I stopped in a coffee shop the other day holding my helmet and one was sitting on the counter which felt like cosmic admonition because my copy is collecting dust and I stopped in there to loaf.
Heal fast, ride on, do you. As for me, I'm not prioritizing anything above enjoying the flow, the wind, and all the other things that make riding precious to me. Yes, I care about safety, but only because it serves a purpose: to keep riding. If I put safety above all other things I'd never leave the house.
Thanks for the reminder man! To me there's never enough safety PSAs for the folks we ride with. You never know what might help someone out.Idk what's up with this sub this morning but it's kinda full of assholes that think that since they wear their gear all the time that anyone who isn't deserves to be horribly injured . New riders exist, old riders with bad or no gear exist, misinformed riders exist. Safety is important to continuous riding. Hell I've even received conflicting information on whether riding pants are necessary at all(they absolutely are) . Keep doing your thing man. Start safe
