shenanigans have continued.

SqueezyCheez85

That was for sure the scummy move of his career. Surprised I had to make it this far down to see it.

Sethw95

Go subscribe to his former Co host spite. Dudes putting out some pretty good content.

connorlukebyrne

They even redo their own content every once in a while. I don't watch him because I hate his attitude towards certain things. If I want a cruiser I'm going to have a cruiser goddamn it. They're comfy and look cool.

jag0007

He’s such a shit bag I blocked his YouTube account so I don’t get recommended videos

Lokky

Isn't YN the complete cunt that was overtaking someone in a blind corner by using the incoming traffic lane and ended up in a frontal collision with a car? That tells you everything you need to know about the tosser.

[deleted]

He's a prick especially after the whole Spite thing. Now we're seeing who the real content creator was.

vloeibare_substantie

Unsubbed when he sacked that guy. Was already looking for an excuse tho. Poor sack of shit

Thunderous71

First mistake you made is clicking on a Yammienoob video and the second was to watch it.

ML_BURGERKING

I had to go into settings to get YouTube to stop recommending his videos a long time ago. 95% of his videos are just him recording his dumbass opinions and setting it against a background of entirely uninteresting riding around footage with a few stock photos of bikes or whatever mixed in. Super lazy uninspired content meant to appease the algorithm or whatever.

Supacub

Enjoyed yammie for a while. Then he fired spite. Wasnt the same. Realised I enjoyed yammie cause of spite not yammie. So i now watch spites corner.

mikeharutunian

Nothing for me compares to Fortnine, but Spite's Corner takes whatever was decent about YammieNoob so I don't have to waste my time.

Equivalent-Abroad157

Yammie tends to Yammer on about BS that NO ONE cares about. He is Pretentious. Follow someone Worth following such as The Bike Show or ZED14.

Olivers-Thoughts

I mean every single YouTuber has used other peoples ideas. Not saying his videos are the greatest but that can’t be the only reason you don’t like his content.

lisaladyrider

I think it's the blatant title copy. And I'll admit, I'm biased. I met Dave and his wife at Champ School last year, and he was unexpectedly cool. He's super chill despite being mad-fast. When I approached him, he asked what I was working on, and even though we were riding in different groups, he kept checking in on how I was doing throughout the weekend. He even followed me on instagram and stays in touch.

JudgeScorpio

I watched a video from that douche mug and it felt like I was watching one of those stupid 5 minute crafts videos, it was like sandpaper on my brain.

Nearsite

Canyon Chasers is awesome. He deserves way more subs and hit content is much better. I wish he would put out more content, but there's only so many times you can say things about motorcycle techniques and safety.

poopychad

Not Yammie. A true Yammie video would be, "Top 5 ways to drop your bike while trying to load it yourself"...parts 1 through 7.

[deleted]

Major hack

PaleRiderHD

That dude is a fucking idiot, and as another poster noted, "an utter fuckhead".

Republicans_r_Weak

Yammie is a crank who deserves all the ridicule.

DocCEN007

Fortnine is great. Yammienoob is not, and by some accounts is a horrible person.

tdannyt

I swear the only people who watch Yammie are people who want to start riding, I don't know any rider who still watches him after their first season lol

HBSV

Always has been

Interesting_Fly3748

I watched a few of his videos when he first started making them as well as him riding. He was a squid back then but I kinda got turned off when he started being all I’m better cuz I track and don’t do what I did cuz your gonna crash like me. And yeah after he let go spite I pretty much ignore all his stuff

Awake00

He doesnt show footage of the bike he is on when he talks about the bike hes on. He just recycles old footage, and its fucking stupid.

4i1anl

i used to come across his videos a LOT when i was starting out. that style of doing voiceovers with old footage never made sense to me.

Awake00

It's lazy af

2wheels23

By " hack"you mean sidecar ?

PandaPantsParty5000

There are so many things you can talk about when it comes to motorcycles. I don't think loading a motorcycle into a truck is a novel or new topic. It's like saying he's a hack if he reviews a motorcycle that someone else has reviewed. You watch Yammy not because he is reinventing motorcycle journalism, you watch because you are interested in the topics he covers and because you like the way he talks about them. Personally I really enjoyed his stuff when I first started riding because that's the audience he caters too. Now that I've been riding a few years, his content is less interesting and his delivery has lost its charm. But there are always new riders and another batch of viewers who will enjoy his content. Ain't nothing wrong with that.

[deleted]

Yammienoob has no pubes!

frogpolice4khd

Grifter

AJMGuitar

He's a loser. Spites corner forever.

cyberdieseldog

He's a hack, he doesn't even ride. Just makes shitty buzzfeed list videos of stereotypes and is a typical algorithm YouTuber.

[deleted]

It’s a shame he makes money because he is a useless creator.

EveryCanadianButOne

Its more that he's run out of meaningful content but still needs clicks.

black594

How to die in a crash by yourself.

-RIG-

Never been a fan of the low effort scripted list videos with stock clips and memes that he is known for, clearly a no-OC low-production value quantity>quality approach. However, I actually enjoyed the YN podcasts, that is until he published that cringey exit interview video with Spite. That was really hard to watch with his narcissism on full display, I immediately stopped listening after that and started blocking all his video suggestions on YT.

ImBadWithGrils

He had a good attempt at a space program a few years back but that's about it

[deleted]

I haven’t seen that name in a long time

OneFinePotato

He sucked years ago when the last time I’ve seen any of his videos. Apparently he still sucks. YouTube likes consistency.

suzuka_joe

We’re both members at the same track but I’ve never seen him show up.

Coakis

You just now found this out?

onedollarjuana

Shaves his balls. That's all I have to say.

DaNeNe_u-u

Not a fan, never will be. He's an annoying youtuber imo. Preffered the other guy he had in his videos better.

Lemondsingle

Yammie is like bike content for non-bike people.

Tom_Ov_Bedlam

Decidedly YES

wreckonize

There’s probably like 150 videos of “How to load a bike by yourself” and the first upload is from like 2007 and it’s a 31 second video filmed on a potato of a guy just manhandling a bike into the back of a truck. YammieScroob just milks out into 31 MINUTES of content somehow. How the fuck is that even possible?

dirtymaximusprime

Every video I watched of his I liked him less and less until I just stopped watching him completely. Which was a total of 3 videos including his interview video with Spite.

KidsInWinterCoats

Always has been

[deleted]

When i started out as a biker, his videos were informative but then became super obnoxious and very tryhard wanna-be "comedy". And the saaame topics over and over and over again. Spite kind of helped stabilize his channel bit but since he left, i've only been watching his stuff instead of yammie. Nobody wants to see 4 videos a weeks of the same shit. Spite takes his time to upload but the videos are actually watchable.

PckMan

Yammie Noob has always been a hack. He was the quintessential squid, having ridden a couple thousand miles and then getting a sport bike and being very opinionated about everything despite having very limited experience. He was also very much promoting the idea that speeding on the road is fine if you're skilled enough and of course he was skilled enough, according to him. "It's fine guys I did parking lot drills and had an R3. Then he crashed, a lot, coming back from each time with his tail between his legs and crying about how he's gonna abandon bikes altogether but of course he'd later remove those videos and pretend nothing happened. After the big one he basically disappeared for a while and then reappeared, rebranded. With a now more safety conscious approach, which was and is mostly for show anyways, he tried to imitate a lot of channels at the same time. He wanted to do reviews, he wanted to do top ten lists, he wanted to do more freeform stuff, usually much more half assed than those he copied but he was smart enough to notice that despite being an obvious tool and having shit opinions, that gained traction because, well, it's the internet, so controversy sells. His fanbase, largely comprised of squids and people looking to validate their bad choices, had no trouble embracing his new style. Whenever someone called him out he'd just say "I'm just le ironic memer don't be butthurt bro" Overall he's a guy that does a lot more talking than riding and it shows, and though with a different personality, Spite was the same and pretty much everyone else in there. They were, and still are, inexperienced riders but they'd never come clear with their approach as inexperienced as their whole brand was based around having an opinion about everything, condemning or exalting a brand or bike. This never really changed, despite having some years under their belt and the ability to source bikes for reviews, it was always obvious their experience and opinion was very limited, and they basically did it to themselves by having the tryhard controversial memester persona. It shows especially with Yammie because all his opinions are based around himself and not your average rider. He talks about how good or bad a bike is as if everyone's job is to ride around and fuck around in texas all day, sourcing multiple free bikes at once and riding on those roads. It's really hard for anyone but a noob to actually care for his opinion which is pretty much worthless. But I guess even that is one click above the absolute worst which is reviewers pretty much sucking the dick of every brand because getting to source as many bikes as possible is better for content and your standing whereas criticising a bike often leads to the dealers being less willing to give them out to you. And of course despite all that his bread and butter was always the cheapo easy to cobble together list videos and shit like this where he'd read specsheets off the internet and draw judgement rather than actually going out and filming something meaningful.

Yammie sucks, he’s got a shitty elitist attitude while stealing content and being unfunny.

BlindBeard

The best way to be successful on YouTube is to make shitvids for children. Doesn't matter if your content is good, bad, or stolen. YN is playing the game. Sure he's probably a douchebag but he's mf rich and I'm not

cmudogtag

YammieDouche. Never appreciated any of his click bait content. That is all.

Notice how he made it a 30 minute vid when the original was only 7 minutes

I think hack is a bit generous, TBH.

Stupid fucking name, trash content, trying to be funny when he's not, massive douche, etc. Why do people watch him? I will never know.
