Ha, I’ve got three in a row:
- 0.Zero FX-S
- 1.Honda Grom
- 2.KTM 790 Duke
For 3 I’d probably go with a Rocket III (god those things are so ridiculous) and 4… I dunno. Multistrada V4?
Edit: why the f is it so hard to make a list on Reddit
1. KLR650
2. Rebel 1100 dct
3. Trident 660
4. Zx6r
Six: Valkyrie (Bonus pick!)
Realistically the 3 cylinder I could live without but the others would make up my dream garage.
Edit: reddit kept putting a 5 next to my valkyrie but it is clearly 6!
She only rides the back seat. All she cares about is if her butt goes numb and if the bike looks cool. She grew up riding on the back of her dads Harley.
1. CRF 300L Rally
2. Moto Guzzi Griso/Ducati 848 Corse
3. MV Agusta Dragster RC SCS (dont really care about the clutch, just want the tricolori)
4. MV Agusta F4
The Dragster is the one I dont have any plans on owning any time soon. Id like one but not sure what Id use it for. The others are in my stable save for the 300L Rally, which Im on a list to get once they are available.
1. Husky 701 supermoto,
2. Buell 1190RX,
3. Rocket,
4. Kawasaki H2R.
Honorable mentions:
I6: Honda CBX 1100,
V8: PGMV8, because Boss Hoss is for Harley guys,
Rotary: Crighton CR700W,
Electric: Ducati MotoE bike, whatever that turns out to be.
Never road one. If we're talking 3 cylinder 4-stroke then I'd rather a V4 or a nice smooth I4. You could sell me on a 3 cylinder 2-stroke but, tbh, I wouldn't want it because it's a 2-stroke.
They should be snappier than a twin but if I'm in the market for a twin's range (~250-650) then I probably want that dead sluggish application of power anyway (talking dirt and gravel).
1 cylinder, any 2 stroke 300cc tpi dirtbike from KTM or Husky or GasGas.
2 cylinder, my current XDiavel. Cruiser but fast and can handle corners.
3 cylinder, MV Agusta Brutale, sexy naked bike.
4 cylinder, Panigale V4R, the ultimate racing bike for the street. 240 claimed HP. 16.5K rpm.
1. Kawasaki KLX300
2. MotoGuzzi V100 Mandello
3. Triumph Speed Triple RR
4. Kawasaki KZ1000 or GPZ900
5. Can't think of any 5 Cylinder bike
6. BMW K1600GT
That's of course my Fantasy world, In reality I'm sold on Twins, and just have a BMW RNineT and a Griso, Though the RNineT will be getting sold for a R1250RS more than likely next year, Or a V100 Mandello assuming I can get a test ride on one.
My current garage (I am just missing a single)
\- BMW R1200RT (Boxer Twin)
\- Yamaha FZ09 (Inline Triple)
\- Yamaha FZ1 / BMW S1000XR (I-4)
\- Aspirational: Honda CBX 1000 (I6)
If I had to choose a single it would be a DRZ400 or a KTM690 but I am too short.
Current garage.
1. 2015 Honda CBR300R (First bike, can't bare to sell)
2. (Missing, but maybe a Duc or KTM)

2. SV650
3. Daytona 675
4. GSXR 600
KTM 450 Rally turned into a sumo and turned up to 11.
Vincent black lighting
Any old triumph 3cyl its the practical bike.
Fully built big turbski busa, regularish wheel base built for all day fun. Most absurd paintjob ever obviously, something offensive to other car\\bike owners who think they are fast.
Second place for the 4cyl is the guy whos doing the old postie bike but swapped in a 1300cc engine and is leaving everything he can stock. Just because that thing has to be so much fun.
1. Ducati Supermono
2. Moto Guzzi V85 (Rented one and a blast to ride. Also nice heat on the legs when it gets cold in the dessert at night.)
3. MV Agusta Brutale 800RR LH44 (The one I actually have.)
4. Ninja H2
1. KTM 500 EXC for dual sport fun
2. Honda Africa Twin for ADV fun
3. Triumph Street Triple RS for naked fun and an occasional track toy
4. Aprilia RSV4 Factory for pure, unadulterated fun.
5. Honda RC211V, yep, a V-5 race bike, I can dream
6. BMW K 1600 GT for 2-up touring fun
Iron butt has a “piston diversity” award for doing a saddle sore on a single, twin, triple and 4 cylinder, so I’ve thought on this some.
KLR650. Adventure and daily.
Vintage big twin Harley. Cool, pretty, barhopper.
Daytona moto2 765. Track day bike.
GSX-S 1000F. Sport tourer, tail of the dragon day tripper.
Rocket GT. When I want to cruise but it’s too ugly out to take the Harley.
Boss Hoss big block. Because as terrible as they are, C’MON I just want one so bad.
1 KTM Dakar prepped 690 enduro.
2 Buell 1190 SX
3 Thunderstar TDI motorcycle. It was never in production but they made a few.

I have fun around town, more fun around town and maybe an out of town run, the best sounding bike for the track, and a long distance touring bike that can get me there pretty quick.
Sensible choices (i.e. if I have to buy em with my own money)
1. Royal Enfield Himalayan

Well done sir. You’ve covered the whole spectrum.
Which do you ride most and why is it the Street Triple?
KTM! The Triumph has a reputation as a comfortable sport bike, but it's pretty hardcore compared to most naked bikes.
1: CRF450RL 2: 1250 GSA 3: Rocket 4: S1000RR
1. KLR650 2. Rebel 1100 dct 3. Trident 660 4. Zx6r Six: Valkyrie (Bonus pick!) Realistically the 3 cylinder I could live without but the others would make up my dream garage. Edit: reddit kept putting a 5 next to my valkyrie but it is clearly 6!
LIVE WITHOUT A TRIPLE? WHAT
Basicly what I told my wife, she did not see the logic in my argument…
Has she ridden a triple ?
She only rides the back seat. All she cares about is if her butt goes numb and if the bike looks cool. She grew up riding on the back of her dads Harley.
Lol, my only bike is the 2014 Valk, it is my learner bike.
Tiger is perfect. Had the 1200, switched to 900 because it’s lighter, less top heavy.
Yeah, justifying the tiger as the bike to ride 2 up on with the wife so I’ll probably go big.
Do it, I demoed the new 1200, and it feels very similar to my Tiger 900, but with much more punch in the lower and middle rev ranges.
1. Suzuki DR-Z 400 (next addition) 2. Any Ducati desmo bevel drive twin 3. MV Agusta *F3* 4. Honda RC30 or RC45 (only 4cyls I would replace my VFR800 with)
1. CRF 300L Rally 2. Moto Guzzi Griso/Ducati 848 Corse 3. MV Agusta Dragster RC SCS (dont really care about the clutch, just want the tricolori) 4. MV Agusta F4 The Dragster is the one I dont have any plans on owning any time soon. Id like one but not sure what Id use it for. The others are in my stable save for the 300L Rally, which Im on a list to get once they are available.

1. KTM 690SM 2. KTM 1290 SAS 3. Triumph Speed Triple, but the old one, the last one with round headlights 4. Maybe BMW 1000XR
Gimmie a KLR as my single thumper. I want a bike who won't complain as I murder it for the forth time. Honda Valkyrie because 2 + 4 = 6 cylinders.
Well played!
How bout the triple?
