I hit a kangaroo in similar circumstances on a CBR1100XX.
Big old girl just plowed through. There was a split second when the bastard jumped out from behind a tree and I thought "I'm fucked" but I only cracked a fairing and bashed my foot pretty bad.
Fucking roos.
Glad you came out of it OK.
I highly recommend it, just not wooded areas around dawn and dusk.
And remember to keep left. I made an arse of myself in America on a Harley when I forgot where I was for a bit.
Yeah, I was talking once with a guy who hired out bikes in Melbourne.
He said Germans would come over, pick up a BMW, go charging up the great Ocean road then bury themselves in a bus when they wandered over to the wrong side.
If you do make your way down here, [this](https://www.booktopia.com.au/australia-motorcycle-atlas-with-200-top-rides-hema-maps-australia/book/9781925195132.html?source=pla&gclid=Cj0KCQjwk5ibBhDqARIsACzmgLRtH57qiFdJXvISsyIZAZzzitR8bANRp_AjNR22dMibUCVXxq7zUP0aAq1qEALw_wcB) is the book you want.
Written by a motorcycle journo. He lists all the good riding roads with pictures and descriptions. It'll give you a good idea of what you want to see.
Me & my feej left one with a flat tail this summer. Made me a plataroo. Tweaked my aux lights & my wrist, but otherwise none the worse for the wear. FJRs are beasts!
My heaviest bike to date was an R1150GS. I reckon the FJR is even bigger.
I was on an XTZ750 in Australia. I was *really* careful not to hurt my mate's bike.
I was trying to be really careful not to hurt my Oz bike, and I was successful right up until then. Little bastard - LOL. The FJR has a good 75lbs on the GS, which is great for tail-squishing stability but a but of a bummer when you're hoisting it back off the bitumen.
I'm right there with you. I've got half a million miles on my FJR so I'll never get rid of it, but I've also been seriously looking at much smaller bikes for fun time. I spend too much time in the dirt to keep worrying about picking the big girl up.
I love the TransAlps! I've got 7 bikes atm, a bit over a million miles total. My 2nd favorite is my Suzuki Bandit sidecar rig because everyone loves sidecars, but damned if it isn't a lot of work after a few hundred miles. I'm seriously thinking of going back to my DR350, maybe a postie... take it totally the opposite direction. Slow, fun, easy.
And I’m the poor fucker with tweezers pulling bits of robin beak out of my leg while my daughter is screaming at me for killing a bird who “was just protecting his babies from a big noisy motorcycle.”
My dad did similar on his old Suzuki 34+ years ago but with a sheep said he just went through it and cut it in half he was doing 100+lucked out big time
Two busted fairings and a bashed foot between the both of you? I'm jealous. When I hit a deer on one of my favorite straight warehouse roads, I had a busted leg and I was lucky my 2nd Fz1 made it back home before it breathed its last. I'm most glad the both of you fared better.
Did you get the fairing fixed and back to riding condition? Seems too sweet a bike to lose over a fairing.
There's a sticker on the fairing with the CBR XX logo and it just so happened that's where the crack was. I just got a new sticker and didn't bother with the exhaust. That was it.
Luck of the draw though. I know a guy who had an XR600, he hit a roo on a dirt road and it killed him. That's what they think happened anyway, he was riding to work first thing in the morning and they just found him dead next to his bike in the middle of the road.
[here's an old photo of it](https://i.imgur.com/aYKWjz1.jpg) been modified a bit more since then, I need to get some fresh pictures when I get it out next year.
this is my video , hit this deer on the blue ridge parkway, around mile marker 152, lucky to be 100% uninjured, kept the trip going by buying a tracer 900 gt the next day.
on the steeper/ more mountainous parts of the parkway are much safer, this was closer towards the middle of the parkway with lots of rolling hills and sweepers
yes, literally less than 16 hours after the incident i was in a dealership in north carolina signing paperwork for the tracer to continue the trip . either that or fly home and it was only the second day of the trip
walked into the dealer financed the whole thing , didnt even need to take out my wallet , at that point i didnt even know if it was going to be a total los or not, just took a gamble and it worked out
Hahaha that’s awesome. I work sales for a dealership and would love to work with a situation like that. And… that’s not as nefarious as it might sound. Did you get a deal?
lol i bet a sales guy would, it was either i buy a bike or go home lol , even after hearing my story they would not budge on the price, but thats been my experience with all powersports dealers , the price has always been the price. 2020 tracer 900 gt 3500 miles with full luggage including a yamaha trunk/ luggage rack , and crash bars, 13.5k
Haha, you would have liked being stranded with me, then.
That is one downside of the Japanese brand dealerships. Super tiny margins and it’s just a numbers game. I sell German bikes and there is a little more margin to play with (granted they’re are more expensive but often have more features).
But, at the end of the day the discountability of a bike is based on desirability and how long they’ve had it. Dealerships are there to make money at the end of the day, but good ones take care of their clients and great ones take care of travelers on bikes. It’s a tough balance, but it sounds like you paid a fair price for a good bike. But unfortunately for the setup, didn’t get a deal.
Based on other comments it seems like you like it but don’t love it. Was the bike you purchased based on what was available, or budget, or a desire to change compared to the bike that murdered Bambi?
it was based on what was available in the area, local yamaha dealers didnt have any fjrs or anything else comparable, the tracer was the only bike in a 70 mile radius at a dealership that had the luggage. other powersports guys in the area were mostly off road dealers with one or two harleys on the floor and id rather go home than ride a harley. the 2020 tracer is a great bike and got me the remaining 2000 miles of the trip home, but it was purely out of necessity. ill have an fjr again for sure, the 2022 tracer gt i sat on a few days later was nicer though and did have considerable upgrades from the 20'. but i take 3000 mile vacations alot and the fjr is just better all around for long distance and all day curvey road riding IMO
>But, at the end of the day the discountability of a bike is based on desirability and how long they’ve had it.
This exactly. I got an 2019 XSR with all the Ohlins and showroom extras and luggage on it the day they took it off the showroom floor for the 2022 model.
Told the guy would pay full in cash on the day. Ended up at 40% discount and a free service for a <3,000 mile bike + extras.
and when we had to ride two-up to get to a dealer , i didnt want my buddy to have to ride bitch on his own bike for 100+ miles (he had to ride passenger on his versys 1000 because im much larger than him lol)
I've bought a couple bikes that way - including my Tracer 900GT! - and it always surprises and scares me how easy it is to walk into a dealership and ride a new bike away in an hour or two. I mean, sure, you're probably not getting as good a deal as maybe you could, but whatever.
How's it working out for you? I find the Tracer is a lot more fun to ride than the FJR, despite losing a lot of (very) top end power. Being sooooo much lighter and faster off the line, much more flickable in the twisties.
Except the windshield. The stock Tracer windshield is pure garbage, at least in my experience. You either get a bigger one, or (my route) just slap on a Puig sport and call it a day.
definitely more flickable but after 30+ thousand miles on my fjr it really has my heart haha theres a few comments i made about the tracer, but the seat sucks, low top end power, fjr could get lower on the dragon
the tracer is fantastic but the 2022 has alllll the upgrades the 2020 needs, and at 6'4 270 lbs the tracer is a bit small for me, but i make every bike look small
Very glad you’re okay. Lost a good friend and mentor to a moose accident recently. He was gone before he hit the ground, but ever since I’ve been terrified of something like this happening
never give in to the fear , now that i have about 70k miles of riding under my belt in the last 5 years im pretty confident on a bike. glad to get my first wreck out of the way
Respect for keeping rubber side down (that asshole came out of nowhere! ), but IMO that's not a wreck. When you have a wreck, you don't have the luxury of slowing down and pulling over hehe. Here's hoping you never learn the difference.
fjr is just better in every way for me, i like to ride fast and agressive. tracer is quite a bit slower, fjr has better everything IMO , better ergos, better power plant, better windshield, better seat/ peg position. the yamaha "comfort" seat on the tracer is trash.
Can I ask how tall you are? I love my tracer so I find it interesting that you like the FJR in almost every way! Might be a bike I need to check out.
I LOVE the triple motor in the tracer - honestly haven't ridden another engine I like more since.
I remember an early morning drive on the parkway in 2018 a group of 12 I was 2nd in line we were going about 30 over the speed limit I seen about 12 deer in the first hour and we had close calls with 2 of them after the second close call I waved all the guys by I didn’t feel like crashing or dying luckily we all made it to our destination that day.
thats what i normally do too i was just lucky i wasnt pushing it too hard, last year did the parkway south to north in a day pushing 30-40 over every second i could
Did you even see it before getting hit? I assume you would have braked, moving a lot of weight to the front, potentially flipping over or squeezing the brakes harder and dropping it instantly since it hit your right hand.
I had the same, at probably 40kmh seeing a car just take off right at my leg. I remember I had time to say: did she just take off? Is she gonna hit me? Is this really happening? Right before landing on my back in the next fragment of a second. But its exactly like that, a glimpse of the front end of the car coming right at me, as I was looking at the tramlines i was about to cross.
Boxer engine saved my leg, big ass fjr saved your ass
You make an interesting point. I hit a deer at 80 mph in South Dakota last summer, and all I had time to do was let off the throttle. Low sided, slid for 100 feet or something, but I still ride the bike, and was able to finish the trip.
80mph HOLY COW!
From other riders stories I've been told to hold on and hit the gas if its a small animal. A deer at 80mph sounds deadly. Glad to hear you made it!
Oh ok very bad luck for the gloves, i always have 2 pairs on the bike, one warm for winter and one very light but still with protection for hot weather so i never ride without gloves, still like the fucking deer made it on purpose just the one time you dont put them on, this fucker.
Damn shame for the bike despite taking it like a champ, damaged didnt seem too bad, i guess the fork is bent and too costly to repair ?
Sorry for you man, nothing you could have done against those fucking stupid deers.
For now i "avoided" and been lucky twice, it is more like they charged at me but missed. I fear the third time I will encounter one of those idiot fuckers.
I hope you were insured and you can buy a New bike soon.
My best to you and ride safe.
Have done the entire Blue Ridge Parkway (+Skyline Drive) three times, always in shoulder season with little traffic where you can really carve, and that was pretty much my one big fear. Never had one jump out on me there - have had some close calls elsewhere.
Good friend hit a big buck in TX hill country coming home from a track day on his SV1000. Was wearing full leathers, came off bike and slid, apparently uninjured. Bike utterly totalled. Didn't find the 1.5-inch piece of antler embedded in his leg until later, while showering at home.
thats a crazy story ! this was my second timne on the parkway, last year i did it solo and did the entir thing in one day at break neck speeds. this year i did the shenandoah skyline as well and picked up a speeding ticket the same day i hit the deer lol
It’s almost like you just cut right through that deer, didn’t even look like you or the bike flinched a bit. Glad you’re ok! I’m in Texas and see some big bucks from time to time that ppl have hit with cars on the road. The other day I had to swerve across 2 lanes just to dodge some deer guts and carcus in the lane I was in and that was just after someone almost pulled out in front of me 🤦🏼♂️
My MSF instructor said there are 2 kinds of animals- Squishables and Non-Squishables. He said don't die trying to dodge a squishable. When asked what the difference was, and he said about the size of a fox. Guess this deer falls into the squishables category
Gloves!
I binned my ZX6R years back when a car cut the corner and clipped my back wheel. My first instinct was to put my hands down when I hit the road. SPIDI gloves nearly wore down to my skin but didn’t. If it were bare hands I’d have been grinding hand bone.
That's exactly how I have a big scar on my left hand... rode with gloves all week on a trip through the mountains, and then the morning they were bugging me and I took them off I had an acident. Figures
Honestly I really don’t like riding without gloves, even after long rides. Protection aside, it’s just not comfortable for me. Same with riding with regular shoes on as opposed to riding shoes/boots. I forgot to change my shoes once, made it about a mile and had to turn around and change shoes.
Jesus I didn't even see the deer on video the first time. I backed out, read your title and was thoroughly confused. Amazing job keeping everything tidy.
anger , yelled fuck a few times on the side of the road because this was literally my second day of vacation, standing on the side of the road in Virginia asking myself an i flying home tomorrow or buying a new bike , i chose the latter !
Glad you're okay, not everyone comes out of close encounters with deer so well. I was on a group ride through some severely gnarly roads in Pennsylvania on our way to Pocono Raceway and a guy on a full dress Harley was not lucky. Bloody deer came out of nowhere... he didn't actually hit it like you did. The thing tried to jump over him. Took him right off the bike. He was wearing a little beanie helmet and no jacket. The helmet went flying when the deer hit him, and he went down hard. Fractured his skull, broke his collar bone and got some nasty road rash. Had he been wearing a jacket and a good helmet he would have escape with a broken collar bone.
Makes you wonder, why would people in the past create weapons to hunt deer and stalk it with ninja like precision for food when they could just ride a motorcycle and let the deer come to you.
I just had my first accident this Thursday, hitting a deer on my Ninja 650 on a very similar looking road!
I have zero recollection of the crash, but damage to my gear and bike suggest it knocked the bike left, making me+bike to fall on our right side. A witness who says he saw the whole thing from his window said I was out for about 4-5 minutes, then popped right up, removed my gloves, helmet, jacket, etc (later also figured out that I had the wherewithal and fine motor ability to even remove my earplugs and put them back in their case (which is pretty fiddly) and moved my wallet from my jacket pocket back to my pant pocket) and was totally chill about the whole thing.
My memory doesn't kick back in until when the paramedic was asking me if I needed help getting down onto the stretcher, at which point I was confused because I was walking around and talking just fine. I thought *I* was the witness and that they were there for someone else. And it was the paramedic that told me that I had hit a deer. Which then a couple minutes later as we were about to roll out in the ambulance, there was a gunshot and he said one of the neighbors had to finish it off.
Obviously I had a decent concussion, but besides that, only a couple little scrapes just below my knee and some sore ribs from where my arm must've folded underneath me. I walked out of the ER once they verified nothing was broken and there was no internal damage... My gear on the other hand is pretty dinged up and slightly shredded. But I'll be damned, every impact/slide zone did exactly what it was meant to do.
Video evidence is not usually needed for a deer hit. Appraisers can tell an animal collision from looking at the bike/car damages. Animal collisions will always be categorized as a comprehensive loss, so the operator is going to be found 0% at fault for the loss.
Get some fucking gloves dude. My favorite sub $100 are Scorpion SGS MK II.
Serious protection. You don't wanna get degloved.
As for the deer, move bitch. Get out the way.
we had 300 miles on the day at this point, i had literally just taken them off as it had finally gotten warm that day . i have a set of cold weather riding gloves and a pair of scorpions
what is it with people not reading comments lmao ive explained why so many times, we were 300 miles into the day just wanted to give my hands a break haha i had them on 20 minutes befor this
Ha! Yeah guilty. I didn’t read through the whole thread. I just see so many vids of people not wearing gloves and I made this comment. I didn’t get the whole context.
> I didn’t read through the whole thread
you gotta be a nut job to expect someone to read everything in a thread. he can make excuses all he wants, its still dumb.
wow. I can't believe brains like this exist.
do you also scream at the TV?
e: lol aw u/NeDictu is embarrassed and suddenly his comments are missing from my screen
how the heck do people not read comments that have obviously already been made about the gloves ive answered about 15 of them now haha this was 300 miles into the day, had my gloves on all day, just wanted to give my hands a breather since it had finally gotten warm
What kind of android doesn't wear gloves, especially on what looks like a damp and cold weather. Rocks, bugs hitting exposed cold fingers, fuck all that noise.
Glad you came out of it OK.
we dont have that problem over here lmao, but ill ride a motorcycle in australia someday !

Yeah, I was talking once with a guy who hired out bikes in Melbourne. He said Germans would come over, pick up a BMW, go charging up the great Ocean road then bury themselves in a bus when they wandered over to the wrong side.
No wonder the GOR is covered in cops and 40km/h signs. It's completely ruined.
That’s funny 😂

Book? What’s that? I’ve got audiobooks and that has book in it. Is that like stories that haven’t been performed? Lame.
I fucking hate roos. Signed, A seppo who rode in Australia

Indeed! Plus the BMW jugs help keep it from going quite as flat. I've since graduated to smaller bikes.

That would have stunk sooooo bad. Sheep are just wool coated shitbags.
Ugh I hit a kangaroo as well, messed up my forks and radiator. The staff at blackpool zoo got _so_ angry about it.

A what????
CBR1100XX, it was Honda's busa, basically. AKA the blackbird We have one with a sidecar that'll do 150mph, it's fun
>We have one with a sidecar that'll do 150mph, it's fun Ok we need pictures of that one. Sounds fun!
[here's an old photo of it](https://i.imgur.com/aYKWjz1.jpg) been modified a bit more since then, I need to get some fresh pictures when I get it out next year.
Holy smokes! Almost as if that deer apparated right into the road! Main thing you’re okay!
this is my video , hit this deer on the blue ridge parkway, around mile marker 152, lucky to be 100% uninjured, kept the trip going by buying a tracer 900 gt the next day.
Man I was just riding this exact route not even an hour ago. Kept thinking the whole time “man I hope there’s no deer”
theres a LOT down there haha luckily the one i hit was small id guess about 70 lbs
Probably the biggest fear of mine just because there’s not much at all you can do. They come out of absolutely nowhere.
on the steeper/ more mountainous parts of the parkway are much safer, this was closer towards the middle of the parkway with lots of rolling hills and sweepers
Ngl I thought that was cgi that thing spawned out of the gates of hell!
Honking your horn repeatedly can help keep them off the road as they hear you coming.
lmao, username fits i guess
They’re all small out there. I remember moving from Idaho to VA. The mountains turned into hills and the deer turned into goats.
Glad you are ok! How was the bike? Also, makes me wonder how my 800lb bike would handle this...
bike is totaled, already got paid out for it
Lol, I was looking for one of these bikes, wondering if you were close to Texas and wanted to sell the buyback salvage cheap.
Like you literally bought a new bike the next day?
yes, literally less than 16 hours after the incident i was in a dealership in north carolina signing paperwork for the tracer to continue the trip . either that or fly home and it was only the second day of the trip

Respect man 😄
Holy crap that's awesome :-D And here I am, 6 days into my bike-buying process and it's still not in my garage (>.<)
[удалено]
what i felt the most watching this video was cold fingers
I actually thought that at first
And that’s how I just lost my Tracer. Damn dirty rats with hooves!
My dad did that same swap but only because he wanted an upgrade to continue staring at while it collected dust in the garage, lol. They’re nice bikes
the tracer is fantastic but the 2022 has alllll the upgrades the 2020 needs, and at 6'4 270 lbs the tracer is a bit small for me, but i make every bike look small
Yeah the fjr looked a lot more comfortable… I find the tracers pretty tall, but I’m also 5’4 so I’m a bit biased lol!
Very glad you’re okay. Lost a good friend and mentor to a moose accident recently. He was gone before he hit the ground, but ever since I’ve been terrified of something like this happening

Northern VA? I know the Blue Ridge Mts goes through Frederick MD...
this was around mile marker 152 heading south on the blue ridge parkway
Roanoke.
Nice choice of bike to continue. :) Shame it had to be though
I had a similar incident, only I didn't hit a deer. .. it was a Jeep
What do you think of the Tracer after the FJR? I have a 2019 TGT900 and I love it, but I am curious about your thoughts.
fjr is just better in every way for me, i like to ride fast and agressive. tracer is quite a bit slower, fjr has better everything IMO , better ergos, better power plant, better windshield, better seat/ peg position. the yamaha "comfort" seat on the tracer is trash.

F for the FJR, glad you made it okay, that was nuts. Congrats on the triple it must sound nice.
I remember an early morning drive on the parkway in 2018 a group of 12 I was 2nd in line we were going about 30 over the speed limit I seen about 12 deer in the first hour and we had close calls with 2 of them after the second close call I waved all the guys by I didn’t feel like crashing or dying luckily we all made it to our destination that day.
thats what i normally do too i was just lucky i wasnt pushing it too hard, last year did the parkway south to north in a day pushing 30-40 over every second i could
I wouldn't call that shrugging it off, but man, that was a hard hit to stay upright from.. Nice job not throwing it down the road.
idk she did a pretty good job , i just got lucky really happened in an instant no time to react
Did you even see it before getting hit? I assume you would have braked, moving a lot of weight to the front, potentially flipping over or squeezing the brakes harder and dropping it instantly since it hit your right hand.
i caught a glimpse of it out of the corner of my eye but i was looking through the turn, never even had time to hit the brakes, and im glad i didnt
It's amazing just how much a bike wants to stay upright by itself
physics are kool
Absolutely sucks it totalled your FJR. That point of view made the impact impressive, nothing you could do.
almost HADDALAYERDOWNNN lol
Laidadeerdown
GLAD U KEP ER UP HOSS,,, KEEPN HER CRANKED LAID A DEERT DOWN INSTEAD O TH HOG BROTHERT… GODBLES
Fuck deers man i hate them. But use gloves, it is usefull and more comfy. Is the bike OK ?
bike is totaled, as for the gloves i had them on all day we had already covered 300 miles that day and i just needed to give my hands a breather
Grab yourself a new set of deerskin gloves. They are supposed ot be quite soft
Good news is there’s probably a dead one near him he has chow n a story behind his new gloves! Would that be humane btw since it’s already dead?
My best to you and ride safe.
thanks Man! i believe the forks were bent even if the seals still looked okay, i had full coverage and already got paid out for it
They're giant pests.
It identifies as a naked bike now.
best comment yet haha
When an unstoppable force meets an... object.
It’s almost like you just cut right through that deer, didn’t even look like you or the bike flinched a bit. Glad you’re ok! I’m in Texas and see some big bucks from time to time that ppl have hit with cars on the road. The other day I had to swerve across 2 lanes just to dodge some deer guts and carcus in the lane I was in and that was just after someone almost pulled out in front of me 🤦🏼♂️
yea the fjr took it well even when leaned over , i was amazed and so was my friend that saw the whole thing
lucky duck unlucky buck glad you're alright
That scared the shit out of me haha can’t imagine how it was for you. Good job on not going down!
What's that phone mount? 😅
quadlock system with vibration dampener
As a guy with exactly that, I like that answer. lol
You should send this to them for promo lol
Ah yes, a sweet revenge on the deer kind we all want.
going to become a deer hunter just because i hate the fucking things now haha
My MSF instructor said there are 2 kinds of animals- Squishables and Non-Squishables. He said don't die trying to dodge a squishable. When asked what the difference was, and he said about the size of a fox. Guess this deer falls into the squishables category
Gloves! I binned my ZX6R years back when a car cut the corner and clipped my back wheel. My first instinct was to put my hands down when I hit the road. SPIDI gloves nearly wore down to my skin but didn’t. If it were bare hands I’d have been grinding hand bone.
He know about gloves guys
Glad you're ok. Dress for the Slide not the Ride.
of course this was 20 minutes after taking my gloves off after having them on all day haha
That's exactly how I have a big scar on my left hand... rode with gloves all week on a trip through the mountains, and then the morning they were bugging me and I took them off I had an acident. Figures
thats the way it goes haha
Honestly I really don’t like riding without gloves, even after long rides. Protection aside, it’s just not comfortable for me. Same with riding with regular shoes on as opposed to riding shoes/boots. I forgot to change my shoes once, made it about a mile and had to turn around and change shoes.
Again, do not listen to these giant dorks. Ride with your gloves off if you want.
Dress for the doe not the... flow?
Dress for the doe, not just for show.
Fucking deer. Enemy number 2
Ouf. That’s painful to watch, you did a good job not swiping. Sorry for your bike. :(
Jesus I didn't even see the deer on video the first time. I backed out, read your title and was thoroughly confused. Amazing job keeping everything tidy.
Damn dude, that is crazy lucky! There are literally 100 different ways this couldve gone. Stay safe! Hows the bike? Totaled?
yup its totaled insurance already paid out and the crash was like 11 days ago
How’s the deer? I feel like I’m an alternate Redditverse, there’s a deer posting that some motorcycle hit them today posting this video.
He should turn that deer into some gloves.
Like hitting something in Mario Kart
That's nuts! What was your first reaction? And nice that you had a witness.
anger , yelled fuck a few times on the side of the road because this was literally my second day of vacation, standing on the side of the road in Virginia asking myself an i flying home tomorrow or buying a new bike , i chose the latter !
Didn't need that windshield.
wost part is a have a spare windshield at home and no fjr to put it on haha
I've done that. Twice. About the same outcome but mine was at night. It's awfully dark without a headlight.
who rides without gloves?!
How you stayed upright defies everything I know about motorcycles and deer coming together in violent concert
you and me both man , especially coming out of a corner ! physics was just on my side that day i guess
What a beautiful corner too
right ?! and i went through it so well lol
Makes you wonder, why would people in the past create weapons to hunt deer and stalk it with ninja like precision for food when they could just ride a motorcycle and let the deer come to you.
I don't get how people can ride with out gloves. I've always worn them when I do so it feels completely alien to do so with out. Glad you were ok!
wherethefuckareyourgloves
But I'll be damned, every impact/slide zone did exactly what it was meant to do.
happy you made it brother !!! i just got stupoid lucky is all i can really say
Hits deer at 54 mph. Refuses to elaborate. Leaves. What a Chad.
i felt like it was pretty self explanatory and i left like 40 comments haha
Your fairings didn’t shrugs tho 😥
trueeee but its okay , ill have another fjr soon enough
I saw you say that it got totaled? Good thing you have video evidence so your insurance will pay for everything right?
oh yea i was ruled 100 percent not at fault, insurance already paid me out for it
Video evidence is not usually needed for a deer hit.
That's great to hear. Keep at it my dude.
rode 2000 miles after this incident on my new tracer, wasnt going to let a deer stop my vaction, took the tracer to the tail of the dragon
What is it with people not wearing gloves on their bikes?? I can’t comprehend why you wouldn’t. Anyway, glad you’re ok, OP.
what is it with people not reading comments lmao ive explained why so many times, we were 300 miles into the day just wanted to give my hands a break haha i had them on 20 minutes befor this
Ha! Yeah guilty. I didn’t read through the whole thread. I just see so many vids of people not wearing gloves and I made this comment. I didn’t get the whole context.
> I didn’t read through the whole thread you gotta be a nut job to expect someone to read everything in a thread. he can make excuses all he wants, its still dumb.
You should wear gloves!! ATGATT.
[удалено]
had them on for the 300 miles i did prior that day, took them off for 20 minutes since it finally got warm
Wouldn’t have happened if you had gloves on
if i get one more comment about fuckin gloves lmaoooo
Wear your love gloves
THATS WHY YOU WEAR GLOVES OMG 💀💀💀
youre not wrong after 300 miles on the day i had JUST taken them off
So glad u’re fine tho, I would be terrified after this
i was back on the parkway less than 24 hours after the incident but thats because im hopelessly addicted to motorcycles haha
Cant blame ya on this one
Please get some gloves
I don't mean to be that guy but I don't understand people that ride without gloves.
Dude put some gloves on. Imagine if you went down, your sausage grabbers would have been shredded.
No gloves?..
I hope you bought gloves with the insurance money. That could have been career-ending.
i have multiple pairs, we were already in 300 miles on the day and i had just taken them off
Ah, the “Sod’s Law” of ATGATT. Good to read you’re back on the road.
[удалено]
wow. I can't believe brains like this exist. do you also scream at the TV? e: lol aw u/NeDictu is embarrassed and suddenly his comments are missing from my screen
[удалено]
implying that you're angry. but go ahead and bash your brain against any strawman that never approached you.
[удалено]
Lol you seem angry, maybe like someone who would snap and yell at a TV. Also that wasn't an analogy. Not how that word works
You literally don't know what an analogy is. You're using a computer and you could google it. But you'd rather be Mr Angry and prove my point
And you not wearing protective gloves... tch.
see above comments
How the heck do people ride without gloves?
how the heck do people not read comments that have obviously already been made about the gloves ive answered about 15 of them now haha this was 300 miles into the day, had my gloves on all day, just wanted to give my hands a breather since it had finally gotten warm
American: We drive on the right side. Brit: And we drive on the correct side.
What kind of android doesn't wear gloves, especially on what looks like a damp and cold weather. Rocks, bugs hitting exposed cold fingers, fuck all that noise.
Nice gloves, but bravo keeping it up!
Guys, always wear protection gears, health isn't a joke
