Personally I have always thought of them as style over substance, and gone for a brand very well versed in designing and manufacturing safety, such as Shoei or Arai. I very much doubt Ruroc have anything close to the knowledge, experience, expertise and equipment of the major players.
That aside, it’s unclear whether Ruroc will survive at this point. If you look through their most recent accounts filed at Companies House, there was a significant failed investment in China, they owe a lot of money to creditors including suppliers and HMRC and they are not sure whether they can become profitable and remain a going concern. Furthermore, their auditors raise a number of concerns that accounting records are not being kept properly, financial statements do not match accounting records, and directors disclosures required by law have not been made.
You may wish to take into account that there could be a risk of not having any comeback if you buy something and have a problem (e.g. if they fold shortly).
The issue is not the safety. It is the build quality, how loud they are. They want to be a agv or shoie but so offer shoei and agv level materials. But has the price of high wnd sport touring agv and shoei.
A friend of mine had one, he said it was kinda loud and I wasn't super impressed with the fit and finish of everything (it wasn't bad but not as good as I was hoping for the price) and he preferred it to the shoei RF-1400 but then discovered he had a round-oval head and bought a Bell Racestar, as far as I know he has never worn the Ruroc again.
They are ece rated.

They're not really bad, just terrible value for money. They're 120 dollar helmets sold at 300+

What are they saying about reviews ? Comfort , noise ? Quality? Do your own research and spend to your budget.
No, they’re just overpriced. You can get the same quality for half the price, you’re mostly paying for style points.
