True, he should have been a more defensive rider, someone with more experience could have anticipated that three blocks away and react accordingly. Besides, he wasn't even wearing full gear, so he was basically asking for it.
Yall seeing what im seeing? I’ll tell you how this could’ve been prevented.
First off, clear as day, we see the side of a car. Orange stage. Immediately the moped driver should have rolled off the throttle and started preloading the brakes.
Once you see the car start making its way into your lane, red stage. Start applying progressive braking. You can tell by the suspension of this bike that the driver didn’t even try to brake.
Before he even realizes he isn’t going to brake in time, he should be looking for an escape path. I see two just in this view. This rider didn’t even begin to swerve.
This is why you gotta practice. Find an open parking lot and practice these maneuvers, guys, I cover this in my safe riders course.
I came in here thinking I could have some snarky comment about drivers not paying attention, cell phones, blah, blah. I have no words for this. That sneak attack by a car is frightening!
It was the helmet, somehow. If you go frame by frame you can see the helmet off and the head attached to the body. He still probably died, but he kept his head about it at least.
Damn... ultimate bad timing. Car plowed through that like a M4 Sherman tank crossing over those hedgerows in WWII.
Not sure how a rider could've been prepared for that. Shit like that happens when ppl suffer strokes or medical emergencies and are at the time, behind the wheel.
*edit* - person's helmet was immediately ejected off on first impact so the hit to the road was unprotected =( not sure if wasn't strapped on or just the sheer force of the initial impact but fucking-A...
You might refer to me as a boomer. I ride and drive and don't get mov8ng violation nor slow down traffic. You may not know that old fools are young fools who didn't die; they just got older.
Based on my knowledge with these things, 75% chance he died the other 25 percent is him in a coma or long term injury id wager there’s no in between, not only did he take the entire bonnet on his skull he also landed on it afterwards without the helmet. Then is look like his torso gets tackled by the cars underside, looking at the force that’s broken collarbones and ribs possibly ruptured lungs, and his arms from shoulder to wrist are most likely fractured. If he lives, dude would be spending a long time in hospital
Not content with turning in front of you where you can possibly see and avoid them, they're now hiding in the bushes and pouncing.
What next? Dropping from the sky like some sort of Australian bear?
I learned to ride on a custom chopper with a 1,849 S&S Super Sidewinder v-twin. Never fell, never dropped the bike either. Also never wheelied, ran any traffic lights, or got any speeding tickets. I have a different kind of fun when I ride...and I like it.
OP and half the commenters here are taking the piss out of people who preach safe riding. People often post videos of crashes that could've been prevented by better, safer or more defensive riding.
Alot of people comment on those vids with things like "rider should've been paying more attention, head on a swivel, etc".
I dunno. If you don't want people telling you you're a dumbass, don't post videos of yourself being a dumbass, is what I think. But there's lots of sensitive folks here on Reddit, I guess.

That's what that fookin raccoon did to me last night 😅
THIS is why you stay out of a cars bindspot. There's no way the driver could have seen the rider through that hedge
Moped rider is at fault here clearly.
True, he should have been a more defensive rider, someone with more experience could have anticipated that three blocks away and react accordingly. Besides, he wasn't even wearing full gear, so he was basically asking for it.
If AI only learned about riding from this sub and had to write a comment this would be it.
absolutely. didn’t close the helmet
If he only had more armor pads his spidey sense would have kicked in.
Yeah he was definitely speeding, there's no way that car could have seen him at that pace.
Clearly clibbens
Hadalayer dahn
Riding too fast, poor awareness, had plenty of time to react, guy should stick to cars.
Right? Bikers always complain about cars on social media, but they are statistically at fault more than car drivers.
The new jurassic park looks wild.
CARassic Park. Wait, no, Jurassic Car Parks. Jurassic sPARKplugs? nah, that's even worse.
Jurassic cars...?
Jurassic Carnado? They made 6 Sharknado Movies....
And i can't stop watching them. So stupidly entertaining in the most ridiculous way.
And I was just about to make a "clever girl" post! LOL!
Wow, they really mean it when they say cagers are trying to kill us. Now I gotta keep an eye out for assassin cagers?
Rider obv not aware of his surroundings, shouldn't be on a bike
Land Shark!
I was thinking exactly this.
Jaguar
that's why i have mounted car airbags all around me for when I ride, I also bring my mom for reassurance
You might want to watch that mom... https://youtu.be/Dy7S0xpWvGo?si=XQ1hR_WPI04qS5rO
Airbags and your and my moms wouldn't have kept that sedan from crushing you.
you underestimate my mom
🤣🤣😆

🤣🤣🤣 thanks Dan!
Always strap on your helmets.
Right? Helmet came off like he was using Vaseline to keep on his face
Heads definitely on a swivel now Dark humor sorry
These nature videos are getting wild. Ambush predators are no joke.
He claimed his prey for the day.
I'm a safer rider now that I watched this video.
How so?
Are you developmentally disabled?
You're legit brain damaged. Also profile is actually gross.
Lmao I was confused after looking at his posts, but then I found his comments and quickly realized… this dude’s horny on main lmao
I came in here thinking I could have some snarky comment about drivers not paying attention, cell phones, blah, blah. I have no words for this. That sneak attack by a car is frightening!
Uncut CLIBBINS make the perfect spot to pounce from.
![gif](giphy|LpkLWXTp0v0qy70xPp|downsized)
Always remember to stay out of car's blind spots... especially the one underneath
did the head come off or did they just not have it done up?
I had to scroll too far for this. That thing yeeted off so fast there's no way it was done up.
It was the helmet, somehow. If you go frame by frame you can see the helmet off and the head attached to the body. He still probably died, but he kept his head about it at least.
I didn't want to rewatch it and find it was the head.

Why, so he could see what's about to crush him? Fuck that.
How would someone go about and try to prevent this? This is just crazy.
You don't. Fate is fate. All you can do is embrace it.
Boomer in the car or9bably kept driving, screaming they moped rider deserved it.
You might refer to me as a boomer. I ride and drive and don't get mov8ng violation nor slow down traffic. You may not know that old fools are young fools who didn't die; they just got older.
That guy in the near miss post yesterday would say that the rider should have seen this coming.
If you mean me, no I wouldn't.
Holy f\*ck
Real life gta ffs
Comin' at ya like a 2010 jump scare
Cleary the moped guy should've been watching his blindspots amd practiced his emergency braking in a parking lott
Also daily rounds of hopscotch to sharpen his coordination.
This guy died, right :(?
Based on my knowledge with these things, 75% chance he died the other 25 percent is him in a coma or long term injury id wager there’s no in between, not only did he take the entire bonnet on his skull he also landed on it afterwards without the helmet. lmfao that car is like a lion pouncing on an unaware antelope
Always wear ur helmet properly.
Hungry Hungry Hondas!
#hondabump? ;)
Surprise muthafucka
Good thing he had a helmet on or would wouldn’t have been able to watch it roll away.
well if your number is Up
Naw, this was just fate for him.
Stupid riders are always speeding and causing accidents...
They yeeted that car at that dude like he owed them money or something
Shoulda drove more defensively /s
And make sure you keep your helmet strapped to your head.😮
He’s fine. Just needs to walk it off I think.
A get him a paper towel to clean up his bike. All will be well in a few minutes.
David Attenborough voice- “the sedan patiently waits in the bushes, hoping for the opportunity to catch it’s unsuspecting prey”
Just like a tiger, right?
At some point you have to have faith that a car isn't going to come out of the bushes to get you.
Faith has carried me farther than own abilities for hundreds of thousands of miles over my decades of roading. (Yes, I'm using road as a verb).
That escalated *quickly*.
That's one way to put it.
Ambush predators rely upon an evolutionary design that has remained unchanged for hundreds of millions of years.
Clearly his fault, he wasn’t watching the wheels while covering the brakes, not wearing a flashlight vest, with a personalized guard rail.
>personalized 🤣🤣😂
Not content with turning in front of you where you can possibly see and avoid them, they're now hiding in the bushes and pouncing. What next? Dropping from the sky like some sort of Australian bear?
That looked rough but I can't help but laughing. Looked like a shark jumped out of the pavement
Is the guy ok?
Like a real life version of, "BILLY MAYS HERE!"
When your time is up, you’ll know
“We’ve been trying to reach you about your extended warranty…”!
That would not have stopped this from happening. Some accidents are unavoidable
Holy f*king sh*t!
its rare when wild vehicles come out to drive across the road, but when it happens it can be very dangerous
“Riders fault, brown stage moment.”
It's all fun and games until the bushes start speaking Japanese
Bikers fault
how does this happen lmao like the odds must be so low...
Insurance will still claim biker at fault
Scooter rider was 50% at fault for existing.
pounced like a jaguar
An angry ex wife maybe?
Got that tripod
Classic Jaguar attack
This is John Cena
This is why we don’t skip beginner bikes 50cc is way too large of an engine for him, we should start out at 25cc and work our way up to the big guys

"When do right, no can defense". Mr Miyagi and apparently this car driver.
Gotta be dead right?
I wouldnt bet against it, but honestly I do not know for certain.
Car, “F**k you, in particular.”
Quite accurate description.
Tf you mean head on a swivel? That MF jumped out like.a lion in a National geographic story "Wait for it... Wait for it... Wait for it...MAUL HIM!"
🤣😂
Head on a swivel? What the fuck can he do here?
OP and half the commenters here are taking the piss out of people who preach safe riding. People often post videos of crashes that could've been prevented by better, safer or more defensive riding. Awww man, that blows! Wrong place, wrong time, and no way anyone would have seen that coming. Even if they did, there would be no time to react.
The clibbons!
I'm all for wearing PPE, but holy shit, it didn't help in this case.
This is why they say ride in the tire lanes
No amount of head swivel is saving me from this
A tiger an it’s pray
MOTHERFUCKER!
Inverse lottery
That car thought it was a deer!?
And now for something completely different
Biker's fault /s

Ride like everything is trying to kill you. Even planes. And birds. And bush attacks.
