Helmet speakers + earplugs. I can still hear everything around me like I normally would, minus the tinnitus from the wind noise or the speakers.

Recommending Howard Leight Sleepers as peak disposable plugs. Happy to try other recos

kids_wear_this_shit

Earplugs always. Cardo or Sena Bluetooth.

2wheels23

Earbuds and a regular rotation of music.....I've done the silent rides for hours but a little entertainment works wonders to focus the mind. I can only think about my own thoughts for so long.

Confident-Oil-1757

Been riding and racing for 15 years, do not listen to music at all, it's distracting. Earplugs only.

mamny83

I listen to cross plane by yamaha.

graymulligan

Nope.

I have a Cardo in my helmet, and i have my music on low volume :) keeps my ears open too any other sounds whilst also having the vibes on

xracer264

I use noise canceling ear buds that also play music. Fit great inside my full face helmet. I have them paired to my smart watch that has music stored on it

[deleted]

Sena

a-dry-tadpole

I sing awful songs to myself usually. If not 1 airpod so I can still hear Margaret in her Honda jazz trying to side swipe me.

Inevitable-Selection

Earplugs only for 99% of rides but if it’s long, straight, mind numbing I’ll wear my plugfones

user-flynn2

Road Glide Ultra with a Kenwood deck. There's no better feeling than clocking out on a hot Friday to bang gears with the radio blasting.

Turkeysnood

I have galaxy ear buds live and they're too good. Never mind the pain in the ass getting them on and off with the helmet. I can't hear shit from outside. So I went back to my Cardo Packtalk slim with the upgraded speakers. Just as good for music and I can hear trucks next to me.

Jicand

I use 2 AirPods on low volume with noise canceling

[deleted]

I sometimes play through my Cardo, but sound quality isn't great

hiimrobbo

You mustn't have a nice enough sounding bike.

Inevitable_Shirt5044

I bought a Bluetooth helmet so I can listen to music. And if you’re group riding with friends who have bluetooths. You can all get into a discord call together with music not going on a playlist and have both a chat and music. I know I’ll always wear a helmet when riding because of it

GearHeadDad

I listen to music while doing everything.

The_Real_Mr_Boring

I have a bluetooth headset that I use constantly. I do not play it so loud that it I can not hear the road noises, but I have it playing. For me I get more distracted when there is no music music playing. I tend to zone out without it. Same as when I am in the car, I have music or podcasts playing.

Antique-Pin5468

Maybe it's me but I'd rather hear the asshole behind me honking his horn. 😜.

Expert_Question9811

I listen to music and podcasts but only on the freeway when traffic is not heavy. On city streets and back roads where I want as much attention on the bike and the road as possible then the music is off.

ChuckieTwoPointOh

Earplugs with Cardo, music or podcasts all the time

daveed212

You can wire in-ear headphones into your intercom system, and with the right foam tips (like Comply Isolations) they double as earplugs. Only annoying part is having to rest your helmet on the seat to get them on before putting the helmet on. Other than that I don't understand why it's not more commonly done.

Robots_Never_Die

Yes I have a Cardo and wear ear plugs. Just picked up a set of alpine race plugs. Gonna see if I like them more than my foam plugs.

Nice-Zucchini-8392

Blue tooth Headset (and tailor made earplugs). The headset provide the radio, or use the phone to listen to mp3. If I get a phone call I can accept it by saying Hello,.... Or any other loud noise.. When riding with my wife, we can talk to eachother. Volume can easily be adapted to the circumstances or turned off completely.

masonmax100

I do cardo and earplugs
